The Force has been with me since the tender age of four, when my parents first decided to show me Episode IV. I was in love with it (almost literally, in some ways) from day one, and since then, it's been an on-again, off-again obsession...my poor parents never saw it coming 8D. Since that fateful moment, however, some of the best days of my life have been spent with Star Wars; it's truly become a part of me, and brought me unbelieveable happiness.

And on a much less serious side note, I love Neimoidians. I love them. I love, love, from the very bottom pits of my soul love them!

I also enjoy doing fanwork (art, fiction, etc) for Star Wars; I have several pictures and a fanfiction going on at this time. Star Wars Musings Edit

I've seen some other users with this, so I thought I'd give it a try 8D

• c. If you haven't guessed by now, I adore Neimoidians! I find them utterly endearing with their accents, weird headgear, and soulful red eyes. I could go on, but I won't, in the name of sanity.
• c. I have a particular fascination with Nute Gunray and Rune Haako. Anyone else noticed that they're ALWAYS together in EVERY single scene? I think there are undertones. Interpret how you wish; I, as a crazy Star Wars, Neimoidian-centric fan, am just expressing my opinion; I'm not biased in any way.
• c. I think Return of the Jedi has the best visuals of any movie I've ever seen, especially in relation to the times. Ah, that scene where the Falcon flies through that swarm of TIE Fighters. Awesome stuff!
• c. I'm trying to live in a state of mind where Revenge of the Sith hasn't come out yet. It was a fantastic movie, but it meant the end of the Saga. I miss that feeling of incompletion that followed Attack of the Clones, and speculating for so long how the film might play out. But more than anything, that period of waiting came during an awesome part of my life. So, here I am! I haven't seen Episode III for about three years, and I'm avoiding "spoilers" like the plague 8D.
• c. I love ALL the Star Wars movies! Yes the prequels were different, but I just don't understand all the bad press they continue to receive. The way I see it, the prequels were definitely more political (kind of a given), and politics require thought. If you take the prequels as are, they may not seem so appealing; the true meat is in the background. This is not to say, of course, that the originals were not "thinking" movies as well.
• c. Ahh, Lott Dod, you perfect example of male Neimoidian masculinity.
• c. I find the EU somewhat hard to comprehend sometimes; I recognise and accept that it's there, and rather necessary...but, in general, I stick to the films and TV series (mostly because I'm just too lazy to do otherwise). I let Wookieepedia fill me in on the rest.
• c. Mas Amedda is my favourite Star Wars character. I know he's not a Neimoidian, but I've been fascinated by him since the age of 13; I'm SO happy we're finally getting more news of him in the Clone Wars series.
• c. I like the Clone Wars series; I was sceptical at first, but, purely by fate, I ended up watching "The Senate Spy" and finding it a very worthy addition to the Star Wars Universe.
• c. I'm not entirely against fanwork, being a fanartist and fanfiction-writer, myself...but, at least make it grammatically correct, well-written, and as canon as possible. There's a place for it, but only in unfilled areas. Few things hack me off more than seeing an original character with someone like Han Solo or Anakin Skywalker.
• c. All the same, don't judge us just because we do fanwork; not all of us are out to swoon over various Jedi and Bounty Hunters (I'm a Neimoidian person, myself ;D). I do my research and will call off entire ideas if they don't work, canon-wise, and I bet I could match most people on Wookieepedia in my Star Wars knowledge. If anything, consider it an indication of my passion for the Star Wars Universe.
• c. Star Wars should always keep its original, canon, official purity. But having said that...
• c. That is NOT Rune Haako with Nute Gunray in Attack of the Clones! I refuse to accept it! He doesn't look, dress, or even SOUND like Haako!
• c. What do you mean the prequels aren't "Star Wars?!" Define "Star Wars."
• c. I have particular affinities for The Phantom Menace and Return of the Jedi, but I think that The Empire Strikes Back is the best of the Saga. It was just utterly perfect, in every way.
• c. If you're not going to bother with spelling or grammar, then just don't bother at all. Crawl back to your hole, instead (saying this, of course, at the risk of misspelling something myself).
• c. What's wrong with Jar Jar? Sure he's a little hyperactive, but an important part of Star Wars, nonetheless.
• c. Air Cake looks so good!

• c. Interesting how a Human/Chagrian team is mirrored in Legacy.
• c. Please don't put Earth in the Star Wars Universe. At least not the canon Universe.
• c. I have qualms about the idea of the Yuuzhan Vong.
• c. How on EARTH is Princess Leia THAT short?!
• c. Please just hurry up and release a Clones Wars soundtrack, for the sole reason of the episode Bombad Jedi. Please! Look, I'm ready to give you money and everything, just do it!
• c. I really don't like that Wookieepedia did away with image galleries. I think it restricts the amount and variety of media available to garnish pages with.
• c. I'm hoping that Mar Tuuk will reappear in the Clone Wars series; he was one awesome Neimoidian! Unlikely, yes, but one can always dream.
• c. Retirement on Cato Neimoidia does sound awfully appealing...

• c. So when are we going to see a Neimoidian Jedi? Or does one already exist, and Kweh's just a moron?
