Personal Info

I live in Washington with my wife and resident demon, who masquerades as a cat. I have been a Star Wars fan since my dad took me to see Star Wars as a kid. I would always watch ANH, ESB and ROTJ on laserdisk at least a couple times a year growing up (so much that I have all three movies virtually memorized line by line). My favorite Star Wars quote is by author Elaine Cunningham who describes Star Wars in this way: "It's primarily an adventure story with a fantasy heart and a science-fiction wardrobe."

I fell in love with the Star Wars universe all over again when Timothy Zahn wrote the Thrawn Trilogy. I have read and own practically every novel written since then. I also maintain a website with a large collection of Star Wars media made up mostly of images, with some sound and video files as well.

I have been fortunate enough to have four of my submissions chosen for the former, (semi-) weekly Photo Caption Contest at starwars.com. My most recently selected caption for the week of 12/18/07 can be seen here. My third "win" was chosen as one of the Best of 2006. My first two entries are here and here. All were submitted under the name "JediMasterAramis."
