I'm not sure of my first exposure to the Star Wars universe - but I do remember watching Star Wars: A New Hope on television one summer when I was I'd say around 10 from the point when they plan the Death Star trench run until they blow it up. What I've really enjoyed in the Star Wars universe are the novels - I've been reading them since I was 12 or so and have read almost every paperback novel released.
