The last Phantom Menace FAN passed today, which marked our third barn-burner as officially over. I want to thank you for doing such an excellent job of leading it. Despite the difficulties involved with writing so many articles that required infinite source- and adaptation-checking, we pumped out six FAs, thirteen GAs, and one CA. Congratulations on leading us to victory, and here's to three more successful barn burners over the next year! Menkooroo 23:06, March 30, 2012 (UTC)
Hi, Master Fred. Would you be able to support the nomination for the Star Wars PocketModel TCG official website to become friends with Wookieepedia? Official images from the SWPM site—like the current Star Wars CCG site—are used in many articles for references. These images, however, are not blocked by users not logged in, like the ones currently on the SWCCGCC site. Many images from the SWPM game are of units that have no other image provided for them anywhere else in the Star Wars universe. The game has even created new vehicles and vessels per George Lucas' notes on development proofs. Please consider voting in favor and thanks for your support in advance! —GethralkinHyperwave 13:48, April 4, 2012 (UTC)
Just in response (belated, sorry) to the comments posted under the nomination, I thought we had a link to this wiki posted on our Links page, but I was thinking of our associated unofficial non-profit website, SWPM Online. I will fix that in the next couple of days on the official site. In any case, one of our moderators who has been with our official website since practically Day 1, stlnprfln, will be at Celebration VI for four days. We asked him last week to assist at the Wookieepedia booth while he is there and he has volunteered to do so. In addition, we have a whole page of background info on the miniatures of vessels and vehicles that were used in the game that our website promoted. These contain links to all of their related articles on the Wookieepedia. Any that purchased the game could easily find out more information on the history of their miniatures by being redirected to Wookieepedia. So, as far as publicly endorsing the Star Wars wiki, I'd like to know what else we would need to do to satisfy your concerns. By the way, I noticed that SWCCG is not listed as a friend, so maybe I was looking at a different list when I saw their link. —GethralkinHyperwave 23:34, April 5, 2012 (UTC)
Thanks, that means a lot. I'm hoping to stick in there and eventually get the system down. Feel free to review it if you want, I think I'd be able to handle it! ;)- PrincessGLG 15:22, April 19, 2012 (UTC)
Hey, Fred. I'd like to direct your attention to this. If you could check it out when you get a chance, I would appreciate it. Thanks.—Cal Jedi(Personal Comm Channel) 18:12, June 1, 2012 (UTC)
A year ago today, WookieeProject Video Games was founded. Although it started out rather small, it quickly grew to be currently one of the most productive WookieeProjects. In that year, WookieeProject Video Games has seen seven Featured articles, thirty-four Good articles, and sixty-five Comprehensive articles passed, a very impressive amount especially for such a short time.
WP:VG was founded by Cal Jedi on July 8, 2011 with a mission "to improve...video game articles and bring them up to date" and also to "bring all related articles to Featured article status, Good article status, and Comprehensive article status." WP:VG has answered the call to the best of its ability. Five days after its formation, Exiledjedi joined the Project. More and more users began joining, until now, the project has eleven members. On July 26, 2011, the Project gained its first Comprehensive article, Unidentified Bakuran astromech droid, taken to status by Cal Jedi. Shortly thereafter, WP:VG's first Good article, J'Meeb Gumb, was taken to status by Exiledjedi on August 17, 2011. WP:VG's first Featured article, Battle of Kessel (0 ABY), was brought to status on October 19, 2011 by a guest nominator, Kilson.
WP:VG has associated with many other WookieeProjects—such as WookieeProject The Old Republic, WookieeProject Knights of the Old Republic, WookieeProject Galaxies, and others—helping each other bring articles to status. Overall, Wookieepedia's video game articles have drastically improved. While many have been taken to status, many more have been worked on and improved through the efforts of WP:VG's members.
There are many Star Wars video games. From the very first Star Wars game, Star Wars: The Empire Strikes Back, to the recently released Kinect Star Wars, WP:VG has been there to work on an area on Wookieepedia that needs much attention. With the many games that have been produced under the Star Wars title, a large amount of people have come to love Star Wars games. We have had some tremendous Star Wars games in the past, and as we look to the future, we can see many more promising Star Wars titles on the horizon. Star Wars: 1313 is just around the corner, and it will require much work. And that is not the end. There will be more Star Wars games in the future. WP:VG needs to be there to address their needs on Wookieepedia.
However, a WookieeProject is nothing without its members. An impressive amount of work has been done by Corellian Premier. He has done a lot of work taking care of the little details in video game articles—many of which would otherwise have been forgotten—and he has also done a fine job of doing a lot of "inside work" of WP:VG. Olioster has also been doing a tremendous job of late. He has recently nominated an impressive amount of articles from Star Wars Galaxies. Even though the game has been offline for quite some time now, he keeps carrying on in his work. Congratulations, though, go to all of WP:VG's members. Without the members, WP:VG would be nothing. Together, the members of WP:VG have done a wondeful work on Wookieepedia. WookieeProject Video Games has done a great job over the past year. May it continue to do even better in the years to come. May the Force be with the gamers!

Congrats, Fred. That project was epic in its scale. Keep 'em coming. Menkooroo (talk) 19:47, August 11, 2012 (UTC)
I realize this is way past the point, but I just discovered that a few stanzas from Fates briefly appear in the audiobooks of the Episode II and III novelizations (I don't know about Ep. I). Would this warrant a mention in the article? Corellian PremierAll along the watchtower 02:55, August 18, 2012 (UTC)
I haven't been around for some time, but you've crossed my mind during my absence. How have you been? Well I hope. I'm glad to see you're still around. :-)—Tommy9281 Saturday, October 13, 2012, 05:01 UTC
Hi, I just wanted to say thank you for your kind words in the forum. I expect to get some harsh words when giving bad news, that's part of my job... But it's always nice to have it acknowledged that I'm human too ;) Best wishes -- sannse @wikia (help forum | blog) 17:04, October 15, 2012 (UTC)
Nice to see I'm not the only person here who enjoys playing GB. I noticed on one of your sub pages said you had the games Prima guide, which I don't have so I may occasionally need to ask for info from it. Keep it up! Commander Code-8To say hi, press 42 21:04, October 26, 2012 (UTC)
Fred, I am extremely honored and humbled when anyone decides to give me an award, and I thank you tremendously. As I've said to others before, it's always my pleasure to help other users become the best editors and Wookieepedians they can be, and you've certainly grown by leaps and bounds since the time you started. As proud as I am to receive this award, I hope that you will also give yourself a giant pat on the back. It's your own skills as a writer and editor, and willingness and desire to learn and help improve our wiki, that has enabled me to do what I can to guide you. So congratulations to you as well. :) Toprawa and Ralltiir (talk) 19:57, November 6, 2012 (UTC)
Thanks for inviting me to join the Life Music wiki, however, I don't really have anything I'd be able to contribute, so I'm sorry to say I won't be joining. I do appreaciate you asking me though. Cheers. Commander Code-8To say hi, press 42 21:14, November 7, 2012 (UTC)
I made a quick mock-up. Wanna take a look and tell me what you think? Menkooroo (talk) 13:35, November 8, 2012 (UTC)
Some notes: I removed "Behind the scenes" and "Appearances" (obviously), and changed "Sources" to "Bibliography." What was it you wanted "External links" changed to again?
I also removed the non-canon and Tales sections, as I think that Into the Great Unknown proves that neither are needed --- the "Development" section outright can outright state if it's non-canon or Tales.
I originally gave musical themes some love by using the leading quote from Duel of the Fates, but it was too long and pushed off the right side of the screen. Actually, the two quotes I have there are still too long... can you suggest any shorter ones? Menkooroo (talk) 13:50, November 8, 2012 (UTC)
Looks great! External links was going to be "Further reading" I believe. And I'll include the music LG in with this point on the agenda if that's ok. I have family coming this weekend after my football game, but I'll try to make it for this since it's the first thing on the agenda. Once this is taken care of, I'll probably leave. :P MasterFred(Whatever) 16:53, November 8, 2012 (UTC)
Also, the "Further reading" section would contain offline materials as well as online ones. MasterFred(Whatever) 16:55, November 8, 2012 (UTC)
And another thing: The Bibliography section is technically unnecessary unless the Notes and references section is used the way it is here, which seems like too much of a hassle to me. I'd say perhaps no Bibliography. The Notes and references would contain all sources used, and the Further reading would contain all sources not used. Shouldn't need another section to list all the sources again. Thoughts? MasterFred(Whatever) 17:03, November 8, 2012 (UTC)
I just stumbled across this discussion while trying to compose notes for the Mofference. Menk, you can fix the text running off the right side of the screen by applying class="wrap" to the opening <pre> tag (i.e. <pre class="wrap">). —MJ—Jedi Council Chambers 18:02, November 9, 2012 (UTC)
Awesome, thanks. Re: The bibliography --- the original intent was to include things like Insider articles and other sources that mention the book/musical theme/person/whatever, and if they contain no new info, they won't be in "Notes and references"... Menkooroo (talk) 03:47, November 10, 2012 (UTC)
This user has been named a Wookiee Leader for their effective organization of a large-scale project or effort within Wookieepedia.
Hey Fred,
I should have left this on your talk page a long time ago, but hopefully late is better than never. Thanks for leading the Phantom Menace barn burner way back when. It's always great to see people stepping up to volunteer positions like this, and yours wasn't made any easier by being the first 'burner to stretch out over two months. Thanks again! Menkooroo (talk) 13:57, November 9, 2012 (UTC)
I've closed this TC thread as merge. Since you were the nominator, I leave it to you to complete the merge. Thanks. —MJ—Holocomm 01:07, November 10, 2012 (UTC)
Hi Fred. Can you check the GB Prima guide and see if the cities Otoh Mandassa, Umberbool City and Oxon City are mentioned. They're only mentioned in-game in the seventh level of the Gungan campaign, so I'm not sure they'll be mentioned but it's definetely worth checking anyway. Thanks for your time :) Commander Code-8To say hi, press 42 10:34, November 11, 2012 (UTC)

Hi Fred. For both of our GB projects, would you be able to completely handle any uploads in the future? Most of mine come out in not the greatest quality, so I think we should stick with your uploads. One thing I'd appreciate would be if you went through my uploads list on my contributions page and reupload/replace them in higher quality. Also, I'll probably constantly nag when I need a new image uploaded. Thanks :) Commander Code-8To say hi, press 42 21:19, November 21, 2012 (UTC)
PS. If you look at the article needing images part of WPVG's page there's a few GB ones there I put in a while ago, so that could help. Commander Code-8To say hi, press 42 21:19, November 21, 2012 (UTC)
Hey Fred. I'm working on Hoxie's article, and I was wondering if you could check if anything different about him's mentioned in GB's Prima guide, since he's a rather different case than the other bosses. Also thought I'd tell you that for the other boss articles like Hantic and Copek I've been assuming that their Prima guide mention is the same case as Tenko's article, since you put it there. Thanks. Commander Code-8To say hi, press 42 09:23, December 5, 2012 (UTC)
I need a few images for the Rogoe article, which I'm working on at the moment. All of these images are in the Gungan campaign. The first one is the Ankura Gungan in the first image in the intro to the second level, which I'm pretty certain is supposed to be Rogoe, and the other one I need is the first picture in the third level, of the Gungan Grand Army marching to Spearhead. I'll change the inuse template on the page to say you can edit it. Thanks :) Commander Code-8To say hi, press 42 11:59, December 14, 2012 (UTC)
Actually don't worry about the first one, there's no confirmation that that Gungan is actually Rogoe. Commander Code-8To say hi, press 42 03:38, December 16, 2012 (UTC)
Hey, take your time with the uploads, if you can't do it, I can always do one myself, though it mightn't be the best quality. :) Commander Code-8To say hi, press 42 00:31, December 22, 2012 (UTC)
Oh, if you can be bothered and you can still upload the one I crossed out, I might be able to use it as a possible appearance image in the Bts. Commander Code-8To say hi, press 42 00:31, December 22, 2012 (UTC)
Really sorry to do this, but I'm going to upload the screenshots myself since you seem to be having problems with it and I want to get the article done so it counts under the barn-burner. I've got a copy of the image which doesn't look too bad, so I'll just use that. If you're unable to upload pictures from the between level clips from GB, then I'll happily upload them in the future. Cheers. Commander Code-8To say hi, press 42 03:18, December 30, 2012 (UTC)
As of 0:00 UTC (8:00 PM EST), I have assumed responsibilities for leading this project, due to my predecessor Cylka's inactivity. Wherever she is, I wish her well in her endeavors, and should she come back, I will gladly turn over leadership back to her. Over the next few weeks, I look forward to reviewing more articles and also wish to get more KotOR-related projects off the ground, and look forward to moving forward to bettering this project and ultimately Wookieepedia. I'm writing this to you on behalf of the entire Inquisitorius. At our recent meeting, we discussed the current lack of non-INQs who are actively involved in reviewing on the FAN page, and we decided that the best solution was to simply appeal to people to review more. This first paragraph is being sent verbatim to a whole bunch of people, but the following one is being written specifically for you.
You're a good writer and reviewer, and I'd love to see you apply the latter skills to the FAN page more often. I know that you do review FANs every now and then, but hey, we're appealing to everyone to increase their productivity. We're trying to breathe new life into a somewhat-stagnant FAN page, and we'd love to have you join in the revolution. Cheers, and have a great day! Menkooroo (talk) 07:53, February 11, 2013 (UTC)

Hey Fred, Feels like its been a while. I have a couple of GB images I need from you. The first one is a picture of Boss Hoxie in the prison camp in the second Gungan level, which should go in the infobox of the Kidnapping of Boss Hoxie article, and the other one is a pciture of the droids who shoot Attichitcuk in the 4th Wookiee tutorial level, if you could put that in the Unidentified B1 battle droid (Alaris Prime) that'd be great, thanks.
