Barn-burner: Halfway home Edit

Hey there, Jinzler.

Have some Wookiee-ookiees.

I want to thank you for your efforts so far during Wookieepedia's first barn-burner. This is a not-so-personal message that's being sent out to every participant, but rest assured that everybody affiliated with this project deserves the highest praise. I've been very pleased with the number of users who have been writing, nominating, and reviewing Wookiees and Wookiee-related articles this month. Awesome job, all of you.

We're a little past the halfway mark, and at this point, I'd like to encourage everybody to focus their efforts on reviewing. Many users have been reviewing a lot already, and yes, you're absolutely welcome and encouraged to continue writing and nominating articles at this point. I just want to encourage everyone to take some time and help out others, which was one of the original purposes of this project. Additionally, the more reviewing that we all participate in, the more articles we can see promoted before the end of the month. Anything promoted after the end of May will still count as being part of the barn-burner, but it would be cool to get as much through as we can before then.

We have a list of current nominations for handy reference. If you feel inclined, find some that tickle your fancy and go nuts. Thanks again for all of your hard work. Cheers. Menkooroo 07:02, May 17, 2011 (UTC)

Ynian Edit

Are the Ynians real? I've read The New Rebellion, and no mention of a species named "Ynian" is made, at least not to my recollection. In addition, no other source backs this up either. Thon page got messed up somehow from your citation Edit

Manner of deathEdit

  • In the RPG adventure Jaws of the Sarlacc, Varth commands the Super Star Destroyer prototype during the Battle of Byss. During the battle, a group of Alderaanian Resistance starfighters fly inside the SSD superstructure and attempt to fire on its main reactor, to destroy the ship and Varth with it. Whether or not they succeed depends upon the actions of the players of the RPG adeventure, but the adventure conclusion assumes that the ship was destroyed and that Varth was killed, thus making his death canon. However, the adventure does outline a possibility for what can happen if the players are not successful in their task, stating that Varth then leaves in the SSD and the players have to hunt him down accross the galaxy. --Jinzler 13:07, October 8, 2011 (UTC)

  • There's not really much. In chapter two, directly after the events of Crosscurrent, Khedryn, Marr and Jaden drink some caf aboard the Junker while contemplating Relin's death. I'm guessing it was a picture from the Home One briefing in Return of the Jedi --- do you happen to know if Yutani, Palso Thern, or Keyan Farlander (see here and here) are in the picure too?   • You could probably use images of the briefing to tell whose legs are who --- File:B-Wing Pilots.jpg should be a good indicator. If not, don't feel like you need to watch the entire movie!!   • All it reveals is that Ra-Zyrth wielded a lanvarok. As he was just a normal Massassi who served under Sadow during the Great Hyperspace, it probabley isn't that notable a mention. Reconquest of Ord Radama Edit

Does it? I know that the titling of the subsection for it on the Great Galactic War article is down to creative flare (because I'm the one that wrote it), but I don't recall it being specifically named that in the Book of Sith. Hello <insert name here>! Thanks for joining WookieeProject: Warfare! As you can probably guess, our purpose is to get all of the information from The Essential Guide to Warfare into the wiki.

If you have the Guide, you can tell there's a great deal of work to be done. The Guide has introduced a great deal of new characters, events, ships, and other information, and it's gonna take some work to get it all in the wiki. A major issue that we have to resolve is the new exact dates for all of the conflicts that the Guide has introduced. Many of these conflicts had approximate dates before the Guide was released, and we have to remedy these articles to reflect the new information. If you have any questions or comments, head on over to the forums or let me know on my talk page. Take a look around the project page, and good luck editing!
