GB unitsEdit
I thought making a page with a list or table of all the units of Galactic BAttlegrounds, or simply add it to the page. What do you say? I don't have the full list myself so I need your help MoffRebus 21:24, 14 August 2006 (UTC)
- I did make one of those for easy reference. It's text only, and unfortunately, it's at home, and I'm at work. And some of the names GB gives are clearly wrong, especially with the Galactic Republic clone units, which were probably rushed into the game before Ep II was finished. I think there's still some units that haven't been added, like the trade units and some of the navy... and I don't think there's an entry for "aqua harvester" yet either. I won't be able to work on this for another six hours or so, but I'll see what I can do. Enochf 21:29, 14 August 2006 (UTC)

- Look, I really have to apologise (heh) about the spelling. I had no idea about the extent to which some of my errors were made. What's even more surprising is that when I'm writing out things in long-hand, my spelling is usually top-notch...and that's bugging me. I really appreciate the help that you've given to Panaka and Jar Jar. But I dont think that you, or we will be able to keep typos out of Wookiepedia, esp. since everyone can edit it. As much as I appreciate the corrections to the substances that were in Category:Elements, I believe that Aurodium is Gold, even though both exist. Novels Edit
I haven't read the Darth Maul book, no, but I did just pick up Cloak of Deception and the Dark Tide duology yesterday. I've read Vector Prime - it's worth reading just for the shocking event that split the fan community. Apart from that in the NJO, I've only read the Agents of Chaos duology, Force Heretic I, and The Unifying Force, all of which I found mildly enjoyable. In fact, I probably liked Force Heretic I the best of the lot!
With Darth Bane, I read it because I really like the Old Republic stuff as well, but, truth be told, that publishing era is best told by the comics (so far). My stance on PoD is the same as my stance on Clone Wars Volume 2: Jedi vs Sith and Labyrinth of Evil came first, respectively, so I accept them as the canon version of events. Also, JvS and LoE are better versions of their respective stories. Also, Karpshyn ends up referencing KOTOR more than JvS, which is a real pain in the neck. If you feel you must have it, do, but I still say wait. .... 22:27, 31 January 2007 (UTC)

Since there aren't any serial numbers or anything I doubt it. I bet there's maybe a magnetic strip, although I don't know if they'd use those for laboratories. At a minimum, there's probably a guard when you drive in who checks to make sure you look like the person on the badge. Unless he's got a doppleganger around, I doubt such security would let anyone who didn't look like Enochf past, lol. Oh well, I don't even use a picture of myself on my page, lol. - No, I wrote it myself, simply re-working the information already there in a more coherent fashion. There is most likely an emphasis on Walker in that material because he's the person who talks about the production the most.
- What surprised me was that the whole thing would be reverted without comment and without actually checking with *me* first to answer any questions. I appreciate that I haven't made *that* many edits on Wookieepedia, but I do have an extensive history on Wikipedia, and I'm not used to that amount of work being dismissed out of hand.

In Star Wars Republic: Trackdown, Dexter Jettster tells Quinlan Vos he needs to look for an assassin named Sajé Tasha. Then a little later, when the assassin confronts Khaleen Hentz, she introduces herself as Saljé Tasha. Now it seems to me that when dealing with two conflicting names like this, the correct name should be the one that character calls herself.

Ya, in my opinion, it was off topic since he was already told to take it to the various talk pages, and he instead chose to create a forum thread. Likewise, the user is now blocked for abusing various sock puppets to evade bans, and also for persistent edit warring. My deleting the forum thread wasn't done on the spur of the moment ;) I rarely do anything without a reason. Greyman

Sorry, no. The block expires when the RFRA does—only a few days from now. The comment was provocative. Do you study history? I was not lost on his analogy. I really don't believe Sikon has good intentions in returning, and I am hoping this block will serve as a warning, since he does not typically respond to other forms of communication, in the hopes that we won't have another Sentry on our hands. I took the note by Greyman at the beginning as a warning against trolling that RFRA, and I took Sikon's post as a violation of that. Concerning a New UserEdit
As you have no doubt noticed, a new user has been making a number of articles that have no sources (so thus have been tagged with a {{verify}}) and some that just make me (and no doubt others) facepalm as they're articles of the bleeding obvious ("Communications is how people communicate." QOTD re-noms Edit
Any reason WP:QOTD hasn't been updated to reflect the new rules on re-noms that were passed at the last Mofference? The "STEP TWO" section still says that repeats are not allowed. I was going to do it myself, but I'm not much of a writer, and the whole section (admittedly, a pretty small section) needs a complete rewrite/update to reflect the new rules. I was a little surprised that it hadn't been updated three weeks after the Mofference. I think that we have List of phrases and slang for a reason. Having articles on damn, di'kut, heck, poodoo and other expletives in not encyclopedic, considering that it can never have any more information that "**** was an *******an expletive." Question for you. If I were to take any upcoming QOTD quotes from The Clone Wars and upload audio for them, and then place them in the quote in queue, that won't mess up the wiki-coding or anything will it? How the Quote template is displayed on the queue page is exactly how it shows up on the main page?
