Darth Bane transcript Edit

Hey. Following up on your comment on the GAN for Darth Bane/Canon, can you provide the transcript of the scene? I don't have access to it. Thanks! - Brandon Rhea(talk) 02:43, July 11, 2014 (UTC)

  • Hey, it's been nine days since you left your objection, and I haven't heard from you. Any chance you can get me a transcript of that scene? Thanks. - Brandon Rhea(talk) 05:43, July 17, 2014 (UTC)

69 Edit

Just a reminder that AC Meeting 69 is tomorrow at 4 ET. Hope you can make it. IFYLOFD (Enter the Floydome) 00:07, July 12, 2014 (UTC)

Echo PageEdit

I apologize about my edit to Echo, I was about to edit Domino Squad and then saw the policy about canon deaths and stuff. Unsigned comment by Evan Alde (talk • contribs).

Template:The Clone Wars comics on Son of Dathomir Edit

Hey CC, wanted to get your opinion on something real quick. {{The Clone Wars comics}} is currently on the page Star Wars: Darth Maul—Son of Dathomir, as well as the four issue pages. I disagree with its inclusion, and would like your opinion on it. My thinking is that it's not part of The Clone Wars multimedia project, which was Legends other than the film and TV show, and we shouldn't be linking to all of those Legends comics on a canon page. Thoughts? - Brandon Rhea(talk) 06:11, August 11, 2014 (UTC)

Dud Bolt Edit

It's been some time since your objections, which I believe have met met. So if you have any more or if the current ones are not yet satisfied, let me know. Just a reminder, as it's been close to or well over three weeks. No rush, though. We all got bigger fish to metaphorically fry (Or literally, in which case I bought some fish with a tasty cheese based breading of sorts. It was very good). --Clonehunter(Report your W.M.D.) 01:32, August 20, 2014 (UTC)

deletion question Edit

Hi, CC7567. I'm writing to understand your rationale for deleting a page I created a few months ago. My reading of deletion policy is that a deletion must be voted upon unless the page is fanon or a junk article (defined as containing only nonsense, spam, or inappropriate material/language).

I put the page up knowing there was some chance it would be sent to the Trash Compactor, and I'm perfectly willing to abide by community consensus. But an administrative deletion short-circuits the consensus process.

Thanks for any insight you can provide. Asithol (talk) 19:07, September 3, 2014 (UTC)

  • Thank you for the response. I am still trying to figure out which policy states that "any article that clearly violates any of the site's policies is subject to deletion by a member of the administration." This is not covered in the deletion policy, and the administrator description mentions only deleting articles based on Trash Compactor results and obvious vandalism. My understanding is that admins are bound by site policies, and cannot create ad hoc addenda or exceptions. But I'm not intimately familiar with every policy page, so perhaps you can tell me what I'm missing. Thank you. Asithol (talk) 22:13, September 9, 2014 (UTC)
  • Oh, to address your other point: I did know of the trivia policy when I created the page, and I also knew there were exceptions to it; had there been a Trash Compactor discussion, I was prepared to explain my reasoning for setting this page up the way I did, and why I felt it should merit an exception, and let consensus decide from there. Re:Error Edit

Ah, you're right; it's cause I based that off the television series infobox. It's an easy fix - just change "show name" to "title" in that Infocell|type=heading template. It's protected, so I can't do it myself. Cade StupidRepublicEmblem-Traced-TORkit Calrayn 23:56, September 14, 2014 (UTC)

  • Yep, just remove that |css= italic line from that same subtemplate on the infobox. Cade StupidRepublicEmblem-Traced-TORkit Calrayn 00:55, September 15, 2014 (UTC)

New Clone WarsEdit

Do you know if the new Clone Wars content on is canon within the Canon universe? If so, a Canon page needs to be created for the Amani. -Gen. Grievous1138 (talk) 15:32, September 28, 2014 (UTC)

Greetings, I was I curious on who would be in charge of editing certain things such as the alien race profiles. If any fan made ideas are allowed, I noticed the karkarodon have a rather short profile and I had a few ideas of what might suit their culture. Of course, that all depends on you or who ever is specifically in charge of that zone.

  • Hi there. No one is in charge of any particular section, since anyone can contribute anywhere on Wookieepedia. However, we don't accept fan ideas. Wookieepedia deals only with official information. If you'd like to contribute fan information, feel free to check out Star Wars Fanon, the wikia for fan-made Star Wars stories. Let me know if you have any questions. Thanks! - Brandon Rhea(talk) 01:13, October 22, 2014 (UTC)

Hi CC! I just was wondering why a lot of the TCW battle articles in the "concurrent" section of the infobox contains battles like the Battle of Atraken or the Battle of Drongar if we know that these have to be noncanon since non-TCW or non-prequel Clone Wars related stuff have been declared noncanon. Also, we can't know for certain where exactly these pre-TCW battles have occurred concurrently with certain TCW battles because we don't have an exact numerical timeline of the TCW battles and events yet. But if I'm wrong please correct me. Thanks!--Darth Pythonis CIS roundel (Talk) 04:31, December 21, 2014 (UTC)

  • Thank you, but I'm still a little confused. I thought anything related to TCW is canon and the EU is any other Clone Wars stuff that came out before TCW. So wouldn't the TCW articles have non EU material?--Darth Pythonis CIS roundel (Talk) 07:25, December 21, 2014 (UTC)
    • Ok, is there a place on this wiki that talks about splitting Legends and Canon articles? And would TCW supplementary guides and books and/or TCW spinoff novels be considered canon, as I think some were written by people on the TCW team.--Darth Pythonis CIS roundel (Talk) 21:11, December 23, 2014 (UTC)
