Yesterday, Jorrel Fraajic and I had the opportunity to speak to Zack O'Malley Greenburg, a music, media, and entertainment business reporter at Forbes. Zack was interested in learning more about Wikia's Star Wars communities, particularly Wookieepedia. We talked for a bit about what we thought of the new trailer for Star Wars: The Force Awakens, the difference between Canon and Legends, and, of course, about Wookieepedia itself.

We went into a lot of detail about how Wookieepedia operates, how Wookieepedia reacted to the Canon/Legends divide, and what the community thinks about the future of the Star Wars franchise. No discussion of Wookieepedia would be complete without discussing the passionate superfans that edit here and read all of this fan-chronicled lore, so we talked about that as well.

If you're interested, you can read the article here. Big thanks to Ben for talking to us!

We'll have additional opportunities for press over the next few days as we continue to celebrate the tenth anniversary of Wookieepedia here at Star Wars Celebration.
