Alien pics Edit

Thanks for scanning all those in! — Silly Dan 02:44, 6 Nov 2005 (UTC)

Shadis? Edit

Were they Lucasfilm licensed? Was Shadis 14 the only issue with Star Wars RPG material? Was it WEG or WOTC? It'd be an interesting article. — Silly Dan 00:39, 21 Nov 2005 (UTC)

Basic stuffEdit

Please Jaymach, learn to use italics whereever needed, and please put all in universe articles in past tense. -- Riffsyphon1024 19:07, 21 Nov 2005 (UTC)

  • And you should know that "system" in Trebodar system should be in lowercase. -- Riffsyphon1024 20:49, 21 Nov 2005 (UTC)
    • Heh, I'll get it right sometime. :P I'm just so used to using capitals for names. -Jaymach Ral'Tir 20:50, 21 Nov 2005 (UTC)

Screenshots Edit

Why are your screenshots so distorted? What are you saving them with? - Sikon [Talk] 11:05, 4 Dec 2005 (UTC)

  • I got the ones from KOTORI from a fan-made KOTORI Sourcebook for the Star Wars d20 system. So whatever they used is why they're so distorted. I'd take them myself but...I'm very lazy. :) -Jaymach Ral'Tir 11:18, 4 Dec 2005 (UTC)

YT-4000 Edit

Hey Jaymach. Do you have some proof for the YT-4000? It seems to be considered fanon by many. --SparqMan 07:25, 16 Dec 2005 (UTC)

  • Haha, sorry about that confusion, Jaymach. --SparqMan 18:44, 16 Dec 2005 (UTC)
    • Description of YT-4000 was in Star Wars: The Roleplaying Game, Second Edition, Revised and Expanded it is licensed source, so I don't know why Jaymach deleted it. If something is in licenced source - than it is canon, I think. Mayby I'm wrong, but if not - please restore my article. SkywalkerPL 17:25, 16 Dec 2005 (UTC)
      • Ok, everything is clear now, I'v checked book, and ther is nothing about YT-4000 inside. Sorry, but I also was lead in mistake. TY-4000 is 100% fanon creation. SkywalkerPL 17:56, 17 Dec 2005 (UTC)

haha, your affiliation rocks! AIM me about it. P.S.: If you weren't my friend, I'd hate you for being taller than me! P.P.S. check out the talk page for Sia-Lann Wezz and let me know your take on the sit, as I assume you've read this: AIM meJustinGann 08:17, 8 Jan 2006 (UTC)

The Wildlife of Star Wars: A Field Guide Edit

Why hello there, you wouldn't happen to own a copy of this book? I need one tidbit of information from it to close this old VFD entry: is there a Galactic Zoo mentioned in there? --Imp 14:06, 17 Jan 2006 (UTC)

The AV-21Edit

Wow, your creation of the AV-21 landspeeder article has triggered nauseous waves of nostalgia within me :-) I was once a Master Artisan in SWG, and I crafted and sold many of these beauties. That was before I deleted my character in order to break my addiction of running my shop in the game. *bursts into tears :-D --Azizlight 00:00, 30 January 2006 (UTC)

  • Lol...I can't say I've actually ever played more than the 2 months of free gameplay I got when I bought the games. I'm actually using the Star Wars Galaxies Wiki as a source for all these Galaxies articles, as I keep wanting to see them being added but nobody else is doing it. -Jaymach Ral'Tir 00:03, 30 January 2006 (UTC)
    •  :-) I've been meaning to do it for a while, but the game has changed so much now that my interest has waned. It would be a huge job too, there are LOADS of obscure characters, items and locations in there. I think I got as far as making Emperor's Retreat and Aurilia. Anyway.... cheers :-) --Azizlight 00:13, 30 January 2006 (UTC)

Translation Edit

Hey Jaymach, I know some French (not too much, mais un petit français). If you want, I can try to translate one. If it doesn't work because I'm not good enough, you'll have to get someone else. mark@clonetrooper.com --Xwing328 22:20, 19 March 2006 (UTC) P.S. Sry it posted twice.

  • No problem about posting it twice. Sent you an e-mail containing the shortest article for now. I assumed you wouldn't be wanting the 15 page one about a time travelling Sith :P. Have fun, but if it gets too much then just tell me. —Jaymach Ral'Tir (talk) 22:25, 19 March 2006 (UTC)
  • Dang, sadly, that stuff is way beyond me. Hopefully there is a Wookieepedian from France that can give it a shot. What I was able to translate (which wasn't much) didn't even seem to follow the Star Wars story. If I understand it right, apparently Han Solo is called Sledge Fang, and some guy named Gwô searches through cantinas for him. And his Corellian corvette was riddled with laser blasts. There was something about a Galactic Lottery also...it was weird, just the random phrases I understood. Sorry I couldn't do better. --Xwing328 23:15, 19 March 2006 (UTC)
    • Ah well, that's okay :) It's rather odd if it doesn't follow Star Wars canon, as these magazines are usually quite good...perhaps it was simply comparing "Sledge Fang" to Han Solo? I don't know :) Anyway thanks for trying...I'll wait for the next contendor. —Jaymach Ral'Tir (talk) 23:43, 19 March 2006 (UTC)

French Translation Edit

Hello, I saw your post over on TheForce.net lit boards about French translators. I can read French and translate it fairly well, but to be perfectly honest, I'd need to see it to know if I could do it. Send me an email at knightp@bc.edu if you're interested. Cheers, AmazingCape

  • Replied to your e-mail. :) Just thought I'd be polite and say so here. —Jaymach Ral'Tir (talk) 20:46, 23 March 2006 (UTC)

I'm also probably capable of translating some French... I'm currently in grad school for French history. I translate academic texts and 18th century manuscripts so I can probably handle the magazines. heh. The problem for me is time because I have a lot of homework. But I could probably do it little by little. You can email me at bright_loud_noise@yahoo.com Breathesgelatin 10:05, 29 March 2006 (UTC)

Honestly, I probably just think that cuz I don't like the name, so I'm thinking others might not as well. I had not posted anything (maybe hinted around in IRC) about not liking it, so I'm sure you thought there was concensus, so I totally don't blame you. Reverts Edit

Jaymach, no offense, but please do not revert my edits without giving an explanation. The reason I made the changes I did was to properly organize the eras chronologically, as they appear out of order on the main page. I explained this in my edit summaries. I would understand your reverts if you would have given a reason, but twice you simply hit the revert button, which can be very insulting. This sort of thing is frowned upon on Wikipedia. It is something reserved for vandalism or obvious reverts, not because you disagree with another user. Once again, no harm intended, just pointing this out. Adamwankenobi 23:40, 21 April 2006 (UTC)

  • Actually the only reason I didn't leave a reason was because I just hit the "Rollback" button that I have as an admin. It automatically rolls back the page without allowing me to leave any sort of comment. Anyway, the reason I did it is because the eras are in order. They go in reading order, which is the logical order to put them in. Left to right, down a line, left to right, down a line erc. —Jaymach Ral'Tir (talk) 23:43, 21 April 2006 (UTC)

Vuffi RaaEdit

  • One down. It's taking a little longer than I thought, though; I might not get all three tonight. CooperTFN 03:12, 23 April 2006 (UTC)
    • Done; fixed the B&W ones, too. I took the writing out of the low-angle one because A, I would've had to recreate them anyway, and B, the info was already on the other pic. CooperTFN 00:39, 24 April 2006 (UTC)
      • Fair enough :) I wasn't really too bothered with the writing in it, and realized that if you had left it in then it woulda disappeared anyway, being white and all. Many thanks for doing this for me and, as I said in the e-mail, if you want any other pages at all then just drop me a line and I'll be more than happy to scan them in for you. :) —Jaymach Ral'Tir (talk) 00:47, 24 April 2006 (UTC)

I thought I'd checked this out on the Assassin-class corvette talk page, but I guess I missed Darth Culator's final comment. I think I was thrown off when MoffRebus moved the page. [HOMER]D'oh[/HOMER]. I think it's pretty much fixed now, the actual main article just needs to be restored to its correct title. -- Dengar Antilles 14:29, 25 April 2006 (UTC)

LSR LightStealth-18 Reconnaissance Ship Edit

Hi Andrew, I am just tryin to figure out what I am doing wrong can you tell me what that is? I am in no way trying to annoy you or anything I am just trying to learn from my mistakes in order to make myself a better wookiepedian. Thanks.

  • Hmm...I suppose I should have just edited the minor details out...you really didn't do much wrong, the only problems that I had were that the image was fanart (which I deleted), the article title wasn't bolded, and that LSR seems to me to be a nickname rather than a designation and so shouldn't be in the title. —Jaymach Ral'Tir (talk) 15:58, 2 May 2006 (UTC)
  • Ok, thanks. LSR was already in there so I didn't know how to change that....at least if you mean in the main article title. I wasn't aware fanart was not acceptable as I have seen it on Wookiepedia on occasion. Thanks for letting me know what the problem was. Keiran 16:06, 2 May 2006 (UTC)

The Emperor's HandEdit

Nice job on the cut story for Adalric (but that is what your best at ;D). Anyway, could you point me in the direction of where Emanations of Darkness labels Adalric as an Emperor's Hand? He's barely mentioned, and I'm skeptical as to where it labels him as such. Could you point me in the right direction, or take a second look so we can confirm or disprove this? Cull Tremayne 20:51, 2 May 2006 (UTC)

  • Erk...I seem to have misread a portion of the story...he's not a Hand :) My bad...changing it now. —Jaymach Ral'Tir (talk) 21:35, 2 May 2006 (UTC)
    • Nice catch. I guess I just glazed over that part as Jaalib saving her from being presented to the Emperor. The way I see it, Jaalib didn't save her from Adalric because he really had no intention of hurting her, he was just going to look the other way in exchange for getting back into the Emperor's good graces. Also Jaalib didn't see fit to save her until there was a danger of her falling into the Emperor's clutches. Cull Tremayne 21:08, 9 May 2006 (UTC)

New Class ship pics Edit

Kudos on adding those images to their respective pages. I had been meaning to upload some of those as well, but you beat me to it. You must be a little bit Fleet Junkie at heart... :-) AdmiralNick22 15:46, 3 May 2006 (UTC)

  • I'm not so much a Fleet Junkie really, I just have complete writers block just now so I'm going through all the ship classes and updating as many as I can. :) —Jaymach Ral'Tir (talk) 16:34, 3 May 2006 (UTC)

WhalesEdit

Does it really matter than Naboo whales are different than Earth whales if the story is blatantly non-canon? The reference in the story is quite obviously to Earth whales, not necessarily Naboo whales. I really think it should link to the Wikipedia article... no use cluttering that up here. Cutch 18:16, 12 May 2006 (UTC)

  • Well yes, seeing as I'm going to make a page on the Whale...it looks absolutely nothing like the Earth whale. —Jaymach Ral'Tir (talk) 18:17, 12 May 2006 (UTC)
    • Okay... but "whaler" can link to Wikipedia, right? Cutch 18:19, 12 May 2006 (UTC)

yo it's my user page! & not to confuse those new to the galaxy Edit

Hey Jaymach! I feel that due to the need to keep anyone who is just getting involved in the star-wars universe properly informed, I, nor anyone else should put non canon elements onto our page without citing so.

& it's my page so buzz off you wouldnt like it if someone did that to you(not that they can, you are an admin)

  • 1) Read the tag clearly. It says "The following section is non-canon. It contains information explicitly released under the Infinities brand, confirmed to be non-canon by the author or Lucasfilm, or cut from the final release of a Star Wars media." Your personal biography was not released and therefor the tag does not apply. 2) The template you are using places your user page into a category reserved for canon articles, which is quite specifically not allowed by our guidelines. 3) People can not access userpages without specifically knowing they are user pages (plus, it says so at the top) and so people will know that it's not part of the canon universe. —Jaymach Ral'Tir (talk) 21:35, 14 May 2006 (UTC)

Okay, all day today, I've been getting "403 Forbidden" and "Cannot find server" messages when I try to get on the site. In addition, loading times at points have been very slow. I was wondering, is this something that many people are dealing with, or is it just my computer? Fleet Admiral J. Nebulax (Imperial Holovision) Imperial Emblem 20:31, 9 June 2006 (UTC)

  • JasonR, the developer for Wikia, is upgrading and changing some parts of the site, as was mentioned in this forum post, it's just taking a bit longer than was originally expected. The site should be running faster just now temporarily, on the older software, but you can expect it may go down/get slow again later. —Jaymach Ral'Tir (talk) 20:33, 9 June 2006 (UTC)

STOP BUGGING ME Edit

I KEEP GETTING MESSAGES, SUCH AS "PLEASE DONT POST FANDOM" OR PLEASE STOP VANDALIZING, AND I HAVENT DONE SH**. YOU HAVE THE WRONG IP ADRESS, I HAVE NOT EDITED A PAGE IN OVER A FEW DAYS!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Leave me the **** alone. i dont care if you ban me, i just want you to know you have the wrong person, and you are doing an unjust thing. i rarely edit pages. i hope you learn something.

Your IP is registered to AOL, which, due to the nature of their server configuration, uses a different proxy for every page request. This means that you share IPs (at one point or another) with thousands of other people – the comments you received were intended for somebody else, most likely. RMF 01:13, 10 June 2006 (UTC)
  • Yes, there was a time when a vandal's IP was banned, and I was accidently banned as well. You know, insted of getting angry, why didn't you ask him nicely? I'm sure he would have been able to explain what had happened. Fleet Admiral J. Nebulax (Imperial Holovision) Imperial Emblem 01:30, 10 June 2006 (UTC)

    • Thanks, I added them into the Streen article. If there are any other pics of Jedi in Leviathan I could probably find a use for them also. Perhaps Kirana Ti or other anons? --Eyrezer 06:40, 16 June 2006 (UTC)
      • And also do you have the Marvel comics? If so, I'm looking for a pic that could qualify for:
1. Battle of Trenwyth in Marvel 103
2. Battle of Zeltros in Marvel 104, Marvel 105, Marvel 106
3. Battle of Saijo in Marvel 107 --Eyrezer 10:11, 16 June 2006 (UTC)
  • Thanks, and don't worry—I wouldn't consider it bragging, though it might make me envious. I feel a little bit cheated though as other people had already put those pics into the articles before I could! :o) --Eyrezer 00:14, 17 June 2006 (UTC)
  • I'd like to do a bit more on the Nagai article, but I don't have Star Wars Gamer 1. It has a University of Sanbra Guide to Life article that includes info on the Nagai. Any chance you can send me a scan of the relevant sections? --Eyrezer 09:18, 19 June 2006 (UTC)
    • And a pic of Dracos from Star Wars 92: The Dream would be good. --Eyrezer 00:43, 20 June 2006 (UTC)
      • Thanks! That's huge. I created the Kirana Ti gallery but it will take me a while to work through the images for her article, and the Nagai stuff. Nice pic of Dorsk 81 you added also! Thanks again. --Eyrezer 02:34, 20 June 2006 (UTC)

I wanted to know if enough people thought it would be OK for me to create an account, so I made a vote thread. You deleted it, so how will I ever know enough people want me to have an account? --68.102.193.78 01:21, 24 June 2006 (UTC)

  • I deleted it because it's not an appropriate subject for the Senate Hall forums; if you want to create an account then go ahead, if not then stay anonymous. It doesn't matter to any other users. —Jaymach Ral'Tir (talk) 01:24, 24 June 2006 (UTC)

Reverts reduxEdit

Jaymach, question: I'm not used to having my edits reverting without comment at Wikipedia, and I'm suprised to see it here. I'm not even angry, they were minor and I was trying to help clear out some redlinks. So any explanation as to why the links I supplied for the Mustafar information for HK-47 were reverted and then reverted again by an entirely different person? No ones given me a clear reason, and if there is one, great. As it is, I think I'll stick with Wikipedia. There it's the masses that revert without comment, at least. Can I get an answer, or is it just a matter of taste? Thanks. Adaon 01:52, 24 June 2006 (UTC)

What do I care?Edit

There already was a userbox for Christians, I found it and put it in. Then you came and deleted it. But what do I care about the "Shelection proccess"! I'm saved by Jesus Christ, and I'm saying it. You can't stop me.

I'm sorry I blew up at you. I'm just getting really annoyed by all these admins comming and deleting all my stuff just because they can. Like the IA2 page, that was really important to the mod, but just because it wasn't made by lucasarts some guy deleted it. And, Christians are supposed to stand up for what they believe, even when they're being treated badly for it. By the way, who made that other christian template, was he supposed to?--1upD 18:28, 24 June 2006 (UTC)

Hey, this is Darth Kakarot. You recently deleted my article about my fan-fic character, I was wondering, is there any way to get it posted up here somewhere on my user page etc?

I'm sorry for all the trouble I caused. I was just trying to give the people who looked at the Images a base line to go by sorry if that dosn't make sense but I was just trying to help the other Wookieepedians. I truely aplougise Sir I won't do it again Tnu, Valin Suul, Shido, Take your pick

Star Wars Fact Files QuestionEdit

Could you take a look at The Official Star Wars Fact File 127 and tell me if it mentions the name Lexhannen as Frija Torlock's father's name? Cull Tremayne 20:05, 23 July 2006 (UTC)

  • Sorry it took so long to respond...I've been busy trying to sort out my PC so haven't had much time for much else...the answer is no, it doesn't mention Lexhannen as her father's name. —Jaymach Ral'Tir (talk) 22:37, 25 July 2006 (UTC)

Pilot's ShowcaseEdit

Are those profiles and ships part of official continuity now? @__@ VT-16 22:15, 28 July 2006 (UTC)

  • I don't see why not really...they were posted on an official Star Wars website, by licensed staff...even if they were written by fans...of course you can contest it, and put a tag on it to say it's contested...but I don't really see a problem with them myself. —Jaymach Ral'Tir (talk) 22:17, 28 July 2006 (UTC)
  • Ah, that would make them official if they weren't marked otherwise. :) VT-16 22:21, 28 July 2006 (UTC)
  • I honestly think that its not plausible to put them there. . . Star Wars Galaxies 'characters' are not considered canonical, and these articles already cause continuity errors. Hunter III, anyone? Or yet another Jedi pilot who joined the Rebellion: Naima If'Lya. We might as well have the different 'Galaxies' as canon in one massive differing dimension. Rhysode 00:01, 29 July 2006 (UTC)
    • The things is, though, that these have been posted on the official Galaxies website...by officially licensed Sony Entertainment individuals. While the characters wouldn't usually by canon, seeing as they were created entirely by fans...because they were posted on the official site, they just may be. I'll let the disputed tags stay on the articles (but not the fanon ones) until someone can be bothered enough to ask an official about their canon status, and provided they give an explanation on the article talk pages. —Jaymach Ral'Tir (talk) 05:15, 29 July 2006 (UTC)
      • They did showcase them on a Friday Feature, which is an official channel, basically. And it was part of a contest, IIRC. VT-16 12:14, 29 July 2006 (UTC)
  • Hi Jaymach. Now that the VFD is over, I've created the article Pilot's Showcase and redirected all the articles there, and listed them. I guess we could make a gallery of all the images you uploaded (they haven't been deleted yet), but I'm too lazy to do that right now. Sorry that all your hard work went to waste here Jaymach; creating these articles must have taken up a large amount of time :-( --Azizlight 11:19, 7 August 2006 (UTC)
  • I've begun merging info from your articles into the Pilot's Showcase article, and have begun a gallery of ships there. --Azizlight 05:25, 2 October 2006 (UTC)

Home One Edit

I think it's safe to free the article again. Asked a question about the Home One on the official site and Leland Chee said the issue was disputed but couldn't provide any info on whether a new publication changes things. They also decided to make it larger in the EAW expansion pack, so it's not definite that it's 1,200m long and that should go in the article. :) VT-16 16:35, 23 August 2006 (UTC)

"Revenge" quote unquote Edit

See this is the problem with wookieepedians. They think that they have the right and need to be at the top of every page they edit. It's almost as if they never been to wikipedia before and think that whatever they produce here belongs to them and that they should be recognized for every contribution that they do. I'll stop but it takes some gall to actually complain about something like this.--Herbsewell 12:48, 21 November 2006 (UTC)

Thanks for siding with me, (but I'm pretty sure most people would). I assure you that it's not in any way a "revenge" for any disagreement we have had. Sure, I did it to annoy him but I never thought he would see it as vengeance on my part and actually take up space by whining about it on the IRC chat. Hopefully if I were to do something like this again, (something I wouldn't even notice) he won't be seen as a victim of me but more a victim of his insecurity.--Herbsewell 21:11, 21 November 2006 (UTC)

Csilla edit Edit

May I ask what was wrong with the edit I made? The NEGAS version of of Csilla is a larger and better quality image, hence why I made it the Infobox image. - JMAS 18:23, 23 November 2006 (UTC)

  • It was purely because your edit caused there to be a giant white space...I'm fine with the NEGtAS image being the primary one, and the Fact Files one being secondary...but there's not enough room in the article for 3 images, so the Chiss image shouldn't be in there...it was just easier to revert than to change everything around, to be honest. —Jaymach Ral'Tir (talk) 18:25, 23 November 2006 (UTC)
    • Oh, OK. I understand then. I'll go put the NEGAS image back then, now that I know that wasn't the problem. - JMAS 18:34, 23 November 2006 (UTC)

Polyhedron Edit

Jaymach, why did you replace Template:Ambig with Category:Ambiguously-canon sources on the Polyhedron magazine issues? I understand removing it from Category:Polyhedron, but if an article is in the ambig. category, it needs the ambig template, which automatically places it in said category. —Xwing328(Talk) 16:41, 1 December 2006 (UTC)

  • Because the ambig tag puts it in a category reserved for articles from ambiguously canon sources...the sources themselves are not articles from abiguously canon sources, they are ambiguously canon sources themselves, therefor deserve to be in a different category. Let's just see the difference in the category you want to place them in, compared to the one I want to...this is where I'm placing the pages compared to where you want to place them...see the difference? —Jaymach Ral'Tir (talk) 16:43, 1 December 2006 (UTC)
    • Yeah, I see now. Should we have a new template then, for ambiguous sources? —Xwing328(Talk) 18:25, 1 December 2006 (UTC)

Mikoans Near-Human? Edit

Are the Mikoans definitely Near-Humans? They appear on the list, but as you're the only person with the original source, I wanted to confirm this with you. Cheers, —Silly Dan (talk) 04:26, 9 December 2006 (UTC)

  • They're called "green-skinned humanoids" in Dragon Magazine 200, and Jade is described as "a green-skinned female who could pass for a standard human except for her unusual pigmentation". That's about all the evidence I can give you, so you'd have to decide for yourself I'm afraid...it doesn't specifically say Near-Human, though. —Jaymach Ral'Tir (talk) 04:41, 9 December 2006 (UTC)
    • So the question is, can "humanoids who can pass for Human, or could pass for human except for minor differences like green skin, six fingers, or a fondness for spearmint gum" be classed as Near-Humans without being explicitly called that, or reproducing with regular Humans? If so, we'd probably have to assume the Zabraks are Near-Human too: remove the tattoos and give them a hat to cover the horns, they could walk around any Earth city without notice. —Silly Dan (talk) 04:48, 9 December 2006 (UTC)

Page deletionEdit

Uh, just out of curiosity, why did you delete "Forum:A new standard infobox picture size?"? Usually we don't delete Forum pages unless the subject matter was off-topic and that does not appear to be the case.–SentryTalk 01:51, 14 December 2006 (UTC)

  • See Nebulax's talk page for my reasoning. It was basically to stop it before it came to a vote, seeing as it's at 250px for technical reasons rather than asthetics of each user. —Jaymach Ral'Tir (talk) 01:58, 14 December 2006 (UTC)

Utapau disputeEdit

I wrote information on Utapau's defence based on information from Revenge of the Sith: Incredible Cross-Sections, which McEwok reverted twice. I warned him about doing it again. Here is the direct quote from the book:

"The Trade Federation protects its position in remote galactic regions by placing embargoes on arms sales to planetary governments. As a result, Utapauns rely upon self-made, downscaled ships - their biggest anti-pirate Rendili Dreadnaught is one-fifth the size of a Trade Federation Battleship."
―Revenge of the Sith: Incredible Cross-Sections, page 22

McEwok has also been injecting his unfounded personal opinions into a longwinded discussion on the MC80 Star Cruiser talk page, while I have been providing official sources and quotes, that refute most of them. I have also been removing or modifying his recent entries into articles which are mostly based on those unfounded opinions. When called to provide evidence, he has usually ignored this over and over and settled for more of his personal opinion instead. Now I've had enough of it. It's both disruptive of the work done on this encyclopedia and when it gets into articles themselves, it is outright forbidden as well, is it not? VT-16 12:29, 20 January 2007 (UTC)

  • Since statements from authors and artists on external message boards is often used on this site in bts sections to clarify points in an article, I want this article opened again so I can put a relevant author's quote in it. Said author has earlier provided a statement regarding the interview which I'm getting the quote from:
"People might wonder about whether or not interviews are official. Every word I wrote in the interview had to be approved by Lucy Wilson before TFN could post anything."
―Curtis Saxton
That should clear things up so there's no confusion. VT-16 12:20, 1 March 2007 (UTC)

RE: Categories Edit

I understand your frustration; it gets annoying to recategorize things. I will discontinue doing on the condition that you hear me out on the reason behind my doing it. The reason I take away the punctuation in the names is because it messes up the categorizer-thing. When, say, you put a dash in a last name (such as Etain Tur-Mukan), it discards the last part after the dash ('Mukan,' in this case) and classifies it as only 'Tur'. You can check all of her categories and see this for yourself. It does the same thing with apostrophes (See Zyix K'zzt, who is placed at the beginning of the Ks in his categories, when he belongs at nearly the very end) and capitals (See TK-421, who is placed at the beginning of the T section of his categories when he should be in the Tks). When categorized as I was doing it (TK-421 being categorized as Tk421), it properly categorizes them and avoids being confused. Until you reply and give me your verdict, I will not mess with the categorization. Thank you for your time. -Solus (Bird of Prey) 21:35, 13 February 2007 (UTC)

PlattEdit

Hey Jaymach. I'm doing a round of SWAJ owners, and although you've already helped me heaps, it would be rude to leave you out of this request! As you may know, I've been researching Platt Okeefe, and I now have all the major sources involving her. However, what I'm still looking for are any relevant pieces of information on Okeefe that may be found in her various Smuggler's Logs or the Galaxywide NewsNets articles. Perhaps an example of what I'm looking for would be useful. One piece of info I found here on the Wookiee was Okeefe meeting the Dread Pirate, Mendel Cutter while she was a "waif". If you could help at all from your Adventure Journals, it would be greatly appreciated. Thanks! --Eyrezer 09:54, 1 April 2007 (UTC)--Eyrezer 08:29, 1 April 2007 (UTC)

Re: FAN pageEdit

  • For the record, the Inquisitorius did not strike those objections or overrule people's votes. I did and Darth Culator did. If the Inquisitorius did it, you would have seen a formal vote in the Inq pages or in a meeting log. You'll find no vote. The objections were stricken because they don't fall under any of the rules, which you'll find that we had a CT that passed that also. For the record, the Inquisitorius is somewhat split over the article, with at least two, possibly three members dissenting. With two members dissenting, it won't be featured. Seriously, the Inquisitorius does a lot of things, but randomly blasting people's objections is not one of them. It just so happens that Culator and I are members and we enforced the provision that says "Please cite which rule your objection falls under! Failure to do so will result in your objection being considered invalid." The Inq page says "Additionally, FA objections can be struck by the Inquisitorius (as well as by any admin) if they do not fall under one of the rules." As far as I'm concerned, since the Inquisitorius didn't vote on it, Culator and I were acting as admins. Seriously. Atarumaster88 Jedi Order (Audience Chamber) 14:34, 6 April 2007 (UTC)

Jedi in the GCW Edit

Thanks for the list. Please understand I dont usually sound like an ass, but I thought we were all on here in good fun. While I may have taken my bias towards Galaxies a bit too far, I did not appreciate having all of my contributions and thoughts titled as "horse shit". Unfortunately I allowed my emotions to run over and thus the arguement. I appreciate the fact that Galaxies is canon, but it feels to me it should be it's own form of canon. I do not, in any way, wish to make anyone's experience on here unenjoyable, I'm just here to learn more about the Universe I love, and to put the knowledge I do have to good use. So. Battle of Eriadu RevertEdit

Why did you revert my edit to the Battle of Eriadu article? Did you not even bother to read the discussion I had with Piequals3?

  • I reverted it because the battle is fully canon. It's not from an unlicensed source or one whose canon status is unconfirmed. It's from a fully canon source, so it's fully canon. If you don't like it, go elsewhere. —Jaymach Ral'Tir (talk) 06:18, 22 July 2007 (UTC)
    • First off all, I suggest that you tone down your attitude a notch. I don't appreciate comments such as "if you don't like it, go elsewhere." I thought the point of projects such as these were cooperation; something you don't seem to keen on practicing.
    • This has nothing to do with what the source is, which you would already know if you would have so kindly looked at the discussion which I already linked to above. Spewing out such nonsense as "it's from a fully canon source, so it's fully canon," does not impress me in the least.
    • Since you do not seem the least bit interested in reviewing the discussion I had about this article with another article, I will restate my position once again on your own talk page. Empire at War is game that, if you have even actually played it, you would know has a very free form campaign mode that gives you goals to accomplish, but a certain amount of freedom getting there. In this particular case, the issue is of an option skirmish in the Imperial campaign.
    • After destroying a pirate base above Ilum, Darth Vader is informed by Grand Moff Tarkin that he requires more labor for the Death Star project, and he believes the Geonosians would be adequate in fitting the bill. Thus, Vader is tasked with traveling to Geonosis with a task force and subjugating them.
    • There are many systems between Imperial controlled space and Geonosis at this point in the game; some empty, some occupied by pirates and a few even containing Rebel bases. Eriadu is one such system. All other battles taken from Empire at War and used as an article on Wookieepedia are from actual missions of the game, such as the actual battle for Geonosis itself. This battle IS NOT an actual mission from the game, is BYPASSABLE, and is therefore NOT CANON.Pelmarn Da'kari 06:53, 22 July 2007 (UTC)
      • I read the entire discussion. While it's bypassable, we include all side stories and all side plots in computer games on this wiki as fully canon. Occasionally we add {{Gamemechanics}} and {{Endgame}} templates to note that something only comes about when you complete all of the game, but we do not add the Template:Ambig template, which states that the source material has not been deemed canon. And to be quite frank, the "if you don't like it, go elsewhere" still stands...we accept all canon information, and don't label it incorrectly. —Jaymach Ral'Tir (talk) 06:58, 22 July 2007 (UTC)
        • The ambig template was the suggestion I got from Piequals3. I originally simply wanted to have it deleted. Let me ask you again, have you actually played this game? It is not humanly possible to add every possible scenario of this game; it is a dynamic system! The only thing that is consistent is the main missions; for every thing else, the Rebels could take over a pirate planet, or you could lose one of your own and have to retake it, or you could attack a system once but revert to a save made before you did, wait a little longer, and the enemy will have a completely different force waiting for you. Do you actually propose to add canonical battles to this website based on THAT? You take that as "canon information?" Pelmarn Da'kari 07:09, 22 July 2007 (UTC)
          • I have played the game, yes...and I know that it's a somewhat dynamic system, but there are certain things can always happen when you do certain things. In addition to this, the Prima Guide for the game informs the user to subjugate all of the planets that get revealed before you take on Geonosis. We tend to go with the "if it happens in the official guide, it's what really happens". While this means that an awful lot of the optional scenario's happen, it does not mean all of them do. Either way, the article is not a candidate for the Template:Ambig template. —Jaymach Ral'Tir (talk) 07:23, 22 July 2007 (UTC)
            • This is not one of those "certain things." Prima guides do not make a very good source for canon at all; they're frikking strategy guides (and not very good ones at that, riddled with inaccuarcies)! What does that fact that they say to take over every system to make the game easier...have anything to do with the argument? In the game, it is possible for the Empire to completely destroy the Alliance; in fact, it is their final campaign mission to do so. Does the fact that it appears in the game automatically make it canon? NO. It is possible for the Alliance to conquer all Imperial worlds, including Coruscant, and destroy the Empire before the Battle of Yavin even occurs. Is that canon? Even an imbecile should be able to figure that one out.
            • As I already stated before, using the "ambig" template was not my first choice; however, if you disagree with it strongly enough, I would be happy to go back to the deletion template. I eagerly anticipate your response. Pelmarn Da'kari 07:32, 22 July 2007 (UTC)
              • The Prima Guides are completely canon. If they said that the Rebel Alliance took over Coruscant, then we'd make a note stated that they temporarily took over Coruscant. They don't, however, and so we do not have a page on that skirmish. They do, however, say that the Empire took over every planet that's revealed when you get to Geonosis. The Battle of Eriadu is the consequence. Obviously, when the game contradicts higher canon, it's ruled out as gameplay mechanics. So, while the Empire obviously didn't wipe out the Rebels, they did do everything else in the Prima Guide. —Jaymach Ral'Tir (talk) 07:39, 22 July 2007 (UTC)
              • IF this is really true and a rule, then I apologize for wasting time (both yours and my own)! I simply never realized the "canonicity" of Prima Strategy Guides (*snigger*). I guess somebody better get working on all those other "canon" battles that are missing right now...I think there is probably somewhere around sixty. I'm certainly NOT going to be adding them, myself...anyway...TATA! Pelmarn Da'kari 07:53, 22 July 2007 (UTC)

Changes? Edit

I logged on today and noticed that all of my recent edits of Corran’s page had been undone. I feel that my edits were more correct than those before it (as I had the books on hand then and now) and wish to prove to you that they are.

First on the Lusankya, I understand that Super Star Destroyers are occasionally referred to as "Executor Class"; however in "I Jedi" it is clearly referred to as an SSD.

On the subject of Corran's escape, Corran was not known to be missing at the time of the search it was in fact General Derricote as Jan had alarmed the Imps that Derricote had escaped so they wouldn't notice Corran's absence. This can be further proven when Corran ends up in the museum room with the Jedi displays. The three men that entered the room exclaimed that, "He's not the fat guy." which implies that they were searching for Derricote (CHPTR 40, "X-wing: The Kryptos Trap"). Furthermore during that encounter it shows that those troops were not stormtrooper when Corran has killed them the book states, "their black uniforms weren't any sort of Imperial uniform that he had ever seen before, and the men themselves were mismatched enough that he knew they weren't stormtroopers" (pg. 311, "X-wing: The Kryptos Trap" 1996 edition).

On the "Jedi mind trick" and "alter mind" force power I would have to say that "Jedi mind trick" while lacking a good name is the most commonly used. Furthermore "Alter Mind" is not even listed as an existing force power "Affect Mind" and "Dominate Mind" are found in KOTR, but there is not a mention of Alter Mind anywhere on the mind trick page.

Also on the subject of Sair Yonka his part of the Bacta War's final battle should not be underestimated. With the only capital ship on the Rouges side at the beginning of the battle, and with the amount of damage his ship alone did I would say that his contribution made it possible to win the battle.

Welcome to Project Wormhead
You are receiving this message because at some point you have expressed interest in Project Wormhead.
As project manager, I'll be sending out monthly messages with requests and suggestions for the project. Since it's late in the month of January, I haven't planned any assignments or focuses for this month, but they will start in February. The entire tentative schedule is posted at the discussion page for this project. I look forward to working with all of you on this project and finally bringing Luke Skywalker to the standard of quality that he deserves. It will require work, but if everyone pitches in, it won't be bad. It would really, really help to have the timeline before the end of January. Cheers, Atarumaster88 Jedi Order (Talk page) 16:09, 18 January 2008 (UTC)
Please check out the Project Wormhead page and think about where you can contribute. Address any questions or comments to my talk page please.

CommenorEdit

Jason Fry over on tfn asked if someone could check the Commenor article in the Fact Files. According to the Wook, it is placed in Rachuk sector, and Fry is wondering if this is from the FF as he has no other source for it. That piece of info was added by Gann so its unlikely but I thought you might be able to check. The thread is here. --Eyrezer 01:02, 22 January 2008 (UTC)

Welcome to Project Wormhead!
Okay, it's officially February, and that means it's time to kick Project Wormhead into full gear. We have 11 months to get this article ready for the GA page. To those of you who have already been making edits, your work is greatly appreciated. As you work on various things throughout the month, please sign up for any sources/appearances you are willing to work on this month. I have my own personal tentative schedule as well as project goals here. The big focus for this month is working on comics. There are a large number of them, so I figured we'd start early on those. If the project can expand the article by twenty sources each month, we'll be well on our way. I'm personally planning on handling about eight of those. Address any comments to my talk page or the discussion page for this project. I thank you all again for your commitment and look forward to what we can do. Stock Ships Edit

Hello Jaymach. I see that you own a copy of the sourcebook "Stock Ships" by WEG. So I wanted to ask for your assistance with something.

I would like get as much information as I can on a class of ship that is listed there. The "Lantillian Short Hauler". I would love to be able to read an actual scan of the pages in which the ship is referenced, if that's ok with you.

If you think you can give me a hand with this issue, please send me the scans to carlitosrocanrol@hotmail.com. Let me know if there is anything else you need to help you on this. Carlitos Moff 08:24, 6 February 2008 (UTC)

  • Actually, nevermind. I already got the information I needed from jSarek over at IRC. Thanks anyway! Carlitos Moff 01:53, 7 February 2008 (UTC)

Rolling along withProject Wormhead.
March rolled around fast for us, and I've been taking stock of the progress so far. A lot has happened, and I want to thank anyone who's contributed so far. You all are making this dream a possibility. For those of you who haven't yet gotten a chance to work on Wormhead, please do so. This project is only possible if everyone helps, and so if you can pitch in, please do. Despite the progress, we are still a little behind (and part of that is my fault-I hope to catch up in March), but it's nothing we can't recover from. This month is originally set for working on non-canon sources, Marvel, and I need one brave soul with the Holiday Special, some time, and a strong stomach to get the info from that if at all possible. However, don't let that stop you from contributing wherever you can and see fit. We also now have a bit of a sandbox to play with for the project: User:Atarumaster88/Wormhead Reloaded. I thank you all again for your commitment and am looking forward to a productive month. Cheers, Atarumaster88 Jedi Order (Talk page) 16:06, 18 January 2008 (UTC)

Continuing on Project Wormhead!
Hello again! It's April, and that means it's time for an update. I avoided doing this on April 1st because of all the craziness going on, but here we are. There's no denying that we're behind. I'm very busy in RL and juggling several wiki-related projects also, so I haven't been contributing as much either. That's okay, though, as long as we catch up (i.e. summer, as a lot of folks will be out of school and all that.) There's also a new way to contribute, and something that everyone can do. Since we don't have a timeline of appearance/sources yet, I started one on the second page. I didn't give it a very large list to start with, so fill in the gaps whenever you see them. If someone wants to start doing a similar segment for sources, that'd be great. I hope that we'll get back on course with the expansions soon, but regardless, let's see how April plays out. A belated update on Project Wormhead Project Wormhead!
Sorry about the delay in getting this out. I was on vacation at the beginning of the month and forgot about it. First, let me thank a number of people for their efforts on the project this past month: Greyman, for his work on the Marvel expansions. Jaina Solo added information from Star Wars Union, and a couple other people have made smaller edits as well. That's very encouraging and I thank all of you for your help. For the moment, I have to say that Luke isn't my priority at the moment-I'm working pretty hard on finishing Wraith Squadron, but once that's done, I will be back to work . In other news, Project Wormhead has now surpassed the actual Luke Skywalker article in content and will soon pass up Palpatine. It'll probably take us another month to pass up Mr. Horn, though. Anyway, keep up the good work. Atarumaster88 Jedi Order (Talk page) 18:08, 14 May 2008 (UTC)

Use of Janitor tools Edit

Jaymach, please keep Janitor policy in mind whenever you use your sysop tools at a particular wiki. Janitors are not Administrators. Wookieepedia is one of the largest Wikia wikis, with an established admin base, and deletions such as this are not your call to make. I know you are new at this, so please feel free to consult with myself, or one of the "senior" janitors if need be. Thanks. -- Manticore (talk) 14:57, 16 May 2008 (UTC)

The latest on Project Wormhead!
It's summer and that means, at least for me, that a lot of things need to happen over the next couple months if Luke is going to be a GA this year. I don't even entertain any notions of FA, because there's simply too many obscure/minor appearances and sources. I will be working heavily on the novels, and I know others are focusing on comics, games, and whatever those Missions things fall under. Thanks Xwing. For this month, I'm going to hammer out the rest of the Young Jedi Knights series first and then progress to the Bantam novels whenever I get to them. That means if you want to work on a Bantam novel, it probably should be done this month. ;-) I hope everyone enjoys their summer and finds a chance to participate. I definitely appreciate all the work that's been done so far. Cheers. Atarumaster88 Jedi Order (Talk page) 17:57, 3 June 2008 (UTC)

Ambig materialEdit

End of 2008 status report: WormieEdit

  • Just in case you're curious as to where this little project stands, here are the statistics:
  1. Total length: 309 kilobytes, which is 90 KB longer than the actual Luke Skywalker article. Does not include material on the second page.
  2. 110 sources crossed off the expansion list.
  3. Unique references: 143
  4. Net growth over 2008: 180 KB.

I realize that the original goal I set—which was to nominate Luke for GA by the end of 2008—was not accomplished. For one, I didn't know exactly how much stuff there is out there on Luke. Turns out, about half of all continuity. Two, I've been distracted with other, smaller projects, particularly over the past few months. However, I've not given up on this idea, and I'm hoping to get a lot more of it done in 2009! Cheers. Atarumaster88 Jedi Order (Talk page) 20:20, 12 January 2009 (UTC)

Duloks in the Fact Files? Edit

Hi, Jaymach. I've been referred to you by jSarek, whom I think I confused with you. Sorry! Here's the message: I seem to remember someone mentioning that you had all or most of the Star Wars Fact Files. Is that true? I recently expanded our article on Duloks, and I was wondering if they get mentioned in any of the fact files about Endor or about individual Ewoks. Would you mind taking a look? I can send you a list of likely files to check if you do in fact have these things. If not, sorry to bother you! ~ SavageBob 07:55, 14 March 2009 (UTC)

Sorry it's taken me so long to reply, but it's taken me a while to check through them all. I doubt there's anything worth adding to the Dulok article (though there is something else that I may be able to tell you about) but here's the pages that mention the Duloks (that I could find, at least) anyway; image shack dot U S )/img8/7738/dulok.jpg Endor - Lake Dwellings, image shack dot U S )/img17/952/dulok001.jpg Ewok Warriors, image shack dot U S )/img22/2869/dulok002.jpg Ewoks, image shack dot U S )/img22/3197/dulok003.jpg Wicket W. Cool, thanks! Actually, there are a few little tidbits here and there that I can integrate into the article. Just FYI, these are the FFs I thought might contain information on Duloks. You probably checked all of these anyway: Endor (Fact File 10); Endor - Bright Tree Village (FF 50); Logray (FF 84); Ewok hang glider (FF 94); Endor - Forests (FF 102); Endor - Wildlife (FF 109).

Saurin FFsEdit

Hey, Jaymach; it's me again. I'm working on a bunch of alien species articles, and, as usual, the Fact Files are proving to be the hardest sources to track down. If you have some time, would you mind taking a look for any mentions of Saurins? It might be under the species name, or maybe under the name of Hrchek Kal Fas, Sai'torr Kal Fas, or Gauron Nas Tal. Here are likely places they might be mentioned (sorry; it's a lot, since one is on Jabba's sail barge and the others are in the cantina):

  • Figrin D'an and the Modal Nodes (Fact File 38)
  • Tatooine Mos Eisley (Fact File 38)
  • Tatooine - Jabba's Palace (FF 40, 43)
  • Ree-Yees (FF 44, 52)
  • Jabba the Hutt (FF 49, 58, 64, 94, 119)
  • Jabba the Hutt's Sail Barge (FF 50)
  • Yarna d'al' Gargan (FF 64)
  • Salacious Crumb (FF 73)
  • The Max Rebo Band (FF 46, 50, 75)
  • Hutt Caravel (FF 80)
  • Tatooine - Starship Docking Bays (FF 84)

If you do, could you please check if this guy is mentioned there. Your help would be much appreciated. Thanks, QuiGonJinn Senate seal(Talk) 16:13, 6 July 2009 (UTC)

Episode I Adventures 8: Trouble on Tatooine and Star Wars Insider 41 Edit

Hi, Jaymach! One or more Morseerians apparently appear in Episode I Adventures 8: Trouble on Tatooine, a book you list as being part of your collection. Do you have any idea where they appear and in what capacity? This is the only source I haven't plumbed yet for the Morseerian page, so I'd appreciate any help you can offer! Thanks, ~ SavageBob 06:58, 22 July 2009 (UTC)

  • And while we're at it, do you have Star Wars Insider 41? I need the article "The Lost Cut of Star Wars" for an article I'm working on. I was hoping to avoid bugging you on this one too, but I tried someone else and he sent me to you (again). Would you be able to help me out in getting some info from it? I'd really appreciate any help! ~ SavageBob 07:18, 23 July 2009 (UTC)
    • Got the info from Insider 41. Cheers! ~ SavageBob 13:55, 21 August 2009 (UTC)

Thrawn lead picture Edit

As the primary author of the Battle of Bilbringi page, I think that picture version of Thrawn should be used as the Lead picture. It's better, and Thrawn was never that dark blue as the other one shows.

We can move the current one down below, and replace Big_Thrawn.jpg with it, and move the current Big_Thrawn to replace Thrawn.JPG.

What do you think?

Guide II Edit

Heya. Just like user QuiGonJinn, I need your help . Could I ask you to check the Episode I: The Phantom Menace: Prima's Official Strategy Guide for a mention of this guy? Just like QuiGonJin said, your help would be much appreciated : ). Thank you for your time. Kreivi Wolter 09:07, December 5, 2009 (UTC)

Thank you Edit

  • Not sure if this is your site or not, but if it is, thank you for having Star Wars Gamer 4 available. It had some helpful additions and sources for Rryatt Trail. Thanks again. OLIOSTER (talk) Imperial Emblem 12:32, January 4, 2010 (UTC)
    • I noticed on your user page you claim to have the complete collection of the Fact Files. I am looking for all information from number 42 regarding Kashyyyk, specifically the Rryatt Trail. OLIOSTER (talk) Imperial Emblem 04:13, January 5, 2010 (UTC)

Darth Culator (Talk) has awarded you a Wookiee Cookie!

Fact FilesEdit

If you can get them to me, I need Fact File 118, entry The Solo Twins, and any others that you know have info on Jacen Solo in them. Thanks. Havac 06:23, April 13, 2010 (UTC)

Episode II Adventures Edit

Hey Jaymach. I see that you have the Episode II adventure books, and I'm wondering if you can help me out. Jedi Kasra and I are looking to work on Bultar Swan's article, and I'm wondering if you recall anything about Swan's role in those books. I know that they're 100-page books with large print and game scenarios that mostly feature Anakin & Obi-Wan, so I figure that Bultar probably doesn't have a larger role than Rogue 1.5 indicates in his reviews. (of the first two), but do you happen to remember anything more? Cheers and thanks! Menkooroo 14:29, April 27, 2010 (UTC)

Just wondering… Edit

…was Koffi Arana ever in any Star Wars Fasct Files? If he was, would you please be able to e-mail me that info?--Jedi Kasra (comlink) 12:54, May 3, 2010 (UTC)

Devils Tower Edit

Hello there, I noticed you moved the page Devils tower a couple weeks ago and removed the conjecture tag. Do you have the strategy guide for Bounty Hunter? If so, is it possible to verify that it is supposed to have an apostrophe? Thank you. Corellian PremierAll along the watchtower 15:03, September 30, 2010 (UTC)

I do indeed have the guide and no, it's not supposed to have an apostrophe. The "T" in "tower" is also lower case in the guide, hence the move. —Jaymach Ral'Tir (talk) 22:06, September 30, 2010 (UTC)

French gaming magazines Edit

I decided to continue this conversation here rather than clog up the forums:

Just the names will be fine. I can make a really basic, like, one sentence-long article with just a name and where it's from. So if you see a species in any of the magazines we don't have articles on, just post it here, along with the source and I'll see what I can do. Flame Deity 19:55, December 18, 2010 (UTC) (who can't read French either)

Well you're free to look at most of the French magazines I have here but I don't know if you'll see much. I know the Graal magazines include a bunch of stuff from Cthulhu so there's bound to be new species in there. —Jaymach Ral'Tir (talk) 01:46, December 19, 2010 (UTC)

Backstab 7 Edit

Hey, Jaymach; saw that you added Backstab 7 to the Kathol sector appearances list. I assume that you have it, so is there any chance of obtaining a copy? It would be handy if its translated, but if not I can probably work on a basic translation through translation programs. Thanks in advance. - Cavalier OneFarStar(Squadron channel) 21:32, December 21, 2010 (UTC)

Esseles in Adventure Journal 7 Edit

Hey Jaymach! I've noticed you seem to have access to the Star Wars Adventure Journal 7. Could you please check whether the article Into the Core Worlds really says that the volcanic activity on Esseles ended in 10,000,000 BBY? Thanks! Imperators II(Talk) 12:24, March 25, 2011 (UTC)

  • OK, never mind, I've managed to get the issue myself. Imperators II(Talk) 20:01, April 23, 2011 (UTC)

I believe in Barn-Burners Edit

Hi. I was wondering if you had access to The Official Star Wars Fact File 12, specifically its section on Wookiees. If you do and you could tell me what it has to say on Factryns or Factryn meat pies. Thanks, even if you don't have it. NaruHina Talk Anakinsolo 16:12, April 27, 2011 (UTC)

HotCat edits now marked with bot flag Edit

Hi Jaymach, I noticed that you tried to change the user rights of our HotCat account. Because of that, I looked into the code of the bot and found out that I forgot to mark the edits by HotCat with the bot flag (&bot=1). This is why they kept appearing in the recent changes even though you gave HotCat bot status. They now should no longer appear, unless one explicitly specifies to display the bot edits. Have a nice day, C-3P0 11:53, July 20, 2011 (UTC)

896 BBY Edit

Hi Jaymach! Could you check Vader: The Ultimate Guide for any info on 896 BBY, Yoda's birthyaer? I need page numbers too. Darth Morrt 00:54, July 21, 2011 (UTC)

Hallowe'en Edit

Hey, Jaymach! I don't have access to the Clone Wars game, since my computer can't play it, but I'd like to update the Hallowe'en article, per the update you made to the wampa article. Can you tell me in what capacity the holiday appears in the game? Is it spelled the same way as the Ewok holiday, with the apostrophe? What information do you think the article needs to add? Thanks for any help! ~SavageBOB sig 20:15, November 9, 2011 (UTC)

Casus Belli RPG materialEdit

Hello, I would like to thank you for your help. As you can see, my english is not at his best and I let too many little mistakes in the text. Thanks for your attention and your corrections ! And thanks for the scans, it will be useful ! --Le Passant 23:26, December 21, 2011 (UTC)

"Homo sapiens" in the Official Fact Files? Edit

Hello, Jaymach! I was skimming my French edition of The Official Star Wars Fact File 56, and I found something most peculiar. In the article about the Outer Rim Territories, the term homo sapiens was used to describe the Humans! It looked so strange that I wanted to be sure it isn't just an oddity of the French version. Could you please tell me if one such thing appears in the original English edition? I herebey provide a direct translation of the context: "In turn, some of these species joined the Republic and changed the face of the Galactic Senate, not reserved exclusively for homo sapiens anymore."

Thanks in advance. --LelalMekha (talk) 09:27, July 5, 2012 (UTC)
