- The Jedi Code
Hi <insert name here>!. I am Obnoxioussith, AKA John Nero, resident of London, England but orginally from Santa Fe, NM. My username is ironic as I love the Jedi Order, especially Obi-Wan Kenobiand Revan!!!!!!!!!!!, but I also like Jedi such as Thon, Ulic Qel-Droma (cos he's such a badass as well), , Mace Windu and Cade Skywalker. I cannot STAND Anakin Skywalker. In the Phantom Menace he's sweet and innocent, but in AOTC, my least favourite film, the portrayal of him is laboured and the dialogue between him and Padmé is romantic slop. I love all the films, in particular TESB and ROTS, and enjoy most of the novels I read. The New Jedi Order series annoyed me though. Vector Prime was shocking!I couldn't believe they killed off Chewbacca! nooooooooooooooooooooooo. I think killing off Anakin Solo was always a mistake, but you know s**t happens! My favourite novel is hard to tell, Drew Karpyshyn or James Luceno, such a hard choice.
I have watched every TCW episode and some of the plots are really good, especially the way the story arcs are linked. But it really peeves me that they keep interfering with canon. The first time they did it was with Eeth Koth. Ok, they shouldn't have done that because Inside the Worlds of Star Wars: Attack of the Clones stated he died when his gunship crashed, and it was not explicitly mentioned in any other source. Plus the episode S02E09, Grievous Intrigue, was excellent. I know he doesn't exist but I feel sorry for Eeth Koth. First in Clone Wars (2003, which was poorly designed) he's shown as Agen Kolar, and then the false death, like Darth Krayt( who's a sick bad guy). Then in Series 3 they made 9 episodes straight that were a) rubbish or b) contradicted previous sources or c) both. Asajj Ventress is a rattataki, end of story. The Mortis trilogy, don't get me started! And the Even Piell thing in the Citadel. It really annoyed me, someone should whack Dave Filoni with a baseball bat until he realises not to contradict canon. Then whack him once more for good measure :D
True to my username though, the Sith are awesome. My top 10 are: 10. Darth Vader 9. Darth Zannah 8. Darth Nihl 7. Darth Tyranus (Dooku) 6. Darth Sidious 5. Darth Maul. 4. Darth Malgus. 3. Darth Nihilus 2. Darth Krayt. 1. Darth Bane. I love Bane the most not because of who he is, but because the novels are awesome, Path of Destruction would be a classic in whatever genre. Krayt's power is immense, and his Vonduun Skerr Kyrric adds to his imposing figure
