Hola, I am Toprawa and Ralltiir. My username, of course, is a tribute to the contributions of the Rebels on the planets Toprawa and Ralltiir, who were instrumental in the stealing and securing of the first Death Star plans; and, who were brave enough to resist the Empire in those early and dark days.
The above quote is probably my favorite line from any Star Wars movie, and a tribute to the incredible dark wisdom and power of the Emperor.

My introduction to and fascination with Wookieepedia began in the summer of 2007 when I decided that I had read the novels of the EU too many years ago as a naive youth with a fleeting memory, and that they needed to be re-read by a more self-aware and intelligent adult. As I make my way through the novels (somewhat) chronologically, I hope to contribute whatever I can to Wookieepedia.
I first became aware of Star Wars when my father took me to see A New Hope in theaters for the 20th Anniversary Special Edition release in 1997 when I was 11 years old, and I was instantly hooked. He took me again to see The Empire Strikes Back and Return of the Jedi as they were released in the following weeks. My life has never quite been the same since.
The Empire Strikes Back is still my favorite movie of all time.

I believe the greatest concern and focus here on the "Wookiee" should be the community, first and foremost. To that end, I am in no way a shameless self-promoter by any means. You won't ever find me creating a list of my greatest contributions, articles created, or anything like that. In short, I dislike the "political maneuvering," as I call it, that goes on here. As such, I likely will never climb very high on the administrative ladder here. I have no personal interest in becoming an Admin; it is simply not why I'm here. I'm not here to boost my own reputation by working on articles simply for the sake of turning them into Featured Articles just to say that I did so. I'm here to contribute what I can with what knowledge/resources I have at my disposal, and to edit articles so that they reflect FA standards for the sake of article quality, not any personal motivation or goals.
