Hey
Edit
Nice work on the Penetrator MB-450 article; I love that little gun. Jwebb13

- Of course it's great to be a Corellian; good economy, wide selection of cultural influences, and you don't come off like a rube like those poor, neglected Tattooinians, or pompous like those stuck-up Coruscanti, for example. The clothes are better, too. Jwebb13

Weapon categorization revamp
Edit
Did you ever get in contact with an admin about what to do next? Reignfire (Holocron)

- Nm, I saw it just got approved! Reignfire (Holocron)

- I was thinking, when we start working on this, we could put an explaination of what's going on in Category:Weapons along with a link to Forum:Weapon categorization revamp and File:UnderConstruction.png. Also, maybe we should work on List of weapons first and, once done, use it (or a copy of it on a subpage) as a master list of what has been organized and what hasn't? Reignfire (Holocron)

- The only edits of yours I changed were just fixing internal category issues like Grenades being under '*' instead of 'G'. Reignfire (Holocron)

- Oh. Well that wasn't mentioned in the outline so I didn't know. Reignfire (Holocron)

- I finished clearing out Category:Demolition weapons. Those I weren't sure about I just put in Category:Demolitions so you'll need to check those. I'm off to bed and will check back tomorrow. Reignfire (Holocron)

- I have issues about getting rid the Category:Sniper rifles so I made Category:Long-range weapons. What do you think? Reignfire (Holocron)
14:48, 9 October 2006 (UTC)
- Also, I wondering if we should put every single weapon (rather than just the ones from the categories being deleted) into Category:Other weapons and then start from scratch going weapon by weapon? Reignfire (Holocron)

Adjusting colors
Edit
Kindly stop adjusting the colors of of article infoboxes. - JMAS 00:42, 24 July 2007 (UTC)
- Why? CEC's article has colors. - Brynn Alastayr 00:46, 24 July 2007 (UTC)
- Thanks for pointing that out. I've corrected it now as well. Company infoboxes are to be uniform, just like all the other types of infoboxes are uniform and not customized. - JMAS 00:55, 24 July 2007 (UTC)
- Hm, I thought it was something new for companies and I was just following CEC's lead. Too bad, I thought it looked pretty good. You should probably have those lines removed from the template if they're not supposed to be used then. - Brynn Alastayr 00:59, 24 July 2007 (UTC)
- Nope, it appears to be fine. With the other infobox templates, like type of character, vehicle, etc, those are to be uniform. But I guess it's fine for the Company infoboxes to be customized to the company colors. I'll go ahead and put them back the way they were colored. - JMAS 03:24, 24 July 2007 (UTC)
- Awesome... so do I have the green light to go ahead and update the other companies then? - Brynn Alastayr 03:29, 24 July 2007 (UTC)
- I'm not an admin to say yes or no. But unless an admin tells you otherwise, then I'd say go ahead. - JMAS 03:32, 24 July 2007 (UTC)
- Fair enough, thanks. - Brynn Alastayr 03:33, 24 July 2007 (UTC)
- One request though. On companies where the company logo is just black, make the colors BG1=181818 and BG2=cccccc. Thanks. - JMAS 03:56, 24 July 2007 (UTC)
- Yeah, I skipped over KDY for that reason and SFS was a bit of a stretch with the green, but I figured there were two advertisements with it. Anyways, will do. - Brynn Alastayr 03:58, 24 July 2007 (UTC)

- One more note. I've been taking the logos from the Gallery of Logos and Insignia and working from the bottom up. I figured this would work so we don't work over the top of each other until we meet in the middle somewhere. Also, on all the articles, if it's not already listed at the bottom, I'm making sure to add [[Category:Companies]] to the category list to make sure all these companies are in the master company category list. If you haven't been, don't worry about it. But if you want to go back and hit all the one's you've done already, that would be cool. - JMAS 00:12, 25 July 2007 (UTC)
Fanon limit warning

Rebellion images
Edit
Please stop uploading your manipulated versions of the Rebellion character images. The original versions with the game background are preferred. Thank you. Toprawa and Ralltiir 20:28, 21 July 2009 (UTC)
- Number one, why? I've exported the images straight from the game (they are alternates used for mission updates and such). And number two, please refer to Wookieepedia:WookieeProject Images/Images to convert. - Brynn Alastayr 20:32, 21 July 2009 (UTC)
- Because, quite frankly, what you're uploading looks awful. I seriously doubt Culator is going to upload new versions of these images that look that terrible. Toprawa and Ralltiir 20:34, 21 July 2009 (UTC)
- The game is from 1998... I'm not sure what you expect. They are verbatim, lossless images used by the game (not screenshots) with only the bluescreen background removed. Backgrounds are not desirable in other circumstances, such as anything scanned from a sourcebook, so this seems unprecedented to me. - Brynn Alastayr 20:39, 21 July 2009 (UTC)
- And that's the difference. The intention behind uploading new versions of these is to get rid of the crappy .jpg and replace them in spiffy .png, not to remove the background. Behold: User:Darth Culator/rebtmp. Thank you for your time. Toprawa and Ralltiir 20:43, 21 July 2009 (UTC)
- If you want to upload new versions of these images, here is the model you should follow: File:AdarTallon-SWR.png Toprawa and Ralltiir 20:45, 21 July 2009 (UTC)
- Planets are inherently different from characters. The character images with the backgrounds are used by the in-game encyclopedia, which should count as a "source" rather than an "appearance". What's used by the game, as far as status updates and anything else are concerned, are alternate images on a blue matte which are dynamically "pasted" onto different backgrounds as needed. If anything, one of these backgrounds should be used, since it's more IU than the factional splash background that you insist on using. At this point, I'll leave it up to Culator though, because I'm perplexed. No one is demanding that the grids be kept for the NEGVV images... - Brynn Alastayr 21:02, 21 July 2009 (UTC)
