Welcome KickAssJedi! Edit

Hello and welcome to Wookieepedia. I hope you like the place and choose to join our work. Here are a few good links for newcomers: right|180px

Remember that you should always sign your comments on talk and vote pages using four tildes, like this: ~~~~.

I hope you enjoy editing here and being a Wookieepedian! If you have any questions, see the help pages, add a question to the Senate Hall, visit our official IRC channel, or ask me on my talk page. May the Force be with you! ——Silly Dan (talk) 14:35, 10 March 2007 (UTC)

I would like to thank you for your contributions to Wookieepedia. It is recommended that you use the preview button before you save; this helps you find any errors you have made, and prevents clogging up recent changes and the page history. Thanks again. -- SFH 23:17, 10 March 2007 (UTC)

Hello. Please do not break the Wookieepedia:Three-revert rule, or you'll be banned. Thank you. --ATATatarismall.png 22:09, 11 March 2007 (UTC)

Preview buttonEdit

Hi there. When you are editing an article, it's a good idea to use the preview button (right next to the "save page" button at the bottom of the editing text box). This will allow you to see that page as it would be with your altered code without actually saving the edit. It is particularly useful if you are just changing the layout or other aesthetic aspects of a page. It also keeps from there being 19 edits of minor significance in a row on a single page, and keeps a single user from flooding the Recent Chanages page. Thanks very much for your contributions to wookieepedia. Wildyoda 14:50, 13 March 2007 (UTC)

Fanon warningEdit

Please do not add fanon to Wookieepedia. Gonk (Gonk!) 14:02, 13 July 2007 (UTC)

Its not fanon its the sith warship that attacks the ebon hawk at the begining of kotor2, Get your facts straight before making accusations.KickAssJedi 14:06, 13 July 2007 (UTC)

  • Nothing is known about that ship. In particular, it isn't known whether or not it was an Interdictor. - Sikon 15:55, 13 July 2007 (UTC)

3RR violation Edit

Never mind, false alarm, sorry for the confusion. —Silly Dan (talk) 22:17, 15 July 2007 (UTC)

Bane's master Edit

I'm trying to resolve this conflict about Revan's holocron being a master of Darth Bane or not. Everyone except for you says it should not be listed. It's not alive, for one thing. Why do you say it should be listed as a master of his? Thanks. Chack Jadson 11:11, 16 July 2007 (UTC)

  • Im not saying the holocron should be listed as a master, im saying that Revan should be listed a an indirect master. The part of the holocron that does the teaching, the GATEKEEPER is a sentient imprint of revans personality that is fully capeable of interacting with Bane. Bane himself calls revan his virtuall MASTER, also Bane is listead as revans indirect apprentice.KickAssJedi 12:57, 16 July 2007 (UTC)
    • True, but are any other articles about characters who were taught by holocrons (such as Palpatine) with infoboxes listing the holocron master as a master? I can't find any, but I could have missed some. Chack Jadson 20:14, 16 July 2007 (UTC)
      • The fact is, a master has to be alive to be listed as a master. How about I put something in Bts stating that Revan may be considered a master of his? That's a compromise. Chack Jadson 15:13, 17 July 2007 (UTC)
        • Thats a good idea, but instead of saying he is a possible master it would be better just to say that revans was a very large influence in banes sith career, and talk about how bane clearly idolizes him (just to avoid confusion).-KickAssJedi 17:24, 17 July 2007 (UTC)
          • Do you think it should go in Bts, or where? Chack Jadson 01:20, 18 July 2007 (UTC)
            • Maybe personality and traits.-KickAssJedi 08:29, 18 July 2007 (UTC)
              • I added it. Last line in P&T. Chack Jadson 11:43, 18 July 2007 (UTC)
                • Exellent.KickAssJedi 12:40, 18 July 2007 (UTC)
                  • Oh and by the way, can we just leave the eye color section as is? And I'm not accusing you of anything, though I realize it may seem that way. Chack Jadson 18:55, 18 July 2007 (UTC)
                    • Yeah sure, sorry about that I thought there was some policy about the latest apperence being the most canon. (Im still learning).-KickAssJedi 19:00, 18 July 2007 (UTC)
  • It's fine. Feel free to ask me if you have any questions. Chack Jadson 19:17, 18 July 2007 (UTC)

Darth Rivan's ApprenticeEdit

  • Please do not remove the {{sources}} template from the Darth Rivan's Apprentice. Darth Rivan's article is not a source. I don't doubt that the said apprentice exists, however you still need an official source(s) listed until the template can be removed. 20px TheOne&OnlyAdmirableAckbar' (It's A Trap!) 18:40, 18 July 2007 (UTC)
    • Sorry I only made the article because Rivan's article said he had an apprentice.-KickAssJedi 18:49, 18 July 2007 (UTC)

Uploading an Image. Edit

Hey, KickassJedi, I know you're good at uploading images, so could you upload an image of Darth Revan's action figure on his article?--Jedi Kasra 22:36, 7 August 2007 (UTC)

Yeah Ill do my best, im flattered you think im good at uploading images (dont know where you got that idea from, but sure) are you talking about the proto type, or is there a full color one realesed?.-KickAssJedi 07:23, 8 August 2007 (UTC)

  • Good job with the image of Revan. Is there any way, however, that we can get rid of the Toyfare logo on the image, as there isn't one on Grievous' action figure image. Also, can you upload a Darth Malak act. figure image, please? Thanks.--Jedi Kasra 21:04, 10 August 2007 (UTC)

Yeah sure, sorry about the logo theres not much to do apart from crop the image, do you know the source of the greivous image because if that doesnt have logo it stands to reason that they would have a revan and malak without the logo.-KickAssJedi 07:21, 11 August 2007 (UTC)

There you go Darth Malak with no logo, im still working on Revan with no logo.-KickAssJedi 08:18, 11 August 2007 (UTC)

  • I already saw it uploaded on your page. Good job. I'll put it on Malak's article shortly. Keep up thre good work. Oh, by the way, I've no idea what the source is for Grievous' image, the only thing I can say for sure to do is to go on his article and click on the image itself.--Jedi Kasra 18:12, 13 August 2007 (UTC)
    • Cool, the source for the greivous image is actually the same as the revan and malak one, its just that some of those images have logos and others dont so unfortunately revan will have to stay the way he is.-KickAssJedi 19:49, 13 August 2007 (UTC)
  • Hey, Captain KAJ. Could you please post the images of Revan and Malak's action figures on my talk page? Thanks!--Jedi Kasra 20:02, 7 December 2007 (UTC)

Re: Jack Nebulax Edit

Yeah, he was banned permanently. I don't know what he did, but he was on a very short leash. This was his last chance, and he did something to get him banned by an admin (Havac, I think). He might still be on the fanon wiki though. Chack Jadson (Talk) 14:10, 20 October 2007 (UTC)

  • Yeah, most people had problems with him. Ultimately, that's why he got banned. Chack Jadson (Talk) 14:28, 20 October 2007 (UTC)

More Images Edit

Hey, Captain KAJ. Do you think that you could upload images of Revan using the Mantle of the Force crystal in a lightsaber, than upload an image of him using the Heart of the Guardian in a lightsaber? It would be most appreciated {I somehow think that Bastila is using the Mantle here, but this image would conflict with the game, since the crystal was unavailabe for Revan tt buy until he found the last Star Map, without Bastila's help. Anyway, here is that image I was telling you about. If you can get the images, please post them on my talk page. Thanks!--Jedi Kasra 01:58, 6 November 2007 (UTC)

100 px

Hey, thanks for the image, KAJ! Is there anyway I could modify the image so it would zoom in on Revan and Juhani, I plan to put Juhani with the Heart of the Guardian on it's article, and Revan with the Mantle of the Force on it's article, as well. I'd appreciate it if you could help me with that. Nevertheless, great job!--Jedi Kasra 23:25, 8 November 2007 (UTC)

EGTTF imagesEdit

Before uploading any more images from The Essential Guide to the Force, you might want to have a look here. - JMAS 16:50, 16 November 2007 (UTC)

  • And please don't unanimously change the main image of an FA or any other prominent article without first discussing it on the article's talk page, especially if it is an inferior image. -- AdmirableAckbar [Talk] 16:53, 16 November 2007 (UTC)

Darth Caedus article name arguments Edit

Hey, KAJ, I know that we were all arguing pretty heatedly at the Jacen Solo name forums and the talk page for him, but now that the admins moved the page, it's a done deal. I was presenting mo points of view, as were you. I can get pretty defensive when it comes to my arguments, and I apologize if I offended you in anyway while talking about his name. No hard feelings?--Jedi Kasra 16:55, 5 May 2008 (UTC)

  • O.K. Would you be interested in joining the WookieeProject:Knights of the Old Republic?--Jedi Kasra 17:06, 5 May 2008 (UTC)
    • We focus on aticle dealing with the KotOR games and comics. There's plenty of things to do, we have articles that need sourcing, reviewing, expansion, articles that we need to get FA'ed ot re-FA'ed. Sourcing is one of the problems that we should be focusing on, Drewton and I are currently sourcing the Darth Malak article. The project leader is Goodwood, go to his talk page or contact him on the IRC, and just tell him you wanna join, and then go back to the project page and put your name in the Members section. Glad to have you aboard.--Jedi Kasra 17:27, 5 May 2008 (UTC)

Celeste MorneEdit

I would just like to inform you that the image on Celeste's page has been selected for a reason, and if you feel that it is unsatisfactory in any fashion, you can make your discrepancy known publicly on the article's nomination. Also, I would like to make you aware of our Three-revert-rule, which states that no editor is allowed to make three reversions to a single article within a twenty-four hour period. Failure to comply with this rule will definitely result in you being blocked from editing on the site, for a time period decided upon by the presiding administrator. I have restored the image to what the article's nomination objections would have it to be, but I must make you aware that if you choose to change it again, the proper channels will be notified and the applicable repercussions will be exacted. The current image has been chosen and agreed on by both the article's nominator and the objector. Again, if you disagree with what that choice is, you are more than welcome to discuss it on the GAN page. If you have any other concerns, you can always drop me a note as well. Thanks!Tommy(There are no Jedi here) 22:21, 5 June 2008 (UTC)

WP:KOTOR Reorg MeetingEdit

For those who wish to continue on the WP:KOTOR WookieeProject, there will be an informational and organizational meeting via IRC on this channel on Saturday, 19 July 2008 at 0:00 UTC (that's 8p.m. Eastern Time in North America). If you do not have ChatZilla or another chat program capable of accessing the channel, it is recommended that you get one ([1] is one option). If you are unable to attend the meeting for whatever reason, please leave a response on my talk page. Anyone who does not attend and does not leave their regrets will be dismissed from the project—this is for the health of the project, with nothing personal intended. Thank you and have a nice day.--Goodwood 20px (Alliance Intelligence) 23:06, 5 July 2008 (UTC)

wp:kotor Edit

did you attend the wp:kotor meeting? Because I missed it and I would like to know what our main focus in the project is. Thanks Devan2 19:39, 7 August 2008 (UTC)

Haazen Edit

I just wanted to advise you that when using quotes that are one line each between two people, they should be formatted as I have done to the ones you added to Haazen's article. Quotes that are between more than two people or are more than a single line each should be formatted dialogue-style. Otherwise, good job on the article expansion. If I can be of any assistance, please let me know.Tommy9281 20px (Peace is a lie) 09:43, 3 September 2008 (UTC)

Satanism Edit

Sorry to bother ya, man, but I noticed you openly admit to being a Satanist. You've definately gotten my respect. I'm not a Satanist myself (though not exactly a religious man in general; if anything, I'm athiest simply due to lack of a better term), but you don't see many people openly expressing such a thing, or at least I don't. I can't imagine many people would want to anyway, with all the criticisms and stereotypical assumptions made by those who don't fully understand the religion. // ~mikah~ 19:36, 5 September 2008 (UTC)

    • Ignorance always was a pet-peeve of mine. Who am I to judge another, especially because of their beliefs? At any rate, I really am glad (if not surprised) to know I could brighten a person's day, regardless of how slightly, with a comment like the one above. :) // ~mikah~ 20:55, 5 September 2008 (UTC)

What type of Satanist are you? Edit

Just out of curiosity, what type are you? I happen to be a LaVeyan myself. Gray Jedi 22:02, 5 September 2008 (UTC)

Darth Traya name change Edit

I put a forum on the consensus track where Wookieepedians can vote on the name change I've been proposing. You can access it here. I appreciate your vote.--Jedi Kasra (talk) 20:46, 6 November 2008 (UTC)

WookieeProject Knights of the Old Republic Edit

In light of recent events, I have been asked to take over the leadership of the KotOR WookieeProject. If you would like to continue working with this project, please leave me a message on my talk page within the week. Otherwise, I will assume that you have prior commitments that will keep you from being able to participate. Thanks. Cylka-talk- 08:31, 1 February 2009 (UTC)

Your current signature violates Wookieepedia's Signature Policy, which only allows for one link and you have 3. Please correct this. Thanks. - JMAS 20px Hey, it's me! 19:00, January 28, 2010 (UTC)
