I am a Hungarian student, who lives in Budapest, the capital city of Hungary. My field of interest is the English language and I also have some Italian skills (primarily written). I am a University student learning American Studies and Italian. I had been a lurker of this encyclopedia before I registered and started contributing.

I'm particularly interested in written English, so I am likely to insert some explanation why things are not spelled in a way or another correctly. My current activity around consists of spell and punctuation checking, often changing British English to American English or simple dashes (-) to "mdashes" (—).

I am starting to see that many users are using many userboxes to indicate their knowledge and interests about particular fields, I omit it but include a list of misc info about myself which are not worth an entire paragraph:

• I do not believe in Zodiac signs
• I am an atheist, one who only believes in proven facts. I support the Evolution theory over Intelligent Design
• I have near-zero knowledge of Star Trek
• I support the Brazilian National Soccer team, Manchester United, and Arsenal
• I tried writing many fan fictions, not only Star Wars, but I failed most of the times. However, I wrote some articles to the Star Wars Fanon Wiki, but I no longer brose that site cause I think it's a mess.
• I am observant to typos and spelling mistakes except for articles I wrote
• I prefer agility to strength (my favorite fighter, for example, is the A-wing)
• I am a passive observer, I do not often engage in real-life arguments only when I think my opinion is actually a contribution. Online, I am much different (I would rather engage in a fight with one I do not know)
• I use the 1024x768 screen resolution most of the times, in case this info will be needed for a complete redesign

• I support permanent banning of vandals.
• I wonder why the majority of anon editors find it especially difficult to press SHIFT. Quick clarification: Anons very rarely use any capitalization.
• 24th June, 2006: over 250 edits a day, all of which changes British spelling to American spelling. Hell, I once supported British spelling. Things change.
• If I put a colon into a phrase, do I "colonize" it?
• I had fun reading Talk:Jedi Exile. Setting Revan canonically male? Everyone says okay. Setting Jaden Korr canonically male? Everyone says okay. Setting the Jedi Exile canonically female? This is what we end up with. You can take conclusions.
• Many main quotes of an article are simply irrelevant and not descriptive to any extent.

My field of interest is the time of the Jedi Purge and the Galactic Civil War. I am likely to be able to contribute to pages about this era. I am specialized in Jedi and the Force from the prequel trilogy and technology from the original trilogy.

[edit] The Hungarian language in Star Wars

There are several names which have a meaning in my mother tongue,Hungarian. Some include:

• An'ya Kuro: anya means mother
• Baljos Arnjak: Hungarian title for The Phantom Menace. It can more precisely translated as Sinister Shadows.
• Bordal: drinking song
• Tobbi Dala: többi means the others, more. Dala means his/her song (Hungarian does not differentiate gender in grammar)
• Laslo Dorits: lászló is a Hungarian male first name. Dorisz is also a Hungarian feminine first name.
• Ember: man, human.
• Fal: wall
• Bela Hara: Béla is a Hungarian male name
• Harvos: Harcos means warrior
• Ka'Pa: kapa means hack (domestic tool)
• Holt Kezed: means your dead hand. Holt is dead, kezed is your hands.
• Mos: he/she/it washes
• Nemet: Accusative form of gender or no
• Orvos: doctor
• Slag: hose
• Tessek: tessék means here you are, there you go.
• Tuzes-Adaz: bursting-impetuous. Tüzes means, associated with fire.
• Vizsla: a kind of hunting dog

Jarek Jaker was a Jedi Knight who worked as a carpenter after retreating from Jedi affairs. No detail is known about him since both Jedi Knights and carpenters preferred secrecy. When the two are combined, we end up knowing nothing.
