Hello there. I am known as Mauser here and my passion for Wookieepedia pretty much comes from my passion for SW, as I am pretty much unable to read anything SW-related without double-checking if the info is present on Wookieepedia anymore. My focus of attention is pretty much anything I can get my hands on: all latest Dark Horse comics and webcomics, The Clone Wars episodes, Wizards of the Coast sourcebooks, Del Rey novels, web articles of all sorts, et cetera, et cetera. You will find me creating new articles, adding new info to existing ones, as well as making multiple maintenance edits to keep the existing info organized. You will also find me acting as a recent changes patroller and occasional GAN reviewer. I have created multiple main namespace articles, which I used to keep track on, but dropped it when the number topped a thousand. I am a strong deletionist, believing that Wookieepedia would be better without articles that somehow diminish its quality or look inappropriate to outside Star Wars community. You can find me under the username of Malachi on many official forums, including, but not limited to, StarWars.com, TheForce.net, NJOE and others.
[edit] Current long-term projects
- Scum and Villainy (sourcebook) (Currently on hold, have to finish it someday)
- Star Wars: The Essential Atlas Online Companion (Still a lo-ong way to go. But since nobody will finish it but me, I have to get back on the track)
- Star Wars Galaxies Trading Card Game (Planning to do a big update on card lores and free part of scenario campaigns from all sets)

[edit] If Wookieepedians could write Star Wars fiction...
- It would be filled with an incredible amount of redundant and unnecessary details: "Hey, look as that 96 meters-long Barloz-class freighter, that bird can make 0.85 click per hour in atmosphere, very impressive"
- It would bring together elements from the most obscure and unconnected sources. Imagine an NPC from the Living Force campaign and his partner of a species that only appeared in Star Wars: Ewoks traveling to Grumani sector in pursuit of one of the Seyugi Dervishes... - you get the idea.
- Everything would always be referred to by its proper name. Not "Jedi starfighter", but Delta-7B Aethersprite-class light interceptor; not Super Star Destroyer, but Executor-class Star Dreadnought. Yes, that would include DS-1 Orbital Battle Station too.
- Any subject which article was awarded featured orgood status would never again appear or be mentioned in any new stories, no matter how popular they might be. An exception would a be a massive retcon to explain the inconsistencies of the older stories, after which the subject would be absolutely left untouched to prevent the article from a threat of losing its status.
- The Clone Wars era and the Rebellion era would be immediately dropped as already filled with conflicting stories, most new stories would be set in the 3000 years-long untouched Old Republic era.
- They would eventually bring Buick and Energizer Bunny into canon.
- No open endings would be allowed, the character's fate would never be left unknown. If someone would to die, his death would be depicted directly, preferably in a most brutal and terrible way to prevent any chance of a character surviving, which would screw the article.
- All planets that appeared in the movies would never be visited again. Epic events would unfold on most obscure worlds, ideally the ones that were first introduced in The Essential Atlas.
