BackgroundEdit

Hi, my name is Darth Nordeck and I've been visiting Wookieepedia since 2006, but I only decided to actually join in February 2010. My name is a reference to my ancestral castle in Germany, and of course the Sith Lords themselves. Mostly I've been correcting any spelling or grammar errors I come across, but if I notice something that could be fleshed out a little more I'll do what I can. I don't have as much time as I'd like to devote to editing, but again I'll do what I can when I do stop by.

I don't have a very extensive collection of novels, but I do have several of the Essential Guides. My favorite character from the movies is Darth Vader by far (NOT Anakin in the prequels however). As far as the Expanded Universe is concerned, there are far too many interesting candidates that come to mind, most of them (but not all) from the Prequel era and Old Republic era, simply because I haven't delved as much into the post-RotJ lore. I also have what can only be described as a borderline manic obsession with all things Star Wars. When I hear someone say they haven't seen any of the movies part of me dies inside.

I own all of the movies except for Clone Wars. Concerning the original trilogy, I have copies of the 2004 DVD release and the 1997 Special Edition. I recently obtained a set of the unaltered original trilogy on DVD, which I must say is a fine edition to my collection.
