My beliefsEdit
- I believe that Star Wars comes just under [5] as the greatest sci fi franchise in history (based on quality of product, not popularity or quantity). If you include fantasy, Buffy comes in third.
- I believe that there has only been about 5 Star Wars books that I would have enjoyed reading if they weren't about Star Wars. The novels, unlike the comics, often don't live up to the standard of the source material. Sacrifice was the last good book written.
- I believe that the prequel trilogy should have started with Anakin as a padawan (during the clone wars). The second movie should have been about his fall to the dark side. The third movie should have been about him killing the jedi.
- I believe that the Original movies were not that good (in terms of acting, writing, and directing), but combined, they let you in on one of the most amazing universes ever created. The prequel trilogy did a good job portraying that universe again. That is all we could ask.
- I believe they should make smaller budget star wars movies. You can keep the first movies special and separate by saying that the "Episodes" are the core movies. All others are just minor stories.
- I believe that the Live action TV show and Cartoon will be great and that it is a step in the right direction.
- (The Clone Wars cartoon is a little to kiddy -even for my 8 & 6y/o nephews.)
- I believe we will see Episodes 7-9 in 15 years-- after GL is dead and all his kids are broke, haha.
- While these are just my opinions, wise people take my opinion as fact....you want to be wise don't you?

I noticed that most admins and some users are exclusionist on this page. That is not suprising because internet junkies are often exclusionistic in all aspects of their life. Just open a new account on a new forums page. You are likely to get comments such as "N3WB."
Now on wiki sites, exclusionist tendencies are useful at keeping false or unfounded information off the site. However, when a site concerns itself with pop culture or topics with a constant stream of information, it is important to exclude things only when necessary. The beauty of an internet encyclopedia or database is that it can be changed. Information can be added the moment it is available, and can be deleted the moment it is obsolete or proven false. In a subject such as starwars, in which new information is sometimes leaked before public confirmation, it is important to recognize rumors and other non confirmed sources. As long as questionable information is recognized as such, and the source of the information is clearly identified, an effort should be made to include this information so that the database is as complete and up to date as possible. Sections such as "behind the scenes" are perfect places to include evidenced-base hypotheses before big reveals are released.
I also think we need to be careful when merging and especially deleting articles (but game mechanics does have to go!). Everyone should check in on the Wookieepedia:Trash compactor and vote often so that a consensus is not just made by a few of us (defacto Cabal?).
