About Me

My name is Jeremy. I was born in Yeosu, Korea, and adopted by a family in the United States, where I have been raised. I'm currently a student at Central Washington University, working on completing an English/Creative Writing degree with a Japanese Foreign Language minor. I hope to go into the publishing business, and to one day be a novelist. I have a specific interest in mythology and the roles it plays in modern media and culture, including series such as Star Wars and other entertainment, such as film, television, music, novels, comics, and Japanese anime.
I've loved Star Wars since oh, before you were born the early nineties. I've written fanfiction, attended conventions, tabletop roleplay, and do all sorts of related things. I'm also one of those annoying people that can spout the most useless random facts...which is probably why I like wandering Wookieepedia.
My name is in reference to the Young Jedi Knights character and the fact that my original internet provider had a limit on username characters.
Opinions of GrandeurEdit
George Lucas - Brilliant.
Favorite of the films - Return of the Jedi.
Favorite EU story - The Revenge of the Sith novelization if that counts as EU, otherwise Iron Fist by Allston or Traitor by Stover.
The Prequels - Give them a chance. They're not as bad as the fandom makes them out to be.
The Clone Wars - If you're not watching them with the eyes of a ten year old, you're really not the target demographic.
Who Shot First - There was a second shooter, on the, er, sandy knoll...
GAR size - At any given time, I can assure you, there were at least seven troopers. At least.
EU Authors - There can be only one. I vote a three-way battle between Stover, Zahn, and Allston. Stover can have all seven lightsaber forms and Ganner Rhysode, Zahn can have Thrawn and a Star Destroyer, Allston can have Wraith Squadron. The battle will be the most epic the galaxy has ever seen.
Fandalorians - Simple-minded people trying to make their way in a Jedi's universe. Genetic relatives of Narutards.
Mandalorians - Seemingly subject to the Inverse Ninja Rule both in terms of effectiveness and severity of coolness.
Darth Caedus - I would rather have my Why-do-TIE-Fighters-scream-in-space-Jacen Solo back, thankyoumuch.

The Old Republic - The only MMO I have ever considered playing.
Best character ever - K'kruhk's freakin' sweet hat.

Jag or Zekk for Jaina - At this point, I just want the authors to stop yanking poor Jaina around and give her some kind of happiness. Her brothers are dead and her parents are getting old...stop messing with the Solos for frag's sake. Although I could probably say the exact same for Jag and Zekk too.
