[edit] About me
Some information on Skippy Farlstendoiro, sometimes known as Monkey Cheetah as a reference to Cheeta, his favorite animal actor.
Carter Montgomery "Skippy" Farlstendoiro is a Spaniard, being born somewhere during the 1970s, although some people incorrectly believe he was born six thousand years before that. His exact place of birth is currently known as Coruñooine, a rainy coastal place; some believe it is a city, but this will only be confirmed if it stops raining some day.
As Farlstendoiro is a Spaniard, his first language is not English, but Spanish. Officially, Galician is his second mother language, but this is only due to local bureaucracy. However, Farlstendoiro has red English for a long time and is fluent in the language, including any form of English from the fifth century onwards. Other languages Farlstendoiro can use include French, Portuguese, German, Latin and, to a lesser extent, Italian and Greek. However, understanding his own limitations, he is prone to accept any language correction other Wookieepedians should suggest.
Farlstendoiro is an engineer in real life, and quite a geek. He does have a social life, although he enjoys the kind of research needed for a wookieepedia article - sometimes to the chagrin of the people around him.
[edit] Farlstendoiro and Star Wars
Farlstendoiro has been a fan of Star Wars since he can remember, which probably means 1977, having an interest in alien species. In Spain, Farlstendoiro also works on a Star Wars unofficial webpage, monthly writing an article on an alien species. Here is the link, if any of you is interested in Spanish articles on Star Wars.

Farlstendoiro's work at Lores del Sith has been quoted as a reference for the article about Iktotchi on Wookieepedia. Farlstendoiro is known because of his penchant towards Mon Calamarians.
Farlstendoiro is also a linguist and has interest in artificial languages, including Klingonese or Quenya; this is why he did some job on the almost-empty "List of languages" of the Wookieepedia.
Farlstendoiro usually disguises as a Mon Calamarian to go to the Spanish equivalent of Comic Con's: Expocomic or even Expomanga (which is intended to be about Japanese comic-books - although Farlstendoiro insists that this is a reference to Shin-Ichi Hiromoto's Ackbar in Star Wars Manga: Return of the Jedi).
Farlstendoiro has had slight conversation with Star Wars luminaries Bob Vitas and Curtis Saxton.
[edit] Fictional Farlstendoiro
Farlstendoiro is also a great fan of Star Wars comic drawer Ramón F. Bachs. Bachs and Farlstendoiro had met and chatted a number of times, usually when Farlstendoiro was disguised.
One of Farlstendoiro's biggest achievements on the Star Wars universe was a cameo on a comic-book. The comic Starfighter: Crossbones #2 features a human which is Farlstendoiro's likeness:
The comic was supposed to include only alien characters; author Ramón F. Bachs was explicitly asked not to include any humans. However, Bachs convinced the rest of the team to include one human as a background character in the cantina. That human was a caricature of Star Wars fan Skippy Farlstendoiro. As such, "Farlstendoiro" appeared next to Mon Calamarians - who are also caricatures of himself.
Now the question is: How is he going to convince Wizards of the Coast to provide RPG-data for this fictional Farlstendoiro?
By the way, I have appeared again in a different comic-book, this time a Spanish one, but also as the "Mon Calamari guy" (more specifically the "Stellar Squid").
[edit] Achievements and Embarrassments
Some of the highests and lowests points of my career as a Wookieepedian
Languages of alien species - a new stub image was created because of all the articles I created :) |
Juvaini and Relentless - My memories went fuzzy after not playing the game for too long |
Galaxy Guide 10: Bounty Hunters - I forgot to source some entries from here |
Brubb language - I thought they had a native language; no official source confirms |
[edit] Userboxes
Well, I'm gonna add this thing. I was just writing this so that my own page is not so... cold. It even was in the Wanted Pages, for Toutatis' sake!
I still don't get it, but I guess this is mandatory or something, isn't it? Somebody must be making statistics about this.
