My Zekka Thyne featured page nomination

Hey, my name's Colin. I've been working very hard on the Zekka Thyne page for a featured article nomination, and as of right now, I've added all the pics and info I can get my hands on, read and reported on all the material the character is featured in, and addressed almost every concern that's been voiced.

The only thing that hasn't been addressed is that the article is lacking specific information about the Star Wars Galaxies missions Zekka assigns. Unfortunately, I can't find that information anywhere online, and since I haven't had a SWG account in years, I can't log on and find it myself. I'm hoping somebody will add that eventually, but in the grand scheme of things, I think it's pretty minor information, and would argue it shouldn't hold up its nomination.

I've been told the nomination has potential but doesn't have the votes, and that I should ask some people to review it for me. (I haven't actively asked people yet; I've never really gone through this process before.) I was hoping maybe you'd take a look at it and see if it's worthy of a vote from you? Or give me any further suggestions? I'd really appreciate it!

Jawas: Bad or Good?

Hey, I'm doing a project on a satirical wiki and was wondering if you could briefly shed some light on whether or not Jawas are bad or good? I'm a fan of star wars but unfortunately am unable to remember... --GlennBecksATool 16:31, 11 August 2007 (UTC)

  • Sorry, I can't talk to you. I find your username offensive. -- Darth Culator (Talk) 16:34, 11 August 2007 (UTC)
  • If your a droid, heck yeah, their bad! Also true if your a Tusken Raider. Other than that, Jedi and regular folk don't really give a crap about 'em. JadenKorr13 06:56, 15 June 2008 (UTC)

Gee, sorry I've offended you. Thanks anyway. --GlennBecksATool 17:02, 11 August 2007 (UTC)

Recetn vandal

Isn't it time someone did a usercheck on this guy? I would, but whenever I use the one on the block template, it shows the site in a foreign language. -- SFH 23:17, 10 June 2007 (UTC)

Hullo. Recently, I brought up a thread that asked some general SW questions, and it has come to a point where I and DarthMRN were wondering whether there should be an article on kitchen. I, personally, would like you opinion on the matter, as you've had more experience in this sort of thing. Here is the link. Just look a little above the confusing numerical list. Thank you for your time. -Solus (Bird of Prey) 01:40, 11 June 2007 (UTC)

Imagine! It's the 13th of 30 days, and Darth Culator is still far ahead of the competition in the Wookieepedian of the Month honors for July. Let's rally out a win for Culator. Remember what he's done for us. Maybe locked some pages, maybe he overadministrated, but he put an end to Quinlanfan's march. That's just one of many things. Whoever nominated Culator should be Wookieepedian of the Month for August. Jediknight19bby 20:37, 13 June 2007 (UTC)

New GA pic

I am thrilled that you put that art up on the Wookieepedia. Could you possibily help me out? I would like the "main" center Scythe portion of the pic to be cropped so that we can make that the main picture for the Scythe page. Same for the main CF9 Crossfire. Can you help with this? As many will attest, my computer related skills are not exactly impressive. :-) AdmiralNick22 14:17, 14 June 2007 (UTC)

  • Can you crop the CF9 Crossfire pic from Legacy #13 for use in the CF9 article? Also, it appears that the main scan of the GA fleet in formation from #13 is of poor quality. If you look closely, it is clear that it was scanned in two parts. It is a bit "uneven" near the plant and the '"Scythe is two toned. Can you replace the current one with the clearer version you put up in the first place? AdmiralNick22 01:13, 6 July 2007 (UTC)

Hey Darth Culator. I was wondering, if you get a few spare moments, could you take a look over Dace Diath and let me know if there's anything that you think needs to be done? Thanks for your time. Cheers, Greyman(Paratus) 05:09, 17 June 2007 (UTC)

SuperSaiyaMan has contacted me via IM with some concerns over his treatment by you. I've been out of the loop on Wookieepedia issues for a few months, so I obviously have not been privy to his actions here. Can you fill me in? He seems to believe that you were harassing him and banned him when he tried to call attention to it. In reviewing the discussion on his former talk page, the way in which he was treated by you (name calling, provoking) doesn't seem to be mature or responsible for an administrator. Can you bring me up to speed? Thanks. --SparqMan Talk 16:42, 20 June 2007 (UTC)

  • It's quite simple. He tried inserting his personal bias into a biographical article. The article consists of "this is who this person is, this is what his position is." At no point does "and this is why he's wrong" enter into the valid contents of a biographical article. [1]
  • I then semi-protected this article and several related articles, seeing them as fertile ground for trolls. [2]
  • After doing some research, I determined that this newly-registered "SuperSaiyaMan" is a known troll with an anti-Star Wars bias. [3] [4]
  • He refused to drop the issue, and made it abundantly clear that he had no intention of contributing usefully. When he saw that I was the primary impediment to his attempts to soil Wookieepedia, he began to harass users who were completely uninvolved with his dispute. [5]
  • That was the point at which I blocked him. He's a troll, plain and simple. I had to block him on AIM because he tried harassing me there, so I suggest you do the same. -- Darth Culator (Talk) 16:55, 20 June 2007 (UTC)

Darth Culator, could I please have my userpage back? I promise you, for the first month, I will not touch it. I hope, by the end of the year, that 80% of my edits will be to the main section. I check my editcount every day. Jediknight19bby 15:18, 21 June 2007 (UTC)

Hey Darth Culator, I was wondering if you had a source for this statement:

"George Lucas has stated that Luke has the same Force potential as his father, which is why both Darth Vader and the Emperor were willing to turn on each other to gain Luke as their apprentice. Luke is said to represent Anakin's full potential, if Anakin had lived to achieve it rather than suffer the horrible fate that made him more machine than man. Lucas further measures that Luke's Force potential was twice as powerful as Emperor Palpatine."
―From Luke Skywalker's article

If you do, I would greatly appreciate it. Thanks. --Jaina Solo (Talk) 16:21, 1 July 2007 (UTC)

Image protection

Can you protect File:Boba Fett NEGTC2.jpg please? Redemption continues to revert the image to the higher res scan that he uploaded that chops the image off on the right. I'm of the belief that when choosing between smaller but complete image and a higher res, but incomplete image, the full complete image is preferable. If you agree with that, would you be so kind as to protect the image? The image I want to upload right now is directly from the artist website. However, I don't want to upload it for risk of breaking the 3RR. - JMAS 04:13, 4 July 2007 (UTC)

Stass Allie pic

Hey hey you were too fast! I improved the picture and was going to put the "no source" message beneath it. I was just looking for the template, and you didn't even give me the time to finish. That's not fair! Klow 15:53, 5 July 2007 (UTC)

    • Don't say "period", please. I was not done yet. I was just trying to help and you didn't give the time to finish. If you don't want this pic which is not great anyway, whatever, I was just trying to help. You should have deleted it a long time ago, with many other unsourced pictures that have been staying on the site for a long time. Klow 15:58, 5 July 2007 (UTC)

        • Hey this is getting funny. Jaymatch already asked me and showed me what was to be translated, but I don't have enough time, not that I wouldn't like it. But the task is too huge. Maybe later. And I spend a lot of time fixing images summaries, adding the sources, and from time to time replacing some images by better versions. I also think that putting sources is important, just as you. 3 seconds after your deletion this picture would have had its source, you have my word. Klow 16:39, 5 July 2007 (UTC)
          • Fair enough. I just get twitchy with the delete button sometimes. -- Darth Culator (Talk) 16:45, 5 July 2007 (UTC)
      • Great, you finally understand me! :-D But don't worry I'll be more careful next time. And if you see this again and realize I'm the author of this apparent mistake, just wait a couple of minutes. ;-) Klow 19:05, 5 July 2007 (UTC)

CT question

You wrote in the "galaxy vs. Galaxy" CT, that you are going to close the CT in two weeks' time. If I start replacing "Galaxy" with "galaxy" before you shut down the voting, would my edits be a violation of the Manual of Style? BTW, I would like to ask you to either respond on my talk page, or in the relevant CT thread, as I am not sure I would remember checking your talk page. Thanks. - TopAce (Talk) 16:38, 6 July 2007 (UTC)

I asked a question in the knowledge bank and when I went back too check it I saw that it had been deleted. I posted it two other times and the same thing happened. I looked at the deletion log and saw that you deleted it because it broke KB rule 4. I assume KB means Knowledge Bank. Knowledge bank rule #4 is No wild fan theories. I just asked a question about something in the comics. How is that breaking rule #4? Thanks Anzati02 19:52, 14 July 2007 (UTC)

XM-1 Nova Wing

A new argument against the MIS FA is its name "XM-1 Nova Wing". GreenTentacle would like a source, I over looked this issue, as I do not know its source. I've checked all my TIE Fighter manuals, the game, and X-wing Alliance (game). I have not yet receieved my XWA:OSG, perhaps it's in there, but I don't know where else to look. If I don't get a source soon, I will be moving the page to "Missile Boat" and removing XM-1. Can you help me out?--MIS Tau 1 23:06, 27 August 2007 (UTC)

Your AWB edits.

Darth Culator, I have a question about your edits. Is there any specific reason why all those spaces need to be removed? With the spaces gone, it's kind of harder for me (and perhaps others, but I don't know) to edit. In addition, is there some new policy that says there aren't supposed to be links in image captions? —Grand Admiral J. Nebulax (Imperial Holovision) 20px 00:35, 3 September 2007 (UTC)

Additions to ship infobox

Love the recent additions, but I was wondering if a few more could be added, specifically "first seen" and "last seen". Like on the individual ship infobox. :) VT-16 10:19, 17 September 2007 (UTC)

  • I don't know that "last seen" would be that useful, given the multi-millennial lifespans of some classes. -- Darth Culator (Talk) 11:41, 17 September 2007 (UTC)
    • That's exactly why I'd like to see it, to know their lifespans and stuff. :) VT-16 20:48, 17 September 2007 (UTC)

My deleted images

Hi, I see you've deleted some images I've uploaded. If I were to upload them again and put them onto a temporary user sub-page of mine until I could put them into the articles proper, would that count as vandalism or would it be fine? Firebird 04:48, 30 September 2007 (UTC)

Is this right?

After looking into your new rant section, I believe you have your canon-Galaxies comparison mixed up in regards to the Selonians. The same name was used for two characters, one being Selonian, the other being Human. -- Riffsyphon1024 17:10, 3 October 2007 (UTC)

  • The point is that the human one is apparently not supposed to be a different character, and they clearly have the technical means to give her the correct appearance. -- Darth Culator (Talk) 17:15, 3 October 2007 (UTC)

Mind if I ask why you reverted he image? I got it from the same source. It's from the Audio book cover instead, and doesn't crop off his hand or the lightsaber emitter. - JMAS 23:56, 3 October 2007 (UTC)

Quick question

Mind if I ask what was wrong with the NEGVV Xwing image I uploaded today? - JMAS 03:22, 14 October 2007 (UTC)

  • Did you actually look at them? One looks like a picture. The other looks like a collection of dots that are trying to look like a picture. It takes surprisingly little effort to take an image from paper and make it look like it belongs on a screen, but you never seem to make that effort. -- Darth Culator (Talk) 03:28, 14 October 2007 (UTC)

Really frustrated

I would like to know why was reverted my edit of the Imperial I-class Star Destroyer. It was done is response to the opinions of various users expressed in the talk page, in which I also explained myself. I cited sources and didn´t contradict what the article said before, but instead tried to harmonize it with other pages in the Wookiepedia (mainly the list of ships of the Imperial Navy), lefting the phrases almost untouched. I think what I wrote has enough canon support (except the speculation about the lack of SSDs, but that paragraph is more about Operation Shadow Hand than ISD, anyway -I´ll understand if only that is deleted). The only problem I see is I forgot login in (I thought I was already logged). Please, put back the changes or at least give me some explanation. This was my first edit and having it reverted without a word in a matter of minutes is frustrating and -as long as I see it- unfair.Jon Valerius 14:11, 25 October 2007 (UTC)

  • The one of Hissa holding Ken hostage in Mission from Mount Yoda - Chapter 8.
  • The one of Hissa's limbs melting in Mission from Mount Yoda - Chapter 8.
  • Maybe a rescan of File:Hissahover.jpg also.

Hi Darth Culator,

I'm confused. I saw your edits on the Vua Rapuung article, which were very helpful in sorting out my somewhat lacking ability to spell, but was unsure of one thing:

Succession Pool? Why are both letters capitalized? I obviously shouldn't be capitalizing blaster to Blaster etc, so what's the dealio? If its MoS related, I'll gladly accept it, but otherwise I'm not sure. Also - Master Shaper? Why is it capitalized and not just shaper, or warrior. I get Field Commander Sinan Mat - it's a title. But "a field commander, Sinan Mat" is not a title, and is lower case...

Please can I have some guidance?

Thanks, and thanks again for your corrections. I'm English, so it's already surprsingly difficult to remember all the American spellings. Few embarrassing ones there though, such as underbush... :S

  • That's where the articles (Succession Pool and Master Shaper) are. Don't ask me why. I'm just trying to avoid redirects wherever possible. -- Darth Culator (Talk) 20:28, 14 January 2008 (UTC)
  • Can't these articles be renamed? I dislike the use of redirects as well, but it's plain wrong...I'm not sure if articles can be renamed, and I don't know how to. Harrar 23:41, 14 January 2008 (UTC)

Onderon image

Who said that the image I uploaded wasn't from Kotor II?--Vaklu 23:37, 16 January 2008 (UTC)

  • Someone whose word I trust over yours. -- Darth Culator (Talk) 23:42, 16 January 2008 (UTC)
    • I didn't mean anything by the question (at least not towards you), I just wanted to know why someone would think that someone was out their putting fake Kotor II images on official sites. But I see that you don't want to disclose this person's name; I don't know why, I mean I can't see why it's important, but if you could tell me their reasoning, that would allow me to show you that it is, in fact, a legitamate image.--Vaklu 23:47, 16 January 2008 (UTC)
  • Honestly I don't know why you distrust me, or why you made it so clear to me. But all I'd like to know is why this person does not believe in the legitamacy in my image's background, since you are unwilling to tell me their names, which I will respect. If you would like, we may discuss things on the IRC, since that would resolve things more quickly; I don't want to bother you, but I do want to improve upon my work. I hope we can resolve this peaceably and with out much disagreement.--Vaklu 19:58, 18 January 2008 (UTC)
    • Just keep pushing, Shaelas, and see what happens. -- Darth Culator (Talk) 23:24, 18 January 2008 (UTC)
      • I'm pretty sure my name is Vaklu, I don't know how you'd mix that up; however, it seems that you're now ill-disposed towards me, so I'll do what you ask, and leave you alone.--Vaklu 10:49, 19 January 2008 (UTC)

Star Wars: Sagas MUSH

Not to be a pain in the ass, but since others seem to be getting replies and I am not, I thought to readd. Firstly, my apologies - I was unaware that a page(s) had been created for Star Wars: Sagas in the past . I'm a new administrator mainly handling wiki information both for the game's site as well as externally. There was no explanation beyond the Wookieepedia:Constantly recreated pages notification that I received in email. Is there a particular criteria (much like Wikipedia has) by which a MUSH can be added to Wookiepedia in the Category:MU* games? Currently in this category are four other games of similar content (SWMud, Star Wars MUSH, Star Wars: Uprising and Legend of the Jedi) that don't seem to have been given similar fates. Any help would be much appreciated - thanks! Tori 23:56, 16 January 2008 (UTC)

Image deletion

I did source File:'face.JPG. Why did you delete it? And if you plan on telling me that I didn't source it, I kindly request you undelete the image so I can see that I did not source it (after which you may delete it); although, I distinctly remember putting Attack of the Clones promotional image in the sourcing box.--Vaklu 13:00, 3 February 2008 (UTC)

  • You didn't put "promotional image" anywhere, just Star Wars Episode II: Attack of the Clones, which Borsk Fey'lya removed and replace with {{No source}}. That's all that was there when I deleted it. Plus, just calling something a promotional image doesn't really count as sourcing unless you have something to back it up like a link to an Official Pix product page. -- Darth Culator (Talk) 16:48, 3 February 2008 (UTC)
    • I see, well no use in going to all the trouble. I'll just let things remain as they are. The image that they replaced mine with isn't completely unacceptable.--Vaklu 00:01, 7 February 2008 (UTC)

No! I was only trying to upload a new image of Soontir Fel I just found and never seen. What's wrong with that?(Fran 05:00, 22 February 2008 (UTC))

Bot fix

Hey Darth Culator, we now have a working fix for that bot bug that added the div tags. See User:Xwing328/Pywikipedia#Bot_bug_fixes for how to fix it. —Xwing328(Talk) 16:43, 18 February 2008 (UTC)

  • Ooh, neato. Thanks. Is there any chance they'll add that to the SVN, or will I need to add it manually every time I update? -- Darth Culator (Talk) 16:49, 18 February 2008 (UTC)
    • I have no idea. They might, since the bug report I posted was on the pywikipedia sourceforge site. —Xwing328(Talk) 00:51, 27 February 2008 (UTC)

Heh, I was actually gonna contact you today about all the tech stuff.

Please, feel free to do whatever you need; I don't know anything about the tech side of things, so that'd be great. Actually, if you or someone else could handle all the tech-related stuff-- like, templates and whatever, since I'm doing replacements for images that are used all over the damn wookiee-- I'd appreciate it. Also, let me know what I need to do to have them in the proper format, so I can save you some work. :P

About the WookieeProject-- I wasn't sure about how those things work (and too tired last night to figure it out), so I just threw that up as a temporary repository... can those have subpages, and can I change the title? I'm planning on doing a whole lot more than just the faction logos-- like, I wanna (eventually) do pretty much anything that'd be better as an svg. The faction thing just requires a lot more research, since I'm trying to figure out what symbols are used when, what the color schemes are, and so on. I was also considering doing some kind of request page, so y'all can let me know which ones are most needed.

Last, I redid the era icons, but I'm not sure how complicated it'd be to replace the old pngs, so let me know what I need to do regarding that.

Anyway, I'll try and drop by IRC throughout the day and hopefully catch you there. Thanks for the support! - Trip 16:51, 19 February 2008 (UTC)

Okay, this is kinda random and more of a quest for information that anything else: on my watchlist area place thing i looked and there were all these hits done by KillerRoboLiea3000...i understand its a bot. Does this KillerRoboLiea go around randomly fixing mistakes? And how does the blasted thing work? --LtCol. JuiceStain 00:10, 21 February 2008 (UTC)

  • And I just read the box at the top, and apologize for disobeying....--LtCol. JuiceStain 00:13, 21 February 2008 (UTC)
    • The box is a joke. Mostly. And KillerRoboLeia3000 is indeed a bot. To create it, I followed the instructions on User:Xwing328/Pywikipedia. It doesn't operate at random, it does exactly what it's told. Right now, I'm replacing raster logos with vector versions as part of a project to make basic line-drawings clean and scalable. -- Darth Culator (Talk) 00:30, 21 February 2008 (UTC)

    • Apparantly there is. That's why I had to stop making them and delete the ones that I already made. =/ Personally, I think they're nice inside an article. VT-16 13:50, 3 March 2008 (UTC)

Hello, Darth Culator. Why was this article deleted? I'm asking because I would like to create the article so I could Morrigan Corde/Nyna Calixte's birth date on there, but when I went to create it, it said that it had been previously deleted by you because of "spam". Please leave me a message on my talk page.--Jedi Kasra 22:36, 5 March 2008 (UTC)

Behind the Magic

Would you mind telling me how it is you are able to extract the game data file from the program? Is there a specific program you use to do that? - JMAS Hey, it's me! 01:06, 16 March 2008 (UTC)

  • Not at all. The program is called "Bundle Explorer" [6] and was made expressly for these files. Inside the giant data files on the BtM CDs are plain old JPGs (alongside some incomprehensible proprietary files). The upside is that there are visibly lower artifacts and banding on the extracted files, the downside is that you still have to run the program to get captions or any sense of organization. -- Darth Culator (Talk) 01:19, 16 March 2008 (UTC)

Oh, that is awesome! I'll go ahead and extract the rest of the ones that you haven't done yet. Thanks DC. - JMAS Hey, it's me! 01:40, 16 March 2008 (UTC)

Mailing list

Hey, Culator. I've set up a private administrator mailing list to help coordinate the current administrators of the site, and I am attempting to contact each administrator to get them to subscribe. You can subscribe here. My point with setting up this mailing list to get all of the administrators of Wookieepedia operating on the same page, and in a more unified fashion. Regardless of any personal differences that may exist between some members, I still feel that it is important that we are all operating on the same level, with regards to knowledge of the site, and new/upcoming stuff that is going to happen—so, basically, this is an attempt to coordinate us all in an effort to help keep us on the same page with regards to new policies, new ideas, announcements, discussions, etc. In my opinion, we're all on the same team and this will only help us to be a more organized and cohesive working unit—even more so than we currently are. I've already spoken with a few admins via IRC, and they have liked my point of this whole thing, and have thus signed up—I would really appreciate it you could do likewise :) Any questions about this, you know where you can reach me. Cheers, Greyman Jan.png (Talk) 16:03, 28 March 2008 (UTC)

Why were my edits on Manaan reverted?--Vaklu 00:34, 29 March 2008 (UTC)

"What is it with people and uploading thumbnails? You'd think that anyone with enough sense to breathe would automatically see it's a terrible idea. It makes my brain hurt."

Gee, thanks. And you would think I would just upload a thumbnail for some random reason, to create more work for others? For whatever reason, I am unable to right click on the image in full size on IMDb; that's why I improvised and used the thumbnail. -- Joe Butler (Obi Maul12) (Chow) 05:08, 29 June 2008 (UTC)

  • Standard deletion summary 1.8 and WP:I 3.1 are there for a good reason. Except in extremely limited circumstances (like the saber crystal images from KOTOR or the medals from XWA), images smaller than the default thumbnail size of 180px shouldn't be uploaded—and your own lack of technical aptitude is not one of those circumstances. If you had Firefox and either Adblock or NoScript then you wouldn't have a problem saving images from IMDb. Even under Internet Explorer you could still get the image from your browser cache. Your attendance is requested; if you are unable to attend, it would be appreciated if you could leave your thoughts on the agenda items with another Inquisitor or on the meeting page. :-) -- AdmirableAckbar (Talk) 01:06, 19 July 2008 (UTC)

Nice name! Why the admin template,in the top of the page has the lobot? In another admin I saw this templat with Lando.spartan-53 aka Darth odysseas 17:23, 21 July 2008 (UTC)

Ahsoka Tano is a Jedi Knight and i have read for ? Why, Purpilia have me undo, Ahsoka Tano is no a jedi padawan. George Lucas have say: Ahsoka's Jedi Knight not Padawan by Anakin Skywalker, Anakin Skywalker not Jedi Master by Jedi Master Yoda.

Can you block for Purpilia, i am no Admin? Master190 16:27, 24 July 2008 (UTC)

  • Pay him no mind Culator. He won't be coming back here again; permabanned for talk page blanking, PAs. Atarumaster88 20px (Talk page) 16:37, 24 July 2008 (UTC)

Cartel or empire

I've seen nothing to distinguish the Hutt Cartel (created by Jabba, run by him) and this conjecturally named "criminal empire". It's just his personal assets in the cartel, not an actual separate organization. VT-16 13:17, 26 July 2008 (UTC)

  • Yes, but his personal assets are a discrete unit. Just as we wouldn't forgo having a Corellia article in favor of a single article on the galaxy, we can't lump all the Hutts together without explicit cause to do so. You have no source that says Boorka's guards would obey Jabba's orders, and Ziro is clearly a force unto himself. Jabba's empire is Jabba's empire, even if he does have some nominal allegiance to Nal Hutta. -- Darth Culator (Talk) 13:29, 26 July 2008 (UTC)
  • Alright, but I'd prefer an actual name on it. The one now is conjectural. If these people who made the article can find info on it, why didn't they find a name? :/ VT-16 13:32, 26 July 2008 (UTC)

FA Noms

Hey there Darth! You were always helpful with my other FA noms, and was wondering if you would consider looking over my current noms for Andoorni Hui, Groznik and most notably, Gara Petothel. The latter one is long, but I think a good one. Let me know. Thanks! --Colinmcev 23:10, 26 July 2008 (UTC)

Just so you know

I saw this image (File:LukeVader REVISED mini.jpg) uploaded and in desperate need of being cropped, which I did and reuploaded it. I then noticed that you had deleted it previously for the original uploader having too many user images. Just wanted you to know I was just cropping an image I saw that needed it, not trying to go against an admin decision. I also posted a warning on the user's page about the user image limit and suggested he mark one IFD before you, or another admin make the choice for him. - JMAS Hey, it's me! 03:12, 27 July 2008 (UTC)

Why did you dealte that it was a pic i edited from this wiki for my own page ~ Daniel 06:04, 31 July 2008 (UTC)

  • It included none of the required information as listed on the upload form. Follow the instructions on the form at the time of the upload or it will always be deleted. -- Darth Culator (Talk) 06:13, 31 July 2008 (UTC)

just unblock my brothers page Unsigned comment by (talk • contribs). and i am speaking english Unsigned comment by (talk • contribs).

  • In order to do that, I'd have to FIND your alleged brother's alleged page. You have provided no tangible information to this end. Furthermore, you're about to be blocked for your transparent attempt to edit my comments, harassment of uninvolved users, and announced intention to cause disruption. -- Darth Culator (Talk) 14:58, 2 August 2008 (UTC)

come on i need him to stop being sad or my mom will send me to miltery school Unsigned comment by (talk • contribs).

  • I think that would probably be good for you. Now go on, try ruining my "reputaion" with more clever things like this. -- Darth Culator (Talk) 15:02, 2 August 2008 (UTC)

Corran objections

Locked out, addressing them here, yada yada yada.

  • I've removed it from the article. Perhaps a sitenotice asking any users with the Japanese versions to verify the images is called for? I really can't think of anything else that could verify it.
  • I'll repeat what I said on Acky's talkpage: Other sources, primary sources rather than sloppily-researched secondary ones, make it clear Corran never had anything to do with directly hunting down Jedi. "the Jedi were extinct by the time Corran had learned they had existed," the Krytos Trap. "If not for various holodramas that painted the Jedi Knights as villains and later reminiscences by his grandfather about the Clone Wars, Corran would have known little or nothing about the Jedi. Like most other children, he found them vaguely romantic and all too much sinister, but they were distant and remote while what his father and grandfather did was immediate and exciting," The Bacta War. While it could be true that Corran's efforts in investigations led to the capture of Jedi, it would have to be indirect and completely without his knowledge. As such, I'm not sure what place it has in the body of the article, especially as it's a whacked-out claim by a source of dubious accuracy. In short, my opinion is that this is little different than Fact File claiming that Davin and Cherith Fel died in the Battle of Ithor -- it's contradicted by the actual sources and is clearly just piss-poor research. If one wants to argue it's canon, then Corran can't have known he was hunting Jedi per the rest of the canon, so the entire point of the Fact File "Corran Horn, Jedi Hunting Bastard!" angle is rendered null anyway and the entry remains poorly-researched and not-really-truthful crap. I can work it in if you insist, but it's really, really dubious material to begin with. Havac 23:45, 2 August 2008 (UTC)
  • Insulting the veracity of the Fact Files just won't fly. It is stated in a source and doesn't directly contradict anything therefore it happened. Whether he was aware of it or not is irrelevant to the fact that he did it. "I don't recall" and "just following orders" wouldn't work at Nuremberg and they won't work here. -- Darth Culator (Talk) 03:26, 3 August 2008 (UTC)

Hey! About your newly created article, Theepa, I was wondering where in the game you found specific informations like her being a performer and working at the Grand Coruscant Theatre. I haven't played the game in a while, but I don't recall seeing that. Where was it? :)

Cheers! Stake black msg 18:22, 3 August 2008 (UTC)

  • This should answer your question. It's a background advertisement seen in the Coruscant rooftop mission and the Corellia train mission. -- Darth Culator (Talk) 03:52, 4 August 2008 (UTC)
