    • Given that the only things that link to it are from TCs and a category, you shouldn't worry about recreating it. Concentrate on things that are higher up on the list (there are 268 articles ahead of it, work on those). To see why it was deleted, read the TC. Chack Jadson (Talk) 01:08, 18 July 2009 (UTC)
      • Just add [[Category:whatever]] to the bottom of the page. Then, click on the category, and type "this category is for whatever," and save it. Carbon-Freezing TechEdit

A few things I noticed with the page you just created. First, Carbon freezing is not hyphenated in canon. Second, it should not be capitalised, and third, it is not subcategorised. I suggest you place the {{delete}} template on the page and remake it under Category:Carbon freezing technology, remembering to subcategorise it into Category:Technology.   • This is very, very nitpicky, but categories are meant to placed in alphabetical order eg. Category:Carbon freezing technology would be after Category:Assassins but before Category:Compounds. SoresuMakashi(Everything I tell you is the truth) 02:06, 18 July 2009 (UTC)

Merging Edit

I have noticed that you have been placing messages on user pages, asking for help with merging. What you should do add any info from the Force Armor article that is not in the Force Protection article to the Force Protection one. You should then turn the Force Armor page into a redirect to the Force Protection page, by replacing it's content with REDIRECT# [[Force Protection]]

WookieeProjectEdit

  • Well, while I admire your desire to create a new WookieeProject to help the site, I don't think we really need that one either. That stuff sounds like things users already do, and we don't need to create a new WookieeProject for it. Also, please don't create a new section on my talk page every time you post; just create one section, and as long as something is related to that, just post it there (like how I'm only using one section to talk to you about this).   • Depends on what it is. We generally discourage trivia style BTS sections. BTS is for information on the development of the subject, appearances, continuity issues, etc. If you think it's something that is relevant and worth mentioning then be bold and add it. If you're going to merge pages together, please make sure you take the time to see that all information is being merged. Nothing should be lost in the process of redirecting a page. I left this message because I had observed at least one instance where you did in fact fail to properly merge all the information from one article to the next. If I hadn't had the article in question on my watch list, the information would have been all but lost, as minor as it was. I merely ask that you pay closer attention to what you're doing. Thank you.     • It's clear enough after seeing your Matalok merging that you don't understand how to merge pages as well as you claim to.       • Please consider this the last thing you're going to hear from me regarding the dodgy merging you've been doing. If an article has a Merge tag on it, it doesn't mean transfer unsourced speculation to the new article. It means taking the time to make a proper edit with the information provided from a source. In this specific instance, it means reading whatever information comes from the Atlas regarding Notron and Coruscant being the same planet and adding in the information correctly. Furthermore, over the past several days I've observed a fair amount of abrasiveness coming from you toward several established users of this wiki, myself included.   • I meant which GAs? The sources for the articles I wrote vary from novels to TCGs to Hasbro action figures to RPG sourcebooks. I have not yet been able to finish putting citations into each of them, but if you could help me by identifying which ones need sources, I will do what I can. Maybe you could give me an example of one that you need info on? By the way, some that I created only became GAs after others nominated them, editing them to the GA standards.     • Saying that you need planets, characters, and magazines doesn't help me much. As you can see from my User Page, I have not created any character articles that I know of (I may have and forgot to list them on my page, so if you know of any please list them for me as links on my Talk Page). The only one that I have listed was actually just a call-sign of a character from Death Star, the novel. Additionally, the creature that I wrote an article for recently, the Kashyyykian giant weaver, was taken from the novelization of The Force Unleashed. As far as magazines, I have not created any articles about magazines. If you are referring to sources in which magazines are cited (and really for whatever else you need info on), you will need to provide me with examples…not just stating the category of what you need. Article info Edit

Hey. I see that you've aksed a bunch of users about where they get article info and decided to help you a bit. See, every bit of Star Wars merchandize you own can be a source of information: video games, comics, magazines, books (both fiction and non-fiction). Just go through any of them and check whether every bit of info is present of Wookieepedia. Sometimes it will be abscent so you can add it, other times the info will be incomplete so you can expand it, and sometimes the info will be fully present in one article, but abscent in another one that covers the same topic. All the options provide a variety of freedom for wiki-editing. Some sources are even available online: The Clone Wars webcomics, WOTC articles and other pieces of media can contain licensed info as well. If you don't have some of the sources you need, you can download almost any of them through the internet (though I wouldn't know where exactly, of course). MauserComlink 17:38, 29 August 2009 (UTC)

To source the quote, in the template {{Quote|The quote itself|Who said that and when|The source}} you must fill in the last field, stating the source where the quote appeared. For example, {{Quote|FeeJee-13! Get us into air - now!|Rav|Star Wars Legacy 26: The Hidden Temple, Part 2}} will produce this:
"FeeJee-13! Get us into air - now!"
―Rav[src]
Contrary, the unsoursed quote will have this code: {{Quote|FeeJee-13! Get us into air - now!|Rav}} and you will need to add the last field to source it.
Regarding sources: I already explained that above. Every bit of Star Wars media you own is a licensed source. Only certain websites can be sources of licensed information: the official ones. StarWars.com, Lucasarts website, Wizards website, Star Wars galaxies website and other official websites are sources of valid information, other random websites aren't. I would recommend that you take a look at WP:S. For OOU TCW comic articles, take a look at Procedure, Shakedown, or Transfer. The infobox must be sourced. For quotes, here is an example:
"Never…I'll never turn to the dark side."

Here is the format: {{Quote|THE DIALOGUE|NAME OF SPEAKER|SOURCE}}

Rudeness does not fall under WP:NPA. Also, bothering the admins for a block won't get you anywhere. If you want to resolve this, talk to Grand Moff Tranner instead of asking the admins to block someone for you. (And yes, it's "Tranner", not "Tanner".) CC7567 (talk) 20:20, 30 August 2009 (UTC)

The Battle of KashyyykEdit

I just noticed that roughly a month ago you dumped the info from First Duel on the Anakin Solo into the Featured Article Battle of Kashyyyk (Second Galactic Civil War). I doubt you considered the effect that had on the article itself, which basically underwent an injection of awfully composed prose which could have quite easily cost it its featured article status. Merging is the integration of information.

Re:Userpages Edit

In the case of inactive users, their userpages are replaced with the {{Inactive}}, per the recent completed CT. They must be inactive for over twelve months; in order to replace their page with that template. JangFett (Talk) 00:20, October 4, 2009 (UTC)

Re: Good Article Preview Edit

  1. Make sure that your grammar is perfect before even considering asking me or another AC for a pre-nom review. I'm not willing to review it until you're completely confident that it is, as anything else would be a waste of time.
  2. Please check all of the other OOU GAs (and quite frankly, all GAs in general) to get an idea of what our expectations are.
  3. Quite frankly, it's never going to meet GAN Rule 5 of stability until it's completed, which means the end of Season Two next year. If you do nominate it now, it's not going to be an enjoyable review process for either us or you. I would keep this in mind before you consider nominating it. right|120px Hello everyone, this is CC7567 from WookieeProject The Clone Wars. It is currently six months after the project was started, and the number of individual projects is steadily growing. While I am happy that so many of you are writing for the WookieeProject, the majority of articles there have been sitting there for months. Several users even have ten projects or more at the moment, and I am frankly just disappointed at the level of inactivity that is befalling our articles. I understand that many of you have other obligations, and while I respect that, the responsibility falls to you to judge whether or not you're still capable of writing all of these articles, whether in time or in energy. For this reason, I once again urge you to reconsider your current projects. The criteria should be that you have the unrelenting intent to finish all of your projects within the next month. I myself have had to reconsider my own projects on account of real-life time constraints. I do not want to have to set a limit to the number of projects per user, but if it comes down to that, I will, because I do not want to see the project deteriorate and hope that you do not want to either. You may have noticed when you posted your Senate Hall thread that everything coming after the code for your sig was small. You used a subscript tag, which you forgot to close. If this is all going over your head, simply add a forward slash to the <sup> at the end of your sig code and it should work fine. I also took the liberty of fixing the code you posted in your Senate Hall thread, so you can just copy and paste it and it should work fine too. OLIOSTER (talk) 01:22, February 23, 2010 (UTC)

  • Just create a new sub-page of your User page, such as User:Gmalek/TalkArchive, add all the talk from your current talk page to it, place a link to it on your main talk page, and then simply clear out your main talk page.
