|Chronological and political information|
I started looking for Star Wars stuff in Wikipedia, until I realised it was too silly to try to compress and fit so many information in a real-life encyclopedia, while you have Wookieepedia. As its own article makes known: 'Star Wars Wiki can expand on Star Wars information in greater detail and with more freedom than Wikipedia. The Star Wars Wiki began when wikipedia users began to complain of the overabundance of minutiae related to Star Wars, which began appearing on Wikipedia.'
Advice: DON'T WASTE ENERGY AND EFFORT TO WRITE ABOUT STAR WARS UNIVERSE IN WIKIPEDIA. CONCENTRATE YOUR EFFORTS HERE :))) It's pity when Wookieepedia never sees the light of many nice and useful updates made in Star Wars Wikipedia articles by valuable contributors. Why not target all contributions in one place?
I am not THAT interested in EU comics, novels etc. I have nor the lifetime, nor the money to collect and read all this information, and I guess tht Lucas can still be rich without me. However as EU is concerned, I really like most of the Star Wars games, and the way they contribute and are incorporated in the greater EU. So the most articles that you will see me starting and editing, are those with characters and plots from the games.
I must mention that I am more interested in topics and concepts that seem important, but are not usually covered here, or even concern the majority of fans; such topics are the matter of Journal of the Whills, the origins of humans, mysterious aliens like the Architects etc. Note also that I am highly error-intensive. Sorry about the mess but I realise my mistakes minutes or days later so I am forced to re-edit my articles again and again.
I am not totally cold towards other articles. Most often, you will see me adding game-info in them, for example, adding Galactic Battlegrounds information in the article Battle of Naboo. And while there are other fans more knowers than me, I find myself useful when I can clarify or expand some stub articles, or begin new ones from dead links, with information found in other articles (or of course, games).
Articles I have started (Indicative examples)Edit
Uhm, let's see if I remember correctly
- Star Wars: X-wing
- Star Wars: TIE Fighter
- Star Wars: X-wing Alliance
- Rookie One
- Blue Squadron
- Trench Run
- Pre-Republic (most of the credit goes to User:Lord Hydronium who actually wrote it)
- Star Wars Episode I: The Phantom Menace (game)
- Category:Tatooinians, Category:Twi'leks, Category:Criminals, Category:Hutts
Articles I started in Wikipedia...Edit
- ... and were transwikied here
- 1138 (number)
- I have a bad feeling about this
- Star Wars Galaxy (yes, *I* started all this!! :D)
- Star Wars: Rebellion
- Force powers
- Force ghost
Articles that interest meEdit
I have a preference in obscure and canon-challenging articles such as...
- Ancient Basic
- Star Wars inconsistencies
- Brodo Asogi
- Latin alphabet
- Greek alphabet
- Max (lagomorph)
- Journal of the Whills
That lately Star Wars games are released as platform-exclusive :( Right now I am pissed and bored that no major continuity revelations or retcons are occuring in Legacy and KOTOR comics. I am waiting too long to learn who Revan really is and if Zayne is Nihilus etc etc!!
