Re to your post on Overlords talk pageEdit
Questions like that belong more in the Knowledge Bank. But to attempt to shed some light to your question; In the real world, militaries don't use the same codes over and over. They are often replaced every few years, even months. Assuming the Overlords writer took that into consideration, for a Jedi code to be recieved that is a couple thousand years old, would be very unsual to say the least.
