  • People keep coming up with the brilliant idea of putting Luke Skywalker up for FA. Right now, it's so far from being to even GA level of quality, that it's just not funny. So, with the suggestion of others, I made a safe port of Luke and chopped out all the garbage. We can use this port to work on Luke until his article is fully detailed, attractive, and ready for the shiny star.

Make no mistakes, this will take time. This will take a lot of time and effort. I personally don't anticipate this bad boy being done for a year or more. It's okay- anything worth doing is worth doing well.

We welcome you to join this project, but we expect quality contributions and having a "resume" of good work in the past is pretty much a hard and fast requirement. Cheers. Atarumaster88 20px (Talk page) 17:02, 2 August 2007 (UTC)

Please follow these guidelines for consistency and ease of referencing

  • The movies are ref'd by their acronym. I.e. "ANH", "ROTS", "ROTJ". Can't guarantee that last one is actually in place yet.
  • Any Essential Guide or New Essential Guide will be ref'd by its acronym. I.e. "NEGTC"
  • As much as possible, try not to abbreviate novel names in the refs. I.e. "Dark Force Rising" should not be reduced to "DFR". It'd just be too confusing.
  • Jedi Search, Ep. III, Ep. IV, I, Jedi, NEGTC, NEC, Champions of the Force, Dark Force Rising, Dark Empire I, and Star Wars 90: The Choice are already ref'd in the infobox.
  • Marvel Star Wars issues should be ref'd using the letter "M" and the issue number. I.e. Star Wars 90: The Choice is ref'd as "M90".

Battlefront Edit

Is Ben Skywalker in the scope of this project, because if it ain't I was thinking about starting a project specifically keeping his article up? -User:Jedi Master Craighead

  • Ben Skywalker is not a part of the project as such, but will of course be included in so far as he impacts on Luke Skywalker. That said, please do your best to keep the Ben Skywalker article up to date. --Eyrezer 02:46, 7 March 2009 (UTC)
