Howdy. I'm Togrutalover, and my real name is: Not Important! I am a teenager, an only child, and uhhh... a Star Wars geek. My parents first showed me Star Wars when I was pretty young; just before The Phantom Menace came out. I didn't really understand it then, but I thought it was cool that the characters could just run around and hit each other with glowing sticks whenever they wanted.

On the anniversary of The Empire Strikes Back I was born. And suddenly the world was a better place, people suddenly started smiling because they knew I had been born, and I better stop this before my ego inflates too much and won't fit inside the house anymore.

Anyway, I'll skip past the first six, boring, Star Wars-less years of my life, and get to something interesting. Well. Hmm... obviously I'm a huge Star Wars fan, but other than that, there are three words that describe me perfectly: white and nerdy. I make (almost) straight As, I am a fairly decent writer, and I just became an Eagle Scout! (whoops, there goes my ego again). Also, I have ADD so I am a little hyper and I can't really focus well, but I... WOW! LOOK, SOMETHING SHINY!............. Hehe... sorry about that.

Also, I LOVE to write. I write sci-fi and fantasy stories in my free time (a.k.a. not often). I don't like to write fanfiction that much, but I'll read it as long as it ties into the story really well. I like to read, too: specifically Harry Potter, Artemis Fowl, Redwall, and, of course, Star Wars books (but I'm not picky). I also like to sing and act. And I dislike most sports, except swimming.

I bet you're wondering (if you have read this far) why name is Togrutalover? Well, I'm gonna tell you, even if you aren't. Ever since I saw the first preview for The Clone Wars I have had a huge crush on Ahsoka. I know it's a little weird to fall in love with a fictional character (especially if she's not even the same species as me), but hey, I'm the epitome of weird, if you haven't noticed already. :-) (And c'mon; you've gotta admit: Ahsoka's pretty hot).

I really like The Clone Wars. My favorite episodes are Duel of the Droids (Ahsoka battles Grievous!) and Cloak of Darkness. I like the episodes with Jedi that aren't very main character-ish most of the time.

My favorite Jedi, besides Ahsoka, is Kit Fisto. I don't really know why; maybe because he looks so awesome! My favorite Star Wars writer is deffinitely Timothy Zahn. I enjoy his writing style and I don't think many other Science Fiction writers can live up to the standards of his books.

Can anyone guess what my favorite species are? Two of them are really easy. They are Togrutas, Nautolans, and the most recent: Squibs, you bet!

I like to ask the questions "Why," "How," and "What if" quite a lot. So this is where I write my self-generated (usually) answers to Star Wars related "Why," "How," and "What if" questions. I need help thinking up these questions, though, so if you have any any ideas for a deep, paradoxical, or just plain interesting/weird Star Wars question, tell me and I will be happy to think about it and give my best answer. (And I mean HAPPY. I once spent an hour thinking about whether time travelers would be able to change the past, and didn't even realize that I was missing my favorite TV show... and then I spent another hour convincing my parents that I was right.) And I am especially good at creating reasonable and possible explanations about/for things that are unexplained.  :-)

[edit] Lightsaber Theory

Although I'm not an expert on the mechanics of lightsabers, and things may be different in the Galaxy Far, Far Away, there is a noticeable flaw. This is noted in the Behind the Scenes section of the article about lightsabers (and in Star Wars Tech) and I'm sure others are aware of this, but if it was hot enough to cut through anything, the lightsaber would bake everything near it. And I just can't accept that "a lightsaber blade was a massless form that neither radiated heat nor expended energy until it came into contact with something (except for air, apparently)." (I got that from the Wookieepedia article on lightsabers.) That is (barely) acceptable in the Star Wars universe, but if anyone ever made an Earth version, it just wouldn't work with our laws of physics and nature. So, after some thinking, I have decided what the lightsaber should really be like. The blade should be surrounded (very closely) by a shield like the one the Gungans used in Episode I: one that deflects, and contains, energy, but allows solid objects to pass through it. That would not only keep the deadly heat and energy from escaping and killing everyone, but also keep the lightsaber's energy in its blade-like shape, while still allowing it to cut through basically anything. Also, the shield would still allow it to deflect any blaster-bolts, being forms of energy. And, who knows, it could be the shield that gives the lightsaber its distinctive hue. So, what do you think? Questions? Complaints? Concerns? Llamas?

Here is a list of the short (mostly) stories I have written (most of them were school assignments; if you want to read one, just ask):

• "Root" and its sequel, "Imperfections" (Science Fiction) - About a plant that becomes sentient and his adventures (not very good).
• "Ploorp" (Science Fiction) - An alien species I had to invent for a writing assignment.
• "Morton Hall" (Horror) - A demonic creature finds its way into a home (based on actual events).
• "Nanobot, Gigabite" (Science Fiction) - A woman with a big secret is attacked by a nanobot beast (set in the future).
• "Boundaries" (Fantasy) - What happens when the modern world and the magical one clash?
• "The Birds (From Their Perspective)" (Fanfiction) - What really happened during the famous horror story, "The Birds."
• Untitled (Urban Fantasy/novel) - Think you know what the Phoenix is? Think again. It's a work in progress; I've only got one chapter so far. (Of all my stories, this is my favorite and I will only send it to users I am friends with)
• I'm thinking about writing a story involving a Squib character. Should I? Also, I need some suggestions for the plot.
