The December 18, 2015 release of Star Wars: The Force Awakens is still eight months away, but, at Celebration Anaheim, Lucasfilm has put the film front and center. In addition to the release of the new trailer, Celebration has an exhibit showing props and costumes from The Force Awakens. It's nothing new if you've seen the two trailers, but it's still cool to see.

Check out each of the props and costumes below:

You'll have to forgive my utter lack of photography skills. In addition to not being that talented with an Android phone camera, I was also in a rush to get through the exhibit in order to get somewhere else. I can't write about what that "somewhere else" was yet, but I will be able to tomorrow morning—so stay tuned!

But from what I did see, these are pretty great props. You're going to see me use the term "OT aesthetics" a lot, but what I love about this is just that: the aesthetics that are rooted in the realness and practicality of the original trilogy. It was great to see, and I can't wait to hear more about these characters, as well as the rest of the designs of The Force Awakens.

What do you think about the props and costumes? Share your thoughts in the comments!
