Welcome!
Hello there <insert name here>! My name is Joseph Frank, also known as Darth Acheron. I was born on San Jose, CA, USA. My story began back in 2002, when Episode II: Attack of the Clones hit theaters. After watching the movie, I immediately fell in love with the saga, and my love toward both trilogies is equal. My username is Plagueis327, derived from Darth Plagueis and the number 327, from the Docking Bay in which Han landed the falcon on the Death Star. Anyway, I'm glad to be here, and I hope to edit as much as possible!!!!!! :D My love toward Star Wars is general, I like both trilogies as I said before, and I really enjoy to watch Star Wars: The Clone Wars, regardless of the canon-mess-up. What I really like about the Prequels, is the political universe they portray, the kick ass duels, the treasons, and the Epic Battles. Now, what I really, really love about the Original Trilogy is that weird-classic feeling that I have every time I watch 'em, the Battle of Yavin, which is the official designation that label the entire Star Wars chronology toward this event, Luke's deception, Vader's redemption and of course, the fulfillment of the Chosen One's prophecy, and speaking of which, there are many people out there that say the Prophecy was never fulfilled for many reasons, like Palpatine's return, the Yuuzhan Vong, the return of the Lost Tribe of the Sith and the dark side organization known as the One Sith. But think about it. The Prophecy said that Anakin Skywalker would restore balance, and hell he did, he killed the most powerful Dark Lord of the Sith ever; so you could say that he restored the balance during his "time", and that the Prophecy was (from a certain point of view), fulfilled. Now, here comes the thing, the Prophecy never foretold the coming of more Chosen Ones, who would keep the balance of the Force throughout different times. Yep, that's right, what I'm saying is that Anakin's offspring is the one who brought balance after his father's demise, during the New Republic era, when he was recruiting Force-sensitives to start a New Jedi Order, during the Yuuzhan Vong crisis, using the light he had recruited against the almost invincible darkness from the outside, fighting against traitors of his own blood, and repelling the re-emergent Sith, helped by a God-like being. What I'm saying is that Anakin brought balance to his time, and surpassed the Prophecy, by creating a Legacy of beings as powerful as he was, to be present when the galaxy needed balance. So, as you can see, the Prophecy was not only fulfilled, but also was kept alive to preserve the balance of the Force, forever... Anyway, leaving aside my theory about the Prophecy of The Chosen One, one of the things that I really like about the Star Wars universe is: The Sith. While I don't consider myself evil, I have a great fascination toward the Sith in general. I love their culture, story, races, characters, and the way they use the Force. For example, one of the greatest Sith Lords, the great Naga Sadow demonstrated an ability to manipulate solar activity through the Force, thus enabling him to destroy stars, an ability he used twice to escape from Republic forces.[1][2][3] Wow!!!!! Look at that, we've got a Force-user capable of destroying entire Stars!!! That reminds me of what Darth Vader once said to a certain Moff:
And that's right! The Chosen One said it, and we've seen plenty of Sith Lords besides Naga Sadow that can do tricks like that. Palpy is an example of that too (as I explain it bellow), and there are many, many, many others who can use the Force like that. My point is, do not underestimate the Dark Side of the Force, although in the end the good guys always win!!!!! Another thing I once tried was to create a real-working lightsaber, but I've got to tell ya that my results were not satisfactory at all, I got some bruises!!! XD Oh, and by the way, I'm also fluent in Spanish, so if you ever have some doubts about an Spanish word, sentence, or you just want to say something in Spanish, do not doubt to ask me!!! Also, I have a deep knowledge regarding the EU, so, if you ever have a question related with anything about Star Wars, I'm the right guy to help!!!! Regarding authors, I believe that the best Star Wars Author ever is Mr. James Luceno who has brought us Darth Maul: Saboteur, Dark Lord: The Rise of Darth Vader, Labyrinth of Evil and the most important of all (if not, one of the best novels ever written), Star Wars: Darth Plagueis. I think that the best SW guides in the last years are TEA (wish we could have books of this kind more often!) and The Jedi Path (although I'm not sure it can be considered a guide, but it comes from the same author who wrote TEA, so what the hell! XD). Now, speaking about videogames, I believe that the best SW games are BF II, KotOR, TFU & TFU II (I don't care what the critics said about the 2nd one, it was a short but sweet experience). Each one has its own standing points, TFU I & II, the God-like powers (which is a good and bad thing at the same time, if you think about it, if someone who knows nothing about Star Wars plays it, he'll have the impression that Starkiller is the most powerful force-user ever, while that title belongs to either The Chosen One or Luke Skywalker, just sayin'...:P), BF II, the classic-ol'-stile-shooter-feelin', KotOR, the simple thought that it was game of the year!!! Who says that SW has not good games? huh? :P My goal is to clean-Up, add sources, categories, images, fix red-links, and edit articles related to The Essential Atlas, The Old Republic, The Clone Wars, The Force Unleashed (I & II) and the Legacy era in general. I hope to bring 1 or 2 FA's, and to help here as much as possible. Let's hope I can accomplish all that!!!!! :D And well, now you know who I am, and why I'm here; my love for Star Wars will never be extinguished, and my hunger and thirst for the EU will never cease, and as long as Star Wars fans keep united, I'm sure that we'll be able to keep this great Universe growing and growing, with new and exciting stories, which we should receive with positivism, rather than negativism. Well, that's all for now my friend, and MTFBWY!!!!!!!! Oh, and BTW, I think you'll notice that I mostly like Sith characters :P
