I have a conundrum. Midi-chlorians should reduce raw Force aptitude down to a simple mathematical equation. For the purpose of exploring this idea lets start with what some sources estimate as the number of cells per pound in a human, about 343,750,000,000. Almost 344 billion cells per pound, and let's also assume that for most carbon based life that that is a good estimate as well. How much does Yoda weigh? Being generous, maybe 80 pounds.
So, if his Midi-chlorian level is less than a 20k per cell average, let's call it 19,500 considering he is a centuries old Grand Master, that would put his TOTAL Midi-chlorian count at (80lbs X almost 344 billion cells per pound containing about 19,500 Midi-chlorians per cell)... a whopping average of 536,250,000,000,000,000 active Midi-chlorians simultaneously on average for Yoda. Bam! Here is the Problem, Yoda can beat Dooku, rival Palpatine, etc. with his raw Force aptitude (although he has trained in using the Force for hundreds of years). Anakin Skywalker, before his fall to the darkside and multiple amputations, weighed around 180lbs. Let's do the math: 180lbs X about 344 billion cells per pound X 20,000 Midi-chlorians per cell... 1,237,500,000,000,000,000 Midi's for the future dark lord. Let's boil the math down. Yoda's raw Force aptitude is only only a mere 43% of Anakin's! Anakin-soon-to-be-Darth-Vader has over twice the Midi-chlorian might of the Grand Master of the Order! My real problem is a continuation of this thought process. How about an average Midi-chlorion rated Jedi, say 10,000 per cell. Buuuuut, the Jedi is a Hutt (like Beldorion). He weighs 1000 pounds at least. COMPUTING.
3,437,500,000,000,000,000 active Midi's simultaneously. This all means that an average Hutt Force sensitive would have a raw Force potential around 277% of Anakin Skywalker's, and 641% of Yoda's! Any Hutt Jedi would be drastically more powerful than the "Chosen One" of prophecy?! What?! And they live crazy long, so the greatest Force user of all time should arguably be some bloated disgusting Hutt that can smash planets with his mind!
Every reference and canon statement where Darth Vader's power is diminished as he loses organic mass implies the validity of the preceding concept. More living tissues with Midi's means more power, means the larger the Force user the stronger the Force user, means that a Force sensitive space slug is the ultimate threat in the universe! Tell me my inordinately long rambling nonsense lacks inherent logical substance... I dare you.
