Hey everyone, I'm Duchess Jade. I've been a Star Wars fan for a few years, and I discovered Wookieepedia last year, and finally decided to become a user this February. I was introduced to the movies first, but I started to read the novels pretty soon later. I love Star Wars: Battlefront II, and, yeah, I love the LEGO Star Wars games too. I read a few comic books every now and again, but that's mostly it. I pretty much get all my EU knowledge from the books.

GoalsEdit

Mostly I just correct spelling and grammer when I see mistakes, but redlinks are my enemies. Although I'm not very good at getting rid of redlinks: too lazy. I also want to keep articles up to date, and improve articles to higher standards. I'm hoping that I might nominate a good or featured article, that would actually pass....but I'm too scared that it'll fail. (Theatrical sob)

Random Star Wars related stuffEdit

• Mitth'raw'nuruodo. I don't care if the guy's on the Empires' side-he's the the best leader and strategist in the Star Wars books. Timothy Zahn should totally bring him back as a clone and make him team up with the Skywalkers. If you don't like Thrawn, then something is really wrong with you. Just kidding!
• Now that I'm on the topic, Timothy Zahn is a one of the best Star Wars authors. No competition. Please, have him work on the next major series. The man would work wonders.
• Mara Jade Skywalker. She. Is. So. Awesome. Nothing more needs to be said.
• Shatterpoint (novel). What a great book. I love the way that Matthew Stover wrote a book that shows the darker, grittier side of the galaxy. It's not being negative, it's called realism.
• TCW. Ok, so it's a little repetitive at times,and the dialogue can be hard to sit though, but I think it's still fun to watch. And that one episode, Landing at Point Rain? Who can say that that wasn't pretty good?
• LOTF. Yeah, Jacen turns evil, Mara dies, but it's a great series. I think that Karen Travisss' depiction of the Mandos was excellent. Finallly, an author who portrayes Mandos as people and not mindless destructive forces in armor. Well, they are destructive forces in armor, but not mindless. At least, not all the time.
• NJO was good too. A refreshing change from all the Jedi versus Sith stuff. And the authors did a good job of not making the series too boring after the first dozen books. The Yuuzhan Vong were just...well, I'd say 'awesome', at the risk of sounding juvenile, so I'll gonna go with, well, awesome.
• Star by Star was a one of the most enjoyable books in the whole NJO series. And yes...I'm not exactly jumping up and down because Borsk Fey'lya died. Come on, he's not that bad! I just wish Anakin Solo hadn't died. Poor guy. If he'd been alive, maybe Jacen wouldn't have turned into a total bastard. I mean, can you believe the way Jacen trashs Anakin all the time in LOTF?
• Aurra Sing and Boba Fett are my favorite bounty hunters. Can't really say which I like better....used to be Aurra Sing, but then I read LOTF, so I'm pro-Boba. Wonder what happens to Sintas Vel and Boba...
• Zekk. (shriek, hyperventilating...) How can Jaina just ignore him for Jagged Fel? He's tall, muscular, got that whole chiseled features thing going...come on Jaina.
• Xizor. I really, really don't like that guy. I dunno, he's just not likeable. Totally repulsive. For me at least.
