This user had grown tired of spending countless hours of his life trying to improve a thing that cannot ever reach perfection by definition; tired of the lack of appreciation from the larger Star Wars fanbase that uses Wookieepedia without ever realizing how much effort goes into maintaining it; tired of having to spend far more time on organizing articles about EU stories that it took him to simply read/watch and enjoy them; tired of the fact that from an editor's point of view the countless maintenance edits generally consume far more time than actual content-enhancing edits; tired of the lack of defined rules in many areas which led to endless debates about important site-wide decisions that still cannot be resolved years after they started; tired of the complexity of some of the rules which led to making constructive edits more and more complicated for the newcomers; and especially tired of certain users interpreting the existing rules so literally that it constantly lead to silly and overall absurd situations. As the result, this user choose to go home and rethink his life and eventually decided to exclude himself from the process of trying to maintain this mess and keep it together.
