Wookieepedia aspires to be a reliable source for all Star Wars fans to read and draw information from, and as such, fan-created continuity and fan fiction are not allowed within our articles. All in-universe material must be attributable to a reliable, published source.

Please do not remove talk page and forum comments, as they are part of the public record. Remember that you should always sign your comments on talk and vote pages using four tildes, like this: ~~~~.

I hope you enjoy editing here and being a Wookieepedian! If you have any questions, see the help pages, add a question to the Senate Hall, visit our official IRC channel, or ask one of our administrators. May the Force be with you!

Copyrights Edit

Hello, and welcome to Wookieepedia! We appreciate your contributions to the Landing at Point Rain article, but we cannot accept copyrighted text or images borrowed from other web sites or printed material. Perhaps you would like to rewrite the article in your own words. Happy editing! —Master Jonathan(Jedi Council Chambers) 02:20, November 5, 2009 (UTC)

Kenobi Edit

It might not have been your intention, but your recent edit removed content from an article. Please be careful not to remove content from Wookieepedia without a valid reason, which you should specify in the edit summary or on the article's talk page. Thank you. Xd1358 Talk 16:46, January 29, 2010 (UTC)

I see; no harm done :-) Also, be careful when changing the main image, especially in big and important articles. Maybe you should bring up the matter on Kenobi's talk page? Xd1358 Talk 17:57, January 29, 2010 (UTC)

Unverified info Edit

Thank you for contributing to Wookieepedia! Please note that at least one of your recent additions added unverified information to a mainspace article. Additions to Wookieepedia's articles must be verifiable by a reliable source per our sourcing policy, and unverified information may be reverted or deleted. Continuing to add unverified information may lead to you being blocked from editing by an administrator. Thank you. —Master Jonathan New Jedi Order (Jedi Council Chambers) 03:29, September 15, 2010 (UTC)

Please source the information you add. Otherwise it may be considered speculation. Thank you. Korsa3 07:01, June 13, 2011 (UTC)

Season Five Edit

Please do not change the original order of episodes printed on The Clone Wars: Season Five article. It is being used to preserve what the order was prior to changes that were made later on. Thank you. CC7567 (talk) 19:10, December 1, 2012 (UTC)

Jedi Roster Edit

Hey, just wanted to let you know I removed your addition to Jedi Order, because the information was already listed in several categories. Happy editing. Supreme Emperor (talk) 03:53, September 22, 2013 (UTC)

Category Edit

Is "Aquilaeans" mentioned in that non canon source? Also, make sure they're actual "Aquilaeans" (if that word even exists in the source). Like Corellians from Corellia, if that makes any sense. JangFett (Talk) 22:05, September 30, 2013 (UTC)

Creating articles Edit

If you're going to create articles, then please add content within the article. Since you said The Star Wars 3 mentioned Han Solo (The Star Wars), please try to describe what the comic said in the article. Thanks. JangFett (Talk) 14:12, November 9, 2013 (UTC)

Warning Edit

Repeating past warnings, please do not create empty articles or sections. Unless you're willing to put forth the effort, don't make the article. It only creates work for others to clean up. Also, copy-pasting text from other articles is largely frowned upon here. Cade StupidRepublicEmblem-Traced-TORkit Calrayn 16:22, May 22, 2014 (UTC)

  • Also, I'm not quite sure what you're doing with those dates, but a) "22BBY" is not a date, and b) the new canon does not have a dating system, so there's absolutely no reason to include any dates in canon articles. Cade StupidRepublicEmblem-Traced-TORkit Calrayn 16:22, May 22, 2014 (UTC)

Editing articles Edit

Before you continue to edit articles, please familiarize yourself with our policies, especially the Manual of Style and the Layout Guide. Your edits in the Obi-Wan Kenobi article suggested that you haven't looked at either one yet, so please take the time to review each one individually. Thank you, JangFett (Talk) 16:55, May 22, 2014 (UTC)

Final warning Edit

This is your final warning. Please stop creating empty articles, or you will face administrative action. Cade StupidRepublicEmblem-Traced-TORkit Calrayn 14:20, May 26, 2014 (UTC)

Warnings Edit

While your edit is appreciated, the page you just edited currently has a template called Inuse at the top. This template means that someone is currently working on improving the article, and to avoid edit conflicts, no one other than the placer of the template should edit the page while the message is visible. Thank you for your cooperation. Please also note that a number of your recent additions added unverified information to a mainspace article. Additions to Wookieepedia's articles must be verifiable by a reliable source per our sourcing policy, and unverified information may be reverted or deleted. Continuing to add unverified information may lead to you being blocked from editing by an administrator. Thank you. Cade StupidRepublicEmblem-Traced-TORkit Calrayn 15:36, June 4, 2014 (UTC)

Jedi Master Edit

Hey Jkirk! Do you have a source for this? So far as I know, that's Legends-only material, unless I've forgotten something from The Clone Wars. - Brandon Rhea(talk) 16:08, June 4, 2014 (UTC)

New canon articles Edit

This is a general warning to you to be mindful of our policy for new canon articles. At this time, if a subject from the films does not have a canon name, you should not be creating an article for it. I've deleted or corrected a handful of your article creations that have not followed this policy. Please pay closer attention to the articles you decide to create. If something isn't named in the films or the Encyclopedia, don't create the article. Toprawa and Ralltiir (talk) 01:44, June 5, 2014 (UTC)

Inuse, again Edit

This is your second warning. Please respect the Inuse tag on articles. Thank you. Cade StupidRepublicEmblem-Traced-TORkit Calrayn 19:19, June 5, 2014 (UTC)

4th warning about inuseEdit

As you have already been told three times before, do not edit a page that someone has placed an inuse template on. Someone is working on the article which is why 1. there is a green template on it that says "As a courtesy, please avoid making minor edits to this page while this message is displayed, in order to avoid edit conflicts." and 2. There is a message on the editing window that says: "This article is actively undergoing a major edit. As a courtesy, please do not make edits to this article while this message is displayed, in order to avoid edit conflicts. If you wish to know who is working on the article and when the edit session began, please consult the edit history and the talk page." Trip391 (talk) 10:32, June 6, 2014 (UTC)

Page move Edit

Hi Jkirk. This action was incorrect; there are no sources that refer to "Kanan Jarrus' lightsaber." The Rebels Visual Guide introduces it only as "Kanan's lightsaber." I've asked an admin to revert your change. Let me know if you have any questions. Thanks! - Brandon Rhea(talk) 18:36, October 14, 2014 (UTC)

  • Can you also point to a canon source that says "Delta-7 Aethersprite-class light interceptor" instead of "Delta-7B Jedi starfighter"? Thanks! - Brandon Rhea(talk) 18:54, October 14, 2014 (UTC)

Canon article creation/expansionEdit

Even though you have already been told this, canon articles are not to be made by copy and pasting content from Legends articles, but simply removing Legends details, links, and sources. They must be written from scratch. While some information may be shared between Canon and Legends, copying from Legends is not always accurate, is poor editing practice (plagiarism is never allowed), and is not to be done. Trip391 (talk) 19:18, October 14, 2014 (UTC)

  • Similarly, you cannot just copy the Appearances section of an article and add /Canon to the links. Very few of the characters have names in NuCanon, and many of those who do do not have the same names as they do in Legends. Please do not try to add to Appearances sections again unless you're willing to check that the character is named in NuCanon and confirm what their name is. Thank you. Cade StupidRepublicEmblem-Traced-TORkit Calrayn 20:28, October 14, 2014 (UTC)
  • i've been checking it out and i also been going by what they were named in the end credits of the film. i think that's more canon than anything.

Jkirk8907 (talk) 20:33, October 14, 2014 (UTC)

    • Unless there's a NuCanon source that calls it that name, then you must tag battle articles as conjectural, so please stop just copying the Legends articles and gutting it of info. You actually have to look at the sources and the information. Cade StupidRepublicEmblem-Traced-TORkit Calrayn 21:51, October 24, 2014 (UTC)

Blocked Edit

Dialog-error You have been blocked from editing for three days for not respecting inuse tags, despite multiple warnings on the topic. To contest this block, please contact the blocking administrator with the reason you believe the block is unjustified. Cade StupidRepublicEmblem-Traced-TORkit Calrayn 18:27, October 17, 2014 (UTC)

Blocked Edit

Dialog-error You have been blocked from editing for 1 week for adding unverified information with false sourcing to Wookieepedia in the form of conjectural new canon subjects, a violation of Wookieepedia:Notability policy, for which you have already been warned. To contest this block, please contact the blocking administrator with the reason you believe the block is unjustified. Toprawa and Ralltiir (talk) 22:13, October 29, 2014 (UTC)

New movie Edit has updated its original scoop, saying that "Lucasfilm has confirmed to us that Episode VII will not be in the title, but it will be in the opening crawl." Adamwankenobi (talk) 19:03, November 6, 2014 (UTC)

Canon Even Piell Edit

As has already been noted, please do not simply create canon articles by copying Legends. It's not a good idea, and it will often get the article deleted and you might be blocked. Also, if the character name is the same in both canon and Legends, then there's no need to add "Legends=." Just use "Eras" and nothing else. ProfessorTofty (talk) 10:19, November 9, 2014 (UTC)

Also, please note the new italics formatting for the movie appearances, which I have edited in the Appearances section of the article. ProfessorTofty (talk) 10:23, November 9, 2014 (UTC)

Warning Edit

Consider this your final warning. Further attempts to add content to Canon articles through copypasting Legends content will be met with a long block. Please don't do it again. Thank you for your cooperation. 1358 (Talk) 17:55, November 9, 2014 (UTC)

Why did you remove the italicization of Scimitar here? As the proper name of a ship, it has to be italicized. Trip391 (talk) 22:03, November 12, 2014 (UTC)

Emergency Code Nine Thirteen Canon article Edit

Thank you for creating the canon Emergency Code Nine Thirteen article. However, please note the following:

  • When adding the appearances, please make sure they're formatted and italicized correctly.
  • Please do not leave an empty "Notes and references" section.
  • Do not simply copy over interlanguage links-- if you're creating the canon page, then the interlanguage needs to link to interlanguage canon pages, if they exist.

Please do not hesitate to ask if you have any questions. It's good to have people working on this stuff, but it needs to be done correctly. ProfessorTofty (talk) 10:58, November 20, 2014 (UTC)

Infoboxes Edit

When creating new articles, such as Ima-Gun Di, please make sure that the infobox still contains all parameters. Even if they're empty, they still need to be there. ProfessorTofty (talk) 09:32, November 25, 2014 (UTC)

Hello. The image you recently added was already existing on wookieepedia and, please, read our image policy because the name of the image you added wasn't really clear or, wasn't clear at all.--Emperor Jarjarkine MP-Mandalorian Senate Hall 14:25, November 29, 2014 (UTC)

Ky Narec Edit

Jkirk, I have warned you about this before, but please stop creating new articles with infoboxes that are missing parameters, as you have just recently done with Ky Narec. Even if the parameters are empty, they still need to be there. Additionally, the old Databank is not a source for canon articles, so please do not use it on them, only the new Databank that replaces the Encyclopedia. Please ask if you have any questions because if you keep getting warned about this stuff it's possible that an admin will block you again. ProfessorTofty (talk) 12:03, December 2, 2014 (UTC)

Warning Edit

Jkirk, you're starting to seriously try the patience of other users. This is not acceptable. You must provide sources, and you must specify where the name came from. You've been warned about this before, and yet this keeps happening. Secondly, this is both wrong and unnecessary. The Eras template will automatically detect a page at NAME/Canon, and the edit you made - if the template parameter had been lowercase as it should be - would simply have resulted in the tabs linking back to the Legends page. Please, reconsider your approach, or you may face administrative actions. Thank you. Cade StupidRepublicEmblem-Traced-TORkit Calrayn 16:13, December 10, 2014 (UTC)

Creating Canon articles, againEdit

I remember, and see other users as well, have told that you are not to copy and paste text from Legends articles to make Canon articles on the same subject. That is inaccurate and poor editing practice, as well as plagiarism, which is not allowed. If you are going to create a Canon article it has to be written from scratch (in your own words), and not copied from the Legends article. If you don't know what you are writing you can check the Legends articles' appearances and sources section, and read/watch the Canon sources that may be listed there so you know what to write in your own words without copying from Legends. Trip391 (talk) 09:25, December 14, 2014 (UTC)

Blocked Edit

Dialog-error You have been blocked from editing for creating blank articles, copy-pasting content, and creating articles without proper sourcing. You've been given several warnings on this topic already. I understand and appreciate your enthusiasm, but you must follow our rules and policies. I hope you heed the warnings after your block is up.. To contest this block, please contact the blocking administrator with the reason you believe the block is unjustified. Cade StupidRepublicEmblem-Traced-TORkit Calrayn 19:57, December 18, 2014 (UTC)

Thanks for the correction. I thought it had not been posted. --Marcuspearl (talk) 06:52, January 18, 2015 (UTC)

Redirects Edit

If creating a page such as XP-38 landspeeder, please keep in mind that articles marked as a redirect may actually being used as a redirect and if you create an article there, then you need to correct existing redirecting links. Currently, XP-38 landspeeder has quite a few such links, all of which now need to be corrected. ProfessorTofty (talk) 19:07, February 26, 2015 (UTC)

  • P.S.: Ideally this should be done before you create a new article at the page; otherwise, it should be done immediately afterwards. ProfessorTofty (talk) 19:09, February 26, 2015 (UTC)

RE:Ultimate Star WarsEdit

I got it from Ultimate Star Wars preview. The link is here. It's on below. Jaewade (talk) 11:23, March 2, 2015 (UTC)

Warning Edit

Jkirk, I'm noticing a troubling lack of effort in your recent articles, such as Home Base and others, where it seems like you're making them only to be the first one to do so. Stop this. Home Base, for example—no categories, no italicization in the body or infobox, no italicization of the title, no image tag, and the barest amount of information. If you're not willing to put forth any effort towards creating articles, then don't do so, and you will likely face administrative reprisal if this continues. Cade StupidRepublicEmblem-Traced-TORkit Calrayn 03:04, June 21, 2015 (UTC)

Italicizing appearancesEdit

Hey Jkirk. Just a note for future reference, but when adding a piece of media to the appearances section in which the entire title is italicized, just put the two apostrophes around it rather than typing the title twice, one with the apostrophes and one without. For example, last month you added Star Wars Battlefront to the appearances section of the Lambda-class T-4a shuttle. However, you put it as Star Wars Battlefront, when you could have simply done Star Wars Battlefront. Be sure to keep this in mind for the future; thanks! Cevan (talk) 20:14, July 2, 2015 (UTC)

Star Wars 7 workspace linkEdit

Hey Jkirk, when you have a moment, could you remove the link to Star Wars 7 (Marvel 2015) on your workspace page and replace it with the following: Star Wars 7: From the Journals of Old Ben Kenobi: "The Last of His Breed"

Thanks! Cevan (talk) 00:00, July 29, 2015 (UTC)

Blaster rifle Edit

I don't exactly what you thought you were doing with this page, but you've royally screwed up the tabbing, redirects, and templates. Where exactly are you getting these names, and why did you move the page at all? Please don't do this kind of thing without properly researching the sources and actually verifying what's supposed to be the title. This isn't the first time this kind of thing has happened. Cade StupidRepublicEmblem-Traced-TORkit Calrayn 13:06, August 13, 2015 (UTC)

Clone Wars in Lost StarsEdit

Hi there Jkirk. I was wondering if you could confirm or deny wether or not the Clone Wars and Order 66 actually appear in Lost Stars, or if they're mentioned only. The description made it seem like they'd appear, but at least in the sample of the book neither of them actually showed up. Since you have the actual book, think you could look this up when you get the chance? Thanks! Cevan (talk) 14:56, September 5, 2015 (UTC)

Clone Wars makes a reference in Lost Stars. so does the execution on geonosis and Mace Windu 15:30, September 5, 2015 (UTC)

  • So is it only mentioned – they don't actually show up? The appearances section currently says they do. Cevan (talk) 15:51, September 5, 2015 (UTC)
  • No they don't make an actual physical appearance. I wasn't the one who put that stuff there.

Jkirk8907 (talk) 15:54, September 5, 2015 (UTC)

Hi Jkirk. Just so you're aware for the future, on the pages you've been creating recently you keep using present tense, when you should instead be using past tense. Please keep this in mind if you make anymore pages. Thanks. Cevan (talk) 17:23, September 6, 2015 (UTC)

Ciena Ree during Endor, and the AnnihilatorEdit

Hi Jkirk. I was just wondering if Ciena Ree was a commanding officer during the Battle of Endor (if so, what was her rank; Captain?), as well as wether or not her Star Destroyer, the Inflictor, took part in the battle.

Also, I'm not sure if you were the one who added this or not, but currently the Lost Stars appearance section says Grand General Tagge's Super Star Destroyer, the Annihilator, appeared in the novel. Is this actually the case or does just a regular Star Destroyer also named the Annihilator appear? Thanks! Cevan (talk) 00:58, September 7, 2015 (UTC)

Ciena Ree was a Commander During the Battle of Endor. she was promoted to Captain following the battle as she was severely wounded. After she recovered, Grand Moff Randd promoted her and gave her command of the Inflictor. as For the Annihilator, It's never confirmed if this is Tagge's Annihilator. Hope I was helpful. Jkirk8907 (talk) 07:38, September 7, 2015 (UTC)

Inuse Edit

Did you not see the Inuse template? You've had numerous issues with this before; please respect the inuse. Cade StupidRepublicEmblem-Traced-TORkit Calrayn 16:12, December 2, 2015 (UTC)

Canon pages Edit

Hi Jkirk. Please don't create pages with /Canon anymore. To create a canon page that already has a Legends page, and the pages have the same name, please do the following:

  1. Move the Legends page to a /Legends name.
  2. Override the redirect to create the canon page.

An administrator will need to move Taylander shuttle/Canon to Taylander shuttle, so please keep this in mind in the future. Thanks! - Brandon Rhea(talk) 00:24, December 14, 2015 (UTC)

will do. thanks for the update. not used to this new format. Sorry about this btw. Jkirk8907 (talk) 00:26, December 14, 2015 (UTC)

Dosmit Ræh/Dosmit Raeh Edit

Hi. I'm curious why you moved Dosmit Ræh to Dosmit Raeh. She was identified as Dosmit Ræh in the TFA Visual Dictionary. - Brandon Rhea(talk) 02:23, January 27, 2016 (UTC)

I thought it was a typo of some sort. i haven't read Rey's survival guide. Sorry. Jkirk8907 (talk) 05:46, January 27, 2016 (UTC)

Luke Skywalker Edit

Hi, where did you get that Luke Skywalker image? If it was a torrent then that's not an acceptable upload, as illegal downloads are not fair use. - Brandon Rhea(talk) 21:21, March 23, 2016 (UTC)

Saber Edit

Didn't even notice Luke's saber was on the variant covers my bad, so apologies for taking it out the appearances --Lewisr (talk) 23:41, April 19, 2016 (UTC)

Undoing the Flight of the Harbinger wasn't my intention. I thought I noticed a grammar mistake and accidentally pressed "Undo" and then the "Enter" button, which automatically saves the page. Sorry! - LoLuX12 (walkietalkie) 22:03, April 21, 2016 (UTC)

Delete templatesEdit

Hi Jkirk—I was just curious as to why you removed the deletion tags on the pages Mission to Ryloth (New Republic) and Mission to Daxam IV. Did an admin or someone tell you it was all right to keep the articles? Cevan IMPpress (talk) 21:01, September 4, 2016 (UTC)

Comic titlesEdit

Per the latest mofference all the comic titles were changed by Cade, so I was just changing the comics to what they had been changed too --Lewisr (talk) 03:02, September 12, 2016 (UTC)

Shara Bey Edit

Hey. I reverted your edit to Shara Bey again. The reason for the removal of those categories is that they are both redundant to the more specific category Category:Green Squadron personnel. Since that category is on the page, the categories you mentioned are unnecessary. - Brandon Rhea(talk) 12:16, September 14, 2016 (UTC)

Re: Image Edit

You're welcome. I deleted the original image since it appeared to be bugged. CC7567 (talk) 08:25, September 18, 2016 (UTC)

RE:Tython Edit

The Beginner game gives no information on Tython other than its location on a map of the galaxy. Ayrehead02 (talk) 23:04, September 21, 2016 (UTC)
