Hey, hi there! I'm new around here so I have a couple of questions. How can I edit semi-protected articles in order to add more sources and appearances? Unsigned comment by Plagueis327 (talk • contribs).

You have to wait until you are "autoconfirmed", which will occur your account reaches four days old. Note that additionally, some articles are also "supersemiprotected" through the abuse filter; on those you'll also need to have made 150 edits before you can edit them. Also, please sign your comments on talk and forum pages with ~~~~, which will automatically convert into a link to your userpage and a timestamp. Master Jonathan Holocomm Friday, December 23, 2011, 00:11 UTC

Than you so much for the advice! And yeah, sorry, I'll remember to sign my posts and comments :D Plagueis327 00:15, December 23, 2011 (UTC)

Yes please. I did not mean to make a mess, but Wookieepedia's sourcing directions were no very clear. Something was cited as 30 to Riptide, but it wasnt cited correctly. Could you fix it. 06:01, December 25, 2011 (UTC)

Already done! And don't worry, I'm new too! Plagueis327 06:09, December 25, 2011 (UTC)

Encyclopedia Edit

Hey Plagueis327. Please make a look to follow the Layout Guide when adding sources to articles—in particular, Encyclopedia entries always come after everything else, so the Book of Sith, even though it's unreleased, needs to go before them. I would suggest going through your recent edits to make sure all are in compliance with policy. Thanks, and Merry Christmas. :) CC7567 (talk) 22:49, December 25, 2011 (UTC)

Ok, I'll check it out, sorry about the mess, and Merry Christmas! :D Plagueis327 22:51, December 25, 2011 (UTC)

Hey again, Plagueis. I just wanted to advise you to make use of the "Preview" button to submit larger edits at a time, instead of making a series of minor edits. The reason is that an overabundance of edits to the same page tends to clog up the Recent Changes page and makes vandalism less easy to spot. We all make mistakes and have to make minor edits to correct them, but if you could avoid making an excess of edits where not needed, that would be great. Thanks. :) CC7567 (talk) 01:29, December 27, 2011 (UTC)

No problem, I'll bear that in mind, and sorry for the disturbance! :D Plagueis327 01:30, December 27, 2011 (UTC)

  • Hiya. Just wanted to let you know that per a recent CT Databank entries are not the same as the new Encyclopedia on source lists. They are to be treated as though they were released in September 2011 and sources more recent than that are to be listed under them with Enc entries after that. Also, please make an article for Family Tradition and update Operation: Knightfall for any new information therein (I can update it if you'll give me the info). The article can lose its status because of a redlink in the source list. NaruHina Talk Anakinsolo 04:28, December 29, 2011 (UTC)
    • Got it! And no problem, the mention of the event is too little. But I'll take care of it, and thx for the info! :D Plagueis327 14:52, December 29, 2011 (UTC)

Plagueis, I just want to make sure you know what using the Preview button means. The point of previewing your work before to submit it is to avoid making a series of small but numerous edits that can clog up the Recent Changes. Please try to preview and proofread your work more before submitting edits. Thanks. CC7567 (talk) 04:36, January 12, 2012 (UTC)

  • Plagueis…please, please take this to heart. If you take a look at the Recent Changes right now, you'll see that your thirty-two recent edits to Asajj Ventress' lightsabers are clogging up the page. If any vandalism were to happen right now, it would be exceedingly hard to spot. Please take this to heart. CC7567 (talk) 19:55, January 13, 2012 (UTC)
    • Sorry, the reason why sometimes my edits clog-up the page, is because my internet connection comes and goes. But I'll take it to the heart as you say. Plagueis327 19:56, January 13, 2012 (UTC)

Mortis Edit

Please know that Youtube is not a proper source for articles or for uploading images. Please have patience and wait for the release of the book before uploading poor quality images. Thanks, JangFett (Talk) 20:58, December 28, 2011 (UTC)

  • Sure, no problem. Sorry for the inconvenience! :D Plagueis327 20:59, December 28, 2011 (UTC)
    • Thanks for understanding. :) Once the book is released, higher quality images, plus more information about Mortis' appearance in the book, will be available. JangFett (Talk) 21:00, December 28, 2011 (UTC)
      • I already pre-ordered the book, so once it is released, I'll be pleased to help as much as possible! Plagueis327 21:02, December 28, 2011 (UTC)

Sources Edit

Hey Plagueis327, I wanted to let you know that you don't have to include a {{Mo}} tag in the sources section, since the sources are mentions anyway. Appropriate tags include, but not limited to, {{Imo}}, {{Po}}, and so on, depending on what the source states/shows. Hope this helps. JangFett (Talk) 06:15, January 1, 2012 (UTC)

  • Ok, sorry for that, and happy new year! :D Plagueis327 06:17, January 1, 2012 (UTC)
    • No worries. Just wanted to let you know this before you continue adding sources to articles. :) Happy New Years to you too as well. JangFett (Talk) 06:19, January 1, 2012 (UTC)
      • I think you need to understand something about sources that will help you in the future. If a source, itself, states something then it's fine to add something, but it must be clear and to the point. Indirect mentions are acceptable as well. I noticed you were placing "Jedi Path" in the Mortis article as a source because an interview mentioned that. Unless the source absolutely states those words, you cannot assume it is correct. In this case, "suspiciously like Mortis," as that interview states it, does not mean it is Mortis. We don't know if Mortis appeared in the source. The other article, I believe it was Ocean, was fine to have Jedi Path as a source since the interview and the source states it's partially visible. However, I still wouldn't add it unless the word is clear and comprehensive. Don't always trust interviews, unless they're discussing about true things that appear in a source. Even then, if they're discussing about future events, I would wait until the source is actually released, or if material is released before the official release, like the Darth Plagueis novel. :P Hope this helps. JangFett (Talk) 04:44, January 3, 2012 (UTC)
        • Ok, got it, and the reason why I'm adding so many Plagueis related sources is because I received an early copy of the book as part of a facebook contest :P just sayin' Plagueis327 04:46, January 3, 2012 (UTC)
          • Yes, that is fine too. :) JangFett (Talk) 04:48, January 3, 2012 (UTC)
            • Thx for understanding, all I want is to become a respectable user, just like you! :D Plagueis327 04:50, January 3, 2012 (UTC)
              • Keep up the good work, and adding in sources to articles will help others. :) JangFett (Talk) 05:04, January 3, 2012 (UTC)

TCW DVD collections Edit

Hey Plagueis. To be honest…there really doesn't seem to be a good reason to treat DVD collections as a source for every single subject that appears in every single republished episode. We don't treat trade paperback collections for comics or even Omnibus publications as sources unless they release new info that wasn't present in the original comic, and for the most part, that isn't the case for the DVD collections in regards to the episodes. If you have better reasoning on why they should be treated as sources, I'd be happy to hear them, but otherwise we shouldn't be going overboard with mass-listing DVD collections as sources. Thanks. CC7567 (talk) 06:32, January 2, 2012 (UTC)

Almost every single first CW season episode contains a documentary which speaks about almost everything present in the episode. That's why I'm adding it. However If you don't think that should be that way, I'd be happy to solve the problem, sorry for the inconvenience, it won't happen again. Plagueis327 16:17, January 2, 2012 (UTC)

  • Oh, that's fine—I understand about The Complete Season One, what with the episode commentaries that we don't see anymore. It's just that that doesn't seem to be the case for the second and third season, which was my main point earlier. I would just recommend looking at the DVD commentaries again and removing The Complete Season Two and The Complete Season Three from subjects that aren't mentioned in the commentaries. CC7567 (talk) 23:07, January 2, 2012 (UTC)

Ok, I'll take care of it, sorry about that, and thanks for point it out. Plagueis327 23:17, January 2, 2012 (UTC)

Please help Edit

Do u know where I can find a copy of the Wrath of Darth Maul to read? 23:51, January 2, 2012 (UTC)

Hey, Hi there! No, unfortunately I don't know where to get a copy of "The Wrath of Darth Maul", the place from where I get information regarding with the book is Google Books. Here's the link: And BTW, I would try to get the book in either Banes and Noble or Good luck, and thx for your question! :D Plagueis327 04:33, January 3, 2012 (UTC)

  • That is bizarre. And awesome! :3 Just as a note, you can shorten external links with single brackets like this: [ Bunch of words] That's just a single space between the link and text. Cheers. Stop Edit

Plagueis, this is not a source. Only official sources, such as source books, various articles, should be added to articles, not this. Please take a look at our canon policy before continuing to add nonsense sources to articles. JangFett (Talk) 01:56, January 4, 2012 (UTC)

Got it, I was already warned by other user. I'm terribly sorry about this. I really thought it was a source. I'll read your Canon Policy right away. Plagueis327 01:57, January 4, 2012 (UTC)

Haha You are quite the active editor. lol Could you try using the "Preview" button more so all your edits don't clog up the Recent Changes page. I know you want to get to 15,000 edits, but you'll make it eventually. lol It's just hard to keep up with the RC page when every five minutes it's filled with all new edits by one user. Thanks! :) MasterFredCommerce Guild(Whatever) 19:39, January 4, 2012 (UTC)

  • Hey, no problem! I'll try to slow down! And thx for the good advice! :D Plagueis327 19:40, January 4, 2012 (UTC)

Helo, please stop you edits from TEA and remove the others, you are making huge mistakes. You can't put TEA as a source for planets but only for star systems. And you can conclude about the planets affiliations only if the system is clearly represented on the maps. Hk 47 20:26, January 4, 2012 (UTC)

  • The reason why I conclude the affiliation of some planets with certain groups, is because those places are marked as being part of such organizations in TEA. Plagueis327 20:56, January 4, 2012 (UTC)
    • Where Caprioril is mentioned as part of the New Republic ? And why are you adding planet stub everywhere ? Hk 47 21:54, January 4, 2012 (UTC)
      • Uh, the article itself said that before I added the source. And I'm adding planet stub everywhere because all of those articles are too small. Plagueis327 21:57, January 4, 2012 (UTC)
        • Stop this imediatly, it's stupid. If the articles are small, it's simply because there isn't mmore informations. You can't do this if you are not sure there is more to say. And TEA doesn't mention Caprioril, so you invent a source? Stop this and remove your edits.Hk 47 22:05, January 4, 2012 (UTC)
          • Listen, there's no reason to offend each other's work? is it? Anyway, I didn't invent a source, the article said that the planet was affiliated to the New Republic before I edited it, so I thought that I could relate it with TEA, by adding a source. Anyway, if it's so annoying to you my "stub" editions, I'll remove 'em at once. Sorry for the inconvenience. Plagueis327 22:08, January 4, 2012 (UTC)
            • Ok tanks, and don't edit the articles anymore if you are not sure of what you do. Hk 47 22:27, January 4, 2012 (UTC)
              • Ok, thx, and sorry for all the trouble! I promise to make a better work! Plagueis327 22:30, January 4, 2012 (UTC)

Planet stub Edit

Hey there. Why are you removing {{Planet-stub}} from articles that are obviously planet stubs? Menkooroo 22:47, January 4, 2012 (UTC)

  • Oh my. So, there's a guy who told me that I should remove 'em all, and now you tell me to keep 'em. Ok, the reason why I'm removing 'em is because they can't be planet-stubs, because there's not enough information to improve 'em anyway. What should I do? Do I leave them with that category, or do I remove it? Plagueis327 22:50, January 4, 2012 (UTC)
    • Unless you can prove the articles' sources do not have enough information for the articles themselves, simply removing a ton of stub templates isn't proper. Plagueis, if you are confused about what you could accomplish here on Wookieepedia, you can take a look at this as a start. Throughout your talk page, many have warned you and discussed about sources and various things you have done incorrectly in the past. Try not to mass remove templates unless you can confirm the article doesn't need it. Expanding a stub, however, could be an option. JangFett (Talk) 22:59, January 4, 2012 (UTC)
      • Well, many of the planets I checked today are just mentioned in The Essential Atlas. Aside from that, there's just no more information about those planets; I understand that is considered a "stub", but I'm a little but confused here, How can they be stubs, if there's no information to change that? Plagueis327 23:01, January 4, 2012 (UTC)
        • If it's a TEA-created subject, then a stub template may not be needed. However, even though it's new, it could possibly have information about it in TEA itself. Although, yeah, that's not always the case. I also noticed most of the articles you've been removing templates from come from novels. If you're not sure, it's best to leave the template alone unless you can confirm it through a source yourself. I hope you're not judging an article by its size either. JangFett (Talk) 23:06, January 4, 2012 (UTC)
        • Articles like Clær could easily have more info on them. It's pretty difficult to write any complete planet article and have it be below 250 words --- the Dilonexa planets are clutch examples of that. Menkooroo 23:08, January 4, 2012 (UTC)
          • Y'know, you both are right, I'm not judging an article by its size, but by its sources and appearances, since almost every planet I've edited today are part or simply mentioned (just mentioned) in TEA, I followed what this guy told me. I've read the "to-do list on wookieepedia" and it seems that there are plenty of things that I could do to improve the site, so I'll stick to that. I apologize for all of the inconveniences, I'm working on it. Plagueis327 23:12, January 4, 2012 (UTC)
            • Plagueis, since you're new, you probably didn't know that you shouldn't also judge an appearance or source section by its size or expand an article through those alone. Many appearance/sources sections on the Wook can be incomplete, and at times nonexistent. Like you have done in the past, you can expand the source list, with adequate sources, as I explained to you yesterday. That's always helpful. Also, be sure to know to place the sources in publish date order. Appearances go in IU order via BBY/ABY system. I'm sure you know this, but at times, you were incorrect with certain placements of sources. If you're not sure, the best way to check a release date is by checking a source's article. Same goes with the appearances, via IU date. You should double check your removal of stub article edits to see what was incorrect. Hope this helps, Plagueis. JangFett (Talk) 23:19, January 4, 2012 (UTC)
              • Yeah, I know that I must always put in chronological order both appearances and sources. What I was confused about was the stub-thing, but I think I got it, Thx for the info, and your patience :D Plagueis327 23:24, January 4, 2012 (UTC)
                • It's me who told him to remove the planet-stub he added without verifying if there is more information to add. See previous subject on this page. Hk 47 23:26, January 4, 2012 (UTC)

Stub templates Edit

Hi Plagueis327, please place stub templates only in articles where you know that additional information exists that can be used to expand the article. Many short articles can't be expanded because there's no further information available. Those articles don't need a stub template. Regards, --Craven 19:03, January 5, 2012 (UTC)

I got the same problem yesterday. I'm trying to only edit articles that need the template, but I'll be more careful though. Plagueis327 19:04, January 5, 2012 (UTC)

  • Got it! And thx for your compliment!!! :D Plagueis327 01:29, January 7, 2012 (UTC)

Hi, just wanted to emphasize again, please only add the template to articles where you know that further information exists. Edits like [1], [2], [3] or [4] are unnecessary. And maybe you could use the preview button more often, it helps you find any errors you have made and prevents clogging up recent changes and the page history. Thanks again. --Craven 03:18, January 7, 2012 (UTC)

Well, some of those articles can be improved for sure. Unfortunately, I do not have the material to complement that :( And regarding the preview button, I'm using it as much as I can. Thx for your concern!! :D Plagueis327 03:21, January 7, 2012 (UTC)

  • As I discussed with you eariler, please do not tag every small article you come across. I haven't actually looked entirely, but there were many articles that did not need a stub tag. Please be more careful in the future. JangFett (Talk) 03:39, January 7, 2012 (UTC)

Sure Jang, no prob bro! :D Plagueis327 03:42, January 7, 2012 (UTC)

Hey, Plagueis! Welcome to WP:VG! Thank you for reviewing Rescue of Rahm Kota. However, I just thought I'd let you know that when you vote, you have to manually update the count. Speculation Edit

Hey Plagueis, I wanted to bring this to your attention since you're working on an article. This is speculation and it should be avoided in articles. I'm not sure if you have, but please take a look at WP:ATT and WP:NPOV. For encyclopedic writing, it's best to avoid "may have," "seemed to," "probably," "unknown," "could have," ect, which are generally speculative terms/phrases. If it's not in a source, it's better to not include it. :P JangFett (Talk) 08:44, January 10, 2012 (UTC)

  • Ok, I'll remove it from the article at one, thx for the advice! Plagueis327 14:19, January 10, 2012 (UTC)

FA's in Star Wars: Darth Plagueis Edit

Hello Plagueis327, as you have done a good job adding in appearances for Darth Plagueis, can you tell me if any of the FA's, such as Sio Bibble, Sim Aloo and Janus Greejatus, have any new information that needs to be added to their bios? If so, then I will make do whatever is necessary to make sure that somebody does update them. Thanks. Hanzo Hasashi 19:05, January 11, 2012 (UTC)

  • I´m actually waiting to get the novel (although I won a copy of the novel before its release date, it is incomplete however). Anyway, Sio Biblle appears a little bit, Sim Aloo is only mentioned, and Janus Greejatus, well, I don't remember anything about that guy, excepting that his name appeared in Amazon's excerpt of the novel, I'll let you know when I have more information about it. :P Plagueis327 20:55, January 11, 2012 (UTC) 14:55, January 11, 2012 (UTC)
    • Be sure to not add an update tag unless it's actually warranted. No new info = no update. Menkooroo 20:58, January 11, 2012 (UTC)
    • But there's little new info about those characters. Just not as much as it should, but there's info. Plagueis327 21:05, January 11, 2012 (UTC) 15:05, January 11, 2012 (UTC)

Re: Father (Mortis) Edit

Hi, nice to meet a new user who's willing to try himself in FA writing :) At a cursory glance, the article looks quite good. Just remember that you only need to link each item once upon its first mention. That means once in the intro, once in the infobox, and once in the main body. Also make sure that every term you introduce is given proper context, such as the Chosen One. And finally don't forget to read through the article carefully once you've done writing it in order to fix any grammar and punctuation issues (for example, the plural form of Jedi is also "Jedi," not "Jedis"). If you think that you need help with the latter, you may also ask one of the users here to do a copy-edit. Master Jonathan specializes in this field, and he's always willing to do great copy-edits. That's it. Good luck with your nomination. QuiGonJinn Senate seal(Talk) 12:26, January 12, 2012 (UTC)

  • Thx for responding! And I'll take care of everything you've mentioned. When I nominate the article, I'll make sure to let you know! Thank you again! :D Plagueis327 14:52, January 12, 2012 (UTC) 6:52, Jamuary 12, 2012 (UTC)

Question Edit

Are you just adding stub templates to short-looking articles turning up in Special:RandomPage, or do you actually have access to the source material? If you don't have that, I'd advise against adding the stub templates—a short article does not necessarily equal a stub. Thanks. 1358 (Talk) 17:46, January 12, 2012 (UTC)

  • I have access to some of the source material. Besides, some of those articles are pretty short, and need maintenance Plagueis327 17:48, January 12, 2012 (UTC) 9:48, January 12, 2012 (UTC)
    • If you have access to the source material, and know that the article can use more information, then you are free to add stub tags. But if you don't know, please don't. Remember edit count doesn't matter. Quality over quantity. It's much more appreciated if you expand and clean up the articles (and even promote them to some status!) than if you go around tagging numerous articles as stubs and bad quality. Cheers, 1358 (Talk) 17:52, January 12, 2012 (UTC)
      • Well, I'm actually trying to promote this article to FA status. Thx, for the advice, and once I have the time, I'll add more information, using the sources I have. Plagueis327 17:55, January 12, 2012 (UTC) 9:54, January 12, 2012 (UTC)
        • No problem. And one last thing: Could you remember to mark your small edits as minor? Under the edit summary field, tick the box "minor edit". Cheers, 1358 (Talk) 18:00, January 12, 2012 (UTC)
          • No problem, and thx for the advice!!!!! Plagueis327 18:02, January 12, 2012 (UTC)
            • I was referring to the small box saying "Mark as minor". Just below the edit summary :) 1358 (Talk) 18:03, January 12, 2012 (UTC)
              • The problem of being new, is that you don't know where everything is :P Plagueis327 18:05, January 12, 2012 (UTC)

I see that you've been advised about this already, so let me try another approach: Do you have access to the source of Spun-plast? If yes, let me know what additional information is missing from it. Thanks. ToRsO bOy 18:41, January 12, 2012 (UTC)

  • The article is quite small. Besides, I've seen that many other articles have that stub category. Plagueis327 18:43, January 12, 2012 (UTC)
    • Again, don't use the size of an article to determine whether it needs the stub template or not. Check the source materials so you can be sure. ToRsO bOy 18:54, January 12, 2012 (UTC)
      • Plagueis, didn't we talk about this? Please do not just guess without knowing first. JangFett (Talk) 19:14, January 12, 2012 (UTC)

Kindly stop adding stub templates to articles you judge to be short enough. Several of your recent additions have been reverted. If you do not know the source material, refrain from doing it. You don't have to edit just for the sake of getting a higher editcount. I acknowledge you are doing a big load of work, but please, heed the warnings. Thanks. 1358 (Talk) 22:51, January 12, 2012 (UTC)

  • Per your request, I'll do what you say. Plagueis327 22:53, January 12, 2012 (UTC)
    • Now I know you're guessing. I am disappointed, Plagueis, as we talked about this on several occasions. This edit is false, since the information is in there. I also had to remove several other stub tags you added in articles. Since I feel like a broken record by keep saying "please stop adding in improper stub tags," I am going to say this—knock it off. If getting 15k edits is your goal, do it constructively. Causing disruption is not good. Thank you, JangFett (Talk) 22:55, January 12, 2012 (UTC)
      • I apologize for the inconveniences then. Plagueis327 22:58, January 12, 2012 (UTC)
        • I also want to point out that you must properly source articles you create, and source images you upload as well. The new comic article and image you created/uploaded are both lacking proper sourcing. Stating the source in the edit summary is not the way to go. JangFett (Talk) 23:02, January 12, 2012 (UTC)
          • Yeah, I've noticed that, but as you know, I'm new around here. I'll do it better next time. Plagueis327 23:03, January 12, 2012 (UTC)
            • Thank you. JangFett (Talk) 23:04, January 12, 2012 (UTC)
              • You're welcome, and thank you very much for concerning about "useless" users like me :P Plagueis327 23:08, January 12, 2012 (UTC)

TCW appearances Edit

Please do not change "in newsreel only" comment tags in certain TCW articles. We do not treat that "newsreel" as a flash back all the time. Unless a source gives a timeline of episodes, such as the 2011 annual magazine, we cannot assume they are all flashbacks. Basically the way to determine is the confirmed order or episode order. Many "newsreel only" comments are suitable instead of {{flash}}. Thank you, JangFett (Talk) 00:37, January 13, 2012 (UTC)

  • Well, since the episode guide here indicates that those "Newsreel only appearances" are "Flashbacks", I thought it needed to be changed. Plagueis327 00:38, January 13, 2012 (UTC)
    • Not all should be treated as flashbacks. JangFett (Talk) 00:42, January 13, 2012 (UTC)
      • Ok, thx for the advice, It'll serve me as future reference :D Plagueis327 00:44, January 13, 2012 (UTC)
        • To get more of a helpful hint, you can take a look around at different articles, such as CC7567's written articles, to learn more about this. JangFett (Talk) 00:48, January 13, 2012 (UTC)
          • I've seen his works; he's quite impressive. Plagueis327 00:52, January 13, 2012 (UTC)

Please make sure you go back through your recent edits to make sure that all articles are properly formatted as Jang said above. Some of them still might not have been changed back yet. Thanks. CC7567 (talk) 04:43, January 13, 2012 (UTC)

  • You mean the ones regarding with TCW? Anyway, I'll do it right away! Plagueis327 04:44, January 13, 2012 (UTC)

Preview Edit

Please use preview when you are making numerous small edits to one page. Not only could your behavior be construed as edit boosting, but it also clogs up the Recent changes unneededly when the same changes could be made in just a couple of edits. Thanks. 1358 (Talk) 19:56, January 13, 2012 (UTC)

Warning Edit

Please stop adding unwarranted stub templates to articles you deem short enough. This is not a stub; nor is this. Considering you've been warned about this multiple times above, I see not other than solution than handing out a block for disruption if this behavior continues. Thank you for your cooperation. 1358 (Talk) 20:47, January 13, 2012 (UTC)

Dialog-error You have been blocked from editing for one week for constant failure to heed site policy. Your edits are a constant subject of reversion, and when you are warned of one thing, you either completely disregard the warning and continue doing it, or you end up doing something else violating site policy. Please take the time during which you are blocked to read all policies and making sure you are familiar with them. If your edits are reverted, you are most likely doing something wrong. To contest this block, please contact the blocking administrator with the reason you believe the block is unjustified. 1358 (Talk) 21:25, January 13, 2012 (UTC)

  • Even after you still do this, Plagueis this is not a stub. Enough with the stub tags. Thank you for your cooperation. JangFett (Talk) 03:44, January 21, 2012 (UTC)

Adas Edit

You recently added a new source to the article Adas. Does Book of Sith: Secrets from the Dark Side (real-life book) give any new information on Adas? If so, then the {{Update}} template needs to be added to the article.—Cal JediInfinite Empire (Personal Comm Channel) 21:42, January 20, 2012 (UTC)

  • Right. It's good to be back! :D Plagueis327 21:43, January 20, 2012 (UTC)

Featured article nominationsEdit

Please actualy read the article and try to find things to improve. I doubt you can read through a article thoroughly in a minute.---501st DogmaRepublic emblem(Comlink) 02:04, January 21, 2012 (UTC)

  • I've read CC-01/425, Hogrum Chalk, Vima, the Lanvarok and Vodo-Siosk Bass. The articles are very well written, so there's no need to imrpove 'em that much. Plagueis327 02:07, January 21, 2012 (UTC)

Book of the Sith: Gand planet reference Edit

Since I haven't yet seen that book available in my local book stores, what information on Gand does the book give? Any mention of the species itself that I could use for the Gand article? Thanks in advance! Trak Nar Ramble on 04:10, January 21, 2012 (UTC)

  • Nothing about the Gand, only the planet :P Plagueis327 04:11, January 21, 2012 (UTC)
    • Any useful information on the planet, then? Trak Nar Ramble on 04:13, January 21, 2012 (UTC)
      • Not sure, although I added the planet in the Book of Sith article, I'm not sure what kind of mention the planet receives. Sorry :( Plagueis327 04:16, January 21, 2012 (UTC)
        • Plagueis, if you added in the Book of Sith to the planet's article, I'm assuming you saw the information in the book. If not, are you just randomly inserting sources into articles again? JangFett (Talk) 04:24, January 21, 2012 (UTC)
          • I didn't add the planet to the article, someone else did it. That person lives in the UK, and according to him the book was released there today. He then proceeded to add the planets to the article, and I decided to help him source the articles involved with the book. Plagueis327 04:27, January 21, 2012 (UTC)
            • Do you have the book? If not, then did he tell you which planets are in the book or what? Something does not make sense here. What I'm worried about is irrelevant sources in articles. JangFett (Talk) 04:29, January 21, 2012 (UTC)
              • Who was this user so that I may ask him for Gand information? Trak Nar Ramble on 04:30, January 21, 2012 (UTC)
                • Let me see. Plagueis327 04:31, January 21, 2012 (UTC)
                  • His name is Jinzler. Thx for your kindness, and sorry I couldn't give you the information you needed personally!!!! Plagueis327 04:32, January 21, 2012 (UTC)
                    • Please answer my question, Plagueis. Thanks JangFett (Talk) 04:33, January 21, 2012 (UTC)
                      • I don't have the book yet. I only added the source to the articles involved with the article. Plagueis327 04:34, January 21, 2012 (UTC)
                        • How do you know for sure those articles are in the Book of Sith? Again, this is why I'm considering you're just randomly adding in sources without actually knowing. JangFett (Talk) 04:36, January 21, 2012 (UTC)
                          • The only reason why I'm adding that is because the guy who initially wrote that in the article has the book. I decided to help him to source the articles involved with the book. That's all. Plagueis327 04:39, January 21, 2012 (UTC)
                            • Again, I'm not understanding this—how do you know for sure those articles are in the Book of Sith? Could you please verify this with Jinzler? JangFett (Talk) 04:41, January 21, 2012 (UTC)
                              • I will personally contact him tomorrow. But for now, I need to get some rest. Good night! Plagueis327 04:43, January 21, 2012 (UTC)

I do appreciate your urge to add new information to the site, but when it comes down to it we need to cite sources that are more official than IMDB. IMDB isn't a source directly affiliated with Lucasfilm (which is what we need), so let's just be patient until one that's affiliated as such releases the information. Thanks. CC7567 (talk) 22:57, January 21, 2012 (UTC)

  • Okay. Anyway, can't wait for that episode. Just sayin' :P Plagueis327 22:58, January 21, 2012 (UTC)
    • Please avoid adding in IMDB as a source for the future TCW episode airdates for now. Thanks, JangFett (Talk) 21:21, February 3, 2012 (UTC)

The Secret Villian Edit

Star Wars The Clone Wars The Secret Villian, what exactly is it about? 22:39, January 22, 2012 (UTC)

  • Pretty much an adaptation of the "Nightsisters trilogy". Plagueis327 22:41, January 22, 2012 (UTC)

Your edits Edit

Please do not make edits wherein you only remove a line break. This is nothing but edit boosting, seeing as a) we have no policy on whether to have a line break before/after stub templates and b) the appearance remains the same. Thank you. 1358 (Talk) 23:05, January 22, 2012 (UTC)

  • Thought it would be good to change the "inner format".Plagueis327 23:08, January 22, 2012 (UTC)
    • I don't see why we would need to standardize something as unimportant as one line on a page. As I said, the line there doesn't affect the output. 1358 (Talk) 23:10, January 22, 2012 (UTC)
      • I see your point, and I'll follow your advice.Plagueis327 23:12, January 22, 2012 (UTC)

Preview button Edit

Hi, please use the Preview button when editing. This helps you avoid clogging up the Recent Changes and the page history as well as makes it look less like you simply trying to inflate your edit count. You don't need to make 17 edits in a 90 minute period to your userpage. You've already been advised about this twice already, please start to do so this time. Thanks, —NAYAYEN 00:38, January 23, 2012 (UTC)

  • Sorry, it won't happen again. Plagueis327 00:39, January 23, 2012 (UTC)
    • You are doing this again. You've made 29 edits to Midi-chlorian in the past 24 hours, in two blocks of many consecutive edits. For now the fourth time of being reminded, I ask that you please use the preview button. Be it a bad habit or ignorance, you are quite clearly trying boost your edit count which has no benefit and only disrupts the site by clogging the RCs. Thank you, —NAYAYEN 01:01, February 6, 2012 (UTC)
      • Sorry, it is just a bad habit. Thanks for reminding me. Plagueis327 01:04, February 6, 2012 (UTC)

Hey, Plagueis. Just wanted to let you know that once a Quote of the Day is archived, more votes should not be added, as you did for this one. If you want to vote for the QOTD, please use the active voting spot found here. Cheers.—Cal JediInfinite Empire (Personal Comm Channel) 16:33, January 23, 2012 (UTC)

  • This is so embarrassing, I thought I needed to vote there! Sorry, I promise it won't happen again. I feel me stupid :P Plagueis327 16:35, January 23, 2012 (UTC)
    • No worries. That's how you learn. I don't mean to keep hounding you about these things, but I thought you needed to know. Cheers.—Cal JediInfinite Empire (Personal Comm Channel) 16:38, January 23, 2012 (UTC)
      • No, it's Okay. I find it rather good that you're taking your time to instruct me in such matters. Thanks!! :D Plagueis327 16:40, January 23, 2012 (UTC)

Appearances Edit

You don't need to source appearance or sources sections, Plagueis. You have been doing this quite often and we do not actually do this. If something is officially confirmed, without the use of speculation or fan theory websites, you can go ahead and add something in the respective section without sourcing it. JangFett (Talk) 02:59, January 25, 2012 (UTC)

  • Well, at least you removed the (O BBY) tag. Plagueis327 03:01, January 25, 2012 (UTC)
    • Try not to speculate either, as you did in the Night Owl article and elsewhere. JangFett (Talk) 03:03, January 25, 2012 (UTC)
      • I did not speculate at all. Since Bo-Katan is a part of the organization, and she will appear in the fifth season of the series, I thought it was kinda confirmed. Anyway, it won't happen again. Plagueis327 03:04, January 25, 2012 (UTC)

Yuvernian Edit

This might be worth taking a look at. Cheers. Menkooroo 03:50, January 25, 2012 (UTC)

  • Indeed. Thank you for the info. Plagueis327 03:53, January 25, 2012 (UTC)

Appearances Edit

If there's only one appearance, with no sources, Plagueis, then it's safe to not include a {{1st}} tag before the appearance item. JangFett (Talk) 03:59, January 28, 2012 (UTC)

  • Ok. Plagueis327 04:02, January 28, 2012 (UTC)
  • Sorry to butt in, but interpreting the layout guide literally necessitates the inclusion of {{1st}} no matter what: "For a subject's first appearance in the saga (in order of publication, not in order of internal chronology), use the (First appearance) template." Menkooroo 04:03, January 28, 2012 (UTC)
    • See WP:S JangFett (Talk) 04:04, January 28, 2012 (UTC)
      • I'll take a look. Thank you! :D Plagueis327 04:07, January 28, 2012 (UTC)
      • It doesn't look like there's anything in there about "Appearances" sections... Were you thinking of the line "Articles with only one source or appearance may be sourced, although it is not required." ? That's referring to inserting references in the article itself. Menkooroo 04:11, January 28, 2012 (UTC)
        • See the CT as well, Menk. I'm not saying you shouldn't, but rather it's safe to not add it in. JangFett (Talk) 04:11, January 28, 2012 (UTC)
          • Ah, a CT! Brilliant. Can you link me to it? Menkooroo 04:12, January 28, 2012 (UTC)

Preview Edit

Hey Plagueis, please remember to preview your edits when making several in close succession. You are clogging up the RC with your repeated small edits. Cheers, 1358 (Talk) 20:05, February 6, 2012 (UTC)

  • Sorry. What can I say, old habits die hard. But I'll have it in mind. Plagueis327 20:10, February 6, 2012 (UTC)
    • Also don't forget to use the preview button, Plagueis. You're clogging up the RC page with your 20 small edits. Thanks, JangFett (Talk) 15:16, February 7, 2012 (UTC)
      • Sure. Plagueis327 16:22, February 7, 2012 (UTC)
        • I would recommend that you cut down or at least find a different quote related to the Father for the bts. That quote is pretty much about the Mortis episodes in general, not about the Father. JangFett (Talk) 15:51, February 8, 2012 (UTC)
          • Y'know, I've been thinking the same thing. I'll re-watch the DVD Featurette of the "Mortis Trilogy" to get something better. Plagueis327 18:27, February 8, 2012 (UTC)
            • Ok, I just added a quote said by Lucas himself. I hope it suits better :P Plagueis327 19:08, February 8, 2012 (UTC)

Warning Edit

Plagueis, please cut it out with adding in incorrect {{1st}} tags in appearances. This did not even appear in the novel, but was rather described. Likewise, I did catch you add another incorrect 1st for a Jedi Apprentice novel. I bet there's a lot more errors as well. Plagueis, like the stub tags, I'm going to ask you to please do not continue to add in incorrect tags, unless you know. Abusing the Special:Random link and mass adding in 1st and 1stm tags are not only disruptive, but they can be incorrect, as I just pointed out to you above. Please stop. JangFett (Talk) 22:25, February 9, 2012 (UTC)

  • As you wish. Plagueis327 22:26, February 9, 2012 (UTC)
    • Plagueis, I hope you realize that you shouldn't be doing disruptive things here. Take a good look at your talk page and you'll see that you've been warned and told about many different things. Since you have ignored my warnings, and others, in the past, I'm going to say again to stop adding in false 1st and 1stm tags in articles. JangFett (Talk) 22:30, February 9, 2012 (UTC)
      • Ok. Plagueis327 22:37, February 9, 2012 (UTC)
        • I'd like to remind you of Xd's earlier warning about making a edit wherein you simply remove a line break. There is absolutely no point in making such an edit, as Xd explained. —NAYAYEN 22:53, February 9, 2012 (UTC)
  • Plagueis, you've been warned about inserting false tags in articles. I shouldn't have to say anything else anymore. JangFett (Talk) 23:19, February 28, 2012 (UTC)

{{Ref}} Edit

Plagueis, please note that {{Ref}} should only be used for references that are within other templates, like infoboxes—otherwise, they should not be used in codified tables or non-templated sections. Please keep this in mind when you edit. Thank you. CC7567 (talk) 04:48, March 6, 2012 (UTC)

  • Okay Cap'n, I'll keep it in mind. Plagueis327 16:24, March 6, 2012 (UTC)

"Our time has come."
Hello <insert name here>! So, it's been a little over three months since The Old Republic was released, and WookieeProject: The Old Republic, which was founded almost two years ago now, was in dire need of a revamp and update. Participation has slumped, but it's time to get back on the wagon and refocus our efforts. So here are some stats: currently, we have ten Featured Articles, thirty-one Good Articles, and thirty-four Comprehensive Articles. Cal Jedi and Coruscantfan have both been doing great work lately, but we need more users to start undertaking projects from the game and related materials. Comprehensive articles are a great way to get started, so take a leap, pick an article, and get crackin'.

Beyond status articles, there are a few other ways you can help WP: TOR with it's primary goals. Those of you who have a current subscription to the game are welcome to visit our new guild page, where we're setting up in-game groups to help catalogue and confirm information here on Wookieepedia. Aside from that, our article lists can always use expansions. We have some fun new programs and challenges coming to WP:TOR in the future, so take a look at our news and discussion area for updates, and always remember to add any of your new status article successes to the news board.
If you have any questions or comments, head on over to the forums or let me know on my talk page. Take a look around the updated project page, and happy hunting! Darth Trayus(Trayus Academy) 09:49, March 11, 2012 (UTC)

Seventh preview warningEdit

This is getting beyond ridiculous now, Plagueis. It's questionable if edits like this are really needed on their own, not to mention your habit of making edits solely to remove a line break, but to do it over 10 edits in the space of merely 3 minutes is simply you trying to spam the Recent changes. If you have to be warned for making yet more pointless, disruptive edits then you will most likely find yourself being blocked from editing. I recommend that you try and make some actual content edits in future if you want to show that you can be of benefit to the community, rather than simply a disruption. nayayen★talk 20:47, March 12, 2012 (UTC)

  • I admit I greatly exaggerated there, and I apologize. Anyway, I won't be editing here that much anymore, sorry for the inconveniences I caused you. Plagueis327 21:35, March 12, 2012 (UTC)

Unverified Information Edit

Thank you for contributing to Wookieepedia! Please note that at least one of your recent additions added unverified information to a mainspace article. Additions to Wookieepedia's articles must be verifiable by a reliable source per our sourcing policy, and unverified information may be reverted or deleted. Continuing to add unverified information may lead to you being blocked from editing by an administrator. Thank you. JangFett (Talk) 23:40, March 12, 2012 (UTC)

  • Gosh, I didn't know I did such a thing! Sorry, I may be kinda repetitive, but I would never edit fanon! Thx for the warning Jang! Hey BTW, I'm actually trying to get "The Father" to an FA status, my question is, could you check it out and tell me what to do in order to improve the article a little more? Feel free to edit it if you want :D Plagueis327 00:08, March 13, 2012 (UTC)

"Unknown" Edit

Plagueis, please do not add "unknown" or any other speculative term in any IU article. Please see The Manual of Style. JangFett (Talk) 14:37, March 24, 2012 (UTC)

Father not in Plagueis Edit

What is the source for the indirect mention of Father (Mortis) in Darth Plagueis? Is it the following?

It had been theorized by Jedi and Sith alike that balance between the light and dark sides was actually under the guidance of a group of discorporate entities—the ones called the Celestials, perhaps—who had merged themselves with the Force thousands of generations earlier, and had continued to guide the fate of the galaxy ever since. In effect, a higher order of intermediaries, whose powers were beyond the understanding of mortal beings. But many Sith viewed the notion with disdain, for the theoretical existence of such a group had little bearing on the goal of making the Force subservient to the will of an enlightened elite.

If so, that cannot be counted as an indirect reference to this character, and the novel should be removed from the article's sources. This is a mention of "a group of discorporate entities," possibly the Celestials, and the text offers no further details that would allow for an identification with Father, Daughter, Son, or any other Family Member. --R5-X41238-G8-R3-3124-D2 19:18, March 24, 2012 (UTC)

  • You know, I believe you're right. I thought that the book was actually referencing the Ones :P Plagueis327 02:38, March 25, 2012 (UTC)
    • You can merge that legacy section with the previous section. It's too small to have its own and it looks awkward. JangFett (Talk) 13:51, March 29, 2012 (UTC)

An idea Edit

Hey there Plag, I thought of something you might like. You love Star Wars: Darth Plagueis, yes? Well, it seems Luceno loved incorporating a lot of preexistig characters that we've made Featured articles and not a whole lot of Wookieepedians that would work on them have the book. I was wondering if you might be interested in updating them for us. It would be an essential service, and one that could never be construed as spamming. I understand that you're busy with real life, but because they haven't been updated for more than a month, their FA statuses have been put on probation, so anything you could get done soon would be appreciated. The list of articles that were probed at the last INQ meeting is here and a lot of them need Plagueis love. NaruHina Talk Anakinsolo 02:26, March 26, 2012 (UTC)

  • I'll check 'em out. Thanks for considering me a viable option! :D Plagueis327 00:55, March 27, 2012 (UTC)

WP:VG group project Edit

Hey, Plagueis. Recently, a discussion was brought up in one of the forums for WP:VG. The topic, seen here, is a discussion of a group project. Corellian Premier originally came up with the idea, and he thought perhaps the Battlefront series would be a good one to work on. Anyway, if you have any thoughts and/or are interested in helping out, feel free to join in on the discussion, and we'll see what we can do with this. Cheers!—Cal JediInfinite Empire (Personal Comm Channel) 15:42, March 28, 2012 (UTC)

  • Sounds good to me. How will this work? Are you going to split up topics regarding with the Battlefront games to different users? Or are we free to choose which articles to expand and improve? Let me know when you have the chance :P Plagueis327 18:15, March 28, 2012 (UTC)
    • We're discussing what exactly we're going to do here. Several ideas have been thrown out, and when we figure out which one we're going to go with, we can get started. Feel free to throw in your own ideas there, and be sure to keep track of the forum so you can see when we're ready to get started. Cheers!—Cal JediInfinite Empire (Personal Comm Channel) 14:41, March 29, 2012 (UTC)
      • NP, I'll check it out! :D Plagueis327 15:28, March 29, 2012 (UTC)

Preview, againEdit

Plagueis, you have been told many times about this. Take a look at your two now four edits here: [5] (ignore my mistake with the revert). You don't need two edits to remove a link and then place it back in the article in two separate edits. I am not going to say that you should be more cautious because you tend to forget the many discussions here. JangFett (Talk) 19:47, March 30, 2012 (UTC)

  • I'm sorry, I committed a mistake, just like you. Sorry Plagueis327 19:49, March 30, 2012 (UTC)
    • My mistake was an accident. I wasn't ignoring warnings, however. JangFett (Talk) 19:50, March 30, 2012 (UTC)
      • Mine was an accident as well, and by the way, I wasn't trying to ignore warnings. Plagueis327 19:57, March 30, 2012 (UTC)
        • Editing four times doesn't seem like it was an accident, but rather you forgot. Please be more careful in the future. JangFett (Talk) 19:58, March 30, 2012 (UTC)

I'll have to reinforce this warning. Please make sure to use the preview button, and do not hurry up with your edits. Quality over quantity. This shouldn't take three edits; also please avoid making null edits. Thanks. 1358 (Talk) 20:08, March 30, 2012 (UTC)

Beware the Sith Edit

Is there any new info in Beware the Sith on Operation: Knightfall or the Showdown on Coruscant? NaruHina Talk Anakinsolo 16:10, April 2, 2012 (UTC)

  • The book only shows pictures of both events. There's nothing new :P Plagueis327 19:36, April 2, 2012 (UTC)

Preview warning Edit

Plagueis, by now you should know to properly use the preview button. If you take a look at these edits, you will see that you did not even need to make two separate edits to correct a source placement. This is the ninth time someone has warned you about a preview, including an administrator. Please stop. JangFett (Talk) 20:29, April 2, 2012 (UTC)

  • Sorry, again. Plagueis327 20:32, April 2, 2012 (UTC)
    • I'm sure you're going to say sorry for this too. Plagueis if you keep this up, an administrator will block you. JangFett (Talk) 21:26, April 2, 2012 (UTC)
      • That was a mistake, I didn't see the dash in the middle. Plagueis327 21:27, April 2, 2012 (UTC)
        • Which is why you must use the preview button before submitting edits. Before you even submit an edit, you should definitely look at your edits. JangFett (Talk) 21:28, April 2, 2012 (UTC)

(Mentioned only) in "Sources" section Edit

Hey there, Plagueis! Just wanted to tell you that technically all the entries in the "Sources" section of articles (except those that are (Indirect mention only) and (Picture only), of course) are (Mentioned only), so there's really no point in adding the tag there. Cheers, Imperators II(Talk) 20:47, April 2, 2012 (UTC)

  • Dude! I didn't know that! Let me correct it! Thx for the advice! :D Plagueis327 21:01, April 2, 2012 (UTC)

20 ABY in Beware the Sith Edit

Hey Plagueis! You added Beware the Sith to the "Sources" section of the article on 20 ABY. It would be great if you could tell me what the book says about the year or alternatively add the info yourself, because currently the article has only two sources listed (one of which actually offers no info on the year) and no unique info at all. It would be much appreciated. Cheers, Imperators II(Talk) 12:24, April 3, 2012 (UTC)

  • The book only mentions the date, nothing more :P Plagueis327 15:46, April 3, 2012 (UTC)

Warfare redirects Edit

Plagueis, I've noticed that you've been placing Warfare links to various articles, but please be aware that it's The Essential Guide to Warfare, not Essential Guide to Warfare. The latter is a redirect to the former. Thanks. JangFett (Talk) 22:31, April 3, 2012 (UTC)

  • Sure, sorry :P Plagueis327 22:42, April 3, 2012 (UTC)

Beware the Sith information for Zuckuss and 4-LOM Edit

Since I had noticed that Zuckuss and 4-LOM are in it, what information, if any, is there? Anything new? Anything old and reworded that has already been covered a half a dozen times? Thanks. Trak Nar Ramble on 02:39, April 4, 2012 (UTC)

  • Nope, they're just mentioned and briefly described using the same old info we all know :P Plagueis327 04:30, April 4, 2012 (UTC)
    • Okay, thanks. Next time, if you happen to come across other sources that they appear in and have no new info, just tack "No new info" in your edit summary, so I won't have to come bug you for nothing. :P Trak Nar Ramble on 04:33, April 4, 2012 (UTC)
      • Sorry for that :P Okay, I won't forget it! :D Plagueis327 04:34, April 4, 2012 (UTC)

Kinect Star Wars Edit

Plagueis, do you know for sure that Kinect Star Wars is canon? While it is appreciated that you are updating the appearance lists with it, let's wait until we find out if it's canon. Because of the minigames presented in the game, it would either be ambiguously canon or non. Let's wait until it's confirmed first. Thanks, JangFett (Talk) 23:38, April 5, 2012 (UTC)

  • Well, the mini-games ain't canon for sure, but there's kind of a storyline that takes place right after Episode I. Plagueis327 23:40, April 5, 2012 (UTC)
    • Then it's safe to just wait until it's confirmed first. JangFett (Talk) 23:41, April 5, 2012 (UTC)
      • The storyline does not conflict with anything that has been released before. I don't see why I shouldn't add Kinect Star Wars to the appearances. Plagueis327 23:42, April 5, 2012 (UTC)
        • If you have facebook, you can ask Chee if it's canon or not, and I'm referring to the entire game. Basically right now, you're only speculating based on the given information. JangFett (Talk) 23:44, April 5, 2012 (UTC)
          • I understand your point. But the game has some brand-new canon stuff too! Either canon or not, we should add it to the appearances list in a separate way then. I mean, canon from non-canon, just like with the Lego Star Wars games. Plagueis327 23:46, April 5, 2012 (UTC)
            • Then use {{Am}} for now. I would recommend that you either ask Chee or wait until we know for sure. JangFett (Talk) 23:50, April 5, 2012 (UTC)
              • I'm gonna use {{Am}}. Thx for the advice! :D Plagueis327 23:52, April 5, 2012 (UTC)
                • Be sure to go back and change your other edits. As for the storyline you mentioned, basically if you look at this, it seems to be an alternate version of the OT. Whether it's safe to by this review or not, it does not seem like it would be proper canon, but we just don't know for sure yet. JangFett (Talk) 23:58, April 5, 2012 (UTC)
                  • Okay, I'll fix my previous editions. Plagueis327 00:02, April 6, 2012 (UTC)

Preview Warning Edit

Plagueis, you even said that you'll stop, but it seems that you are just ignoring the multiple warnings—15 by my count—that are directed toward using the preview button. This is unacceptable, Plagueis, and by now, you should know to use the preview button. Due to the amount of times I, others, and an administrator, warned you about this preview button, I will not accept any apology from you. If you continue to ignore your warnings, an administrator will block you. Please cut it out. JangFett (Talk) 15:53, April 6, 2012 (UTC)

Preview warning Edit

Plagueis, I think by now, even after a block, you should know how to properly utilize the preview button. This and This could have all been taken care of in one edit. Enough man. JangFett (Talk) 19:42, April 20, 2012 (UTC)*

Infoboxes Edit

Plagueis, if an article infobox has all parameters, then please avoid this. The double brackets must remain within the last parameter, as it is proper formatting. Thanks, JangFett (Talk) 05:35, April 23, 2012 (UTC)

  • I won't forget that. And thank you. Plagueis327 04:35, April 24, 2012 (UTC)

1stm/1st Edit

Plagueis, you've been warned about this in the past. Do not assume or add in incorrect {{1stm}} or (First appearance) templates in articles. A link showing up first, or in a certain order, does not indicate whether or not it is the first appearance or first mention. Unless you know, do not assume. JangFett (Talk) 13:05, May 9, 2012 (UTC)

Lego Star Wars stop motion videosEdit

Hi. I have a new account on Youtube and I was wondering if you'd like to take look at it. I have Lego custom how-to videos and stop motion videos. My channel name is LJ1138. Please write back if you like what you see!-- 15:35, May 10, 2012 (UTC)

      • Thx for the advice, I just noticed about that. Plagueis327 19:45, May 10, 2012 (UTC)

Databank entries Edit

From what I've observed (and since no one else has ever told me otherwise), Databank entries always go on the bottom of the Sources list. This is a consistent trend that I've noticed on status articles, and if I recall, I even inquired about this and was told that Databank entries always go on the bottom of the list.

Also, I reverted your edits on Zuckuss and Gand as while there wasn't any actual new Gand info for the Gand article, there was new information for Zuckuss, and I needed to keep track of that for the Gand sources. Those notes were mainly for my benefit, so I can tell at a quick glance what source was for what, even if information from that source isn't even included in the Gand article (it's in Zuckuss's article, however, I just never changed my notation there). Please leave the notes as they are, as while they may seem arbitrary to some, they are useful to others. Thanks. Trak Nar Ramble on 05:17, May 11, 2012 (UTC)

  • Hey, Trak. Per This CT, anything published after September 12, 2011, goes below databank entries in the Sources list. Cheers. Menkooroo 05:28, May 11, 2012 (UTC)
    • I must have missed that CT, then. Either way... sources fixed and please don't change my notations. Thanks. Trak Nar Ramble on 05:35, May 11, 2012 (UTC)
      • Sorry, I thought the notations weren't necessary. Plagueis327 05:36, May 11, 2012 (UTC)

Edit summaryEdit

Plagueis, this edit summary was rather rude and uncalled for. That was a good faith edit by an inexperienced anon editor, and the fact that your edit count is incredibly high does not give you the right to be rude to anons or other editors. Edit summaries such as these are a bad reflection upon the Wook, and please try to keep opinions that may be offensive to others to yourself. Cade Calrayn StupidRepublicEmblem-Traced-TORkit 23:58, May 17, 2012 (UTC)

  • Sorry, didn't mean to be rude, but I think that the note he wrote before that was a little but unnecessary. Just a reminder, just because I do something that is not right, does not give you the right to correct me about it. It was a mistake that I won't do again. I hope it's understood. Plagueis327 00:08, May 18, 2012 (UTC)
    • If you did something wrong, he has the right to call you out on it. End of story. IFYLOFD (Floyd's crib) 00:17, May 18, 2012 (UTC)
      • Yes you're quite right. Plagueis327 00:24, May 18, 2012 (UTC)

Darth Naga Sadow?Edit

His name isn't darth Naga Sadow, its Naga Sadow. Nobody used that title in that era (Marka Ragnos, Ludo Kressh, Shar Dakhan). I'm just telling you this because you put it on your favourite characters list but I don't have the authority/privilege/right to edit your user page. Mattto123 03:52, May 20, 2012 (UTC)

  • Read The Essential Guide to Warfare, and you'll see what I'm talking about. Plagueis327 03:53, May 20, 2012 (UTC)
    • His actual name is Naga Sadow, he was *sometimes known as* Darth Naga Sadow, but really, you can even check the naming policy or Naga Sadow's page for that. But, it's not my opinion that counts on your user page and you can do whatever you like. Also, you appear to like editing articles about dates (eg. 5000 BBY) Mattto123 03:57, May 20, 2012 (UTC)
      • If I may intervene, during his Facebook chat with Fry and the fans, Urquhart said: "Yes, there was a specific intention with using the name Darth Naga Sadow. It’s meant to indicate Sadow’s ambition, and his status as “supreme viceroy” (i.e. top Dark Lord). The context needed a title that wasn’t Sith’ari. But it doesn’t necessarily mean that it’s a contemporary usage." (Source here)--LelalMekha 08:13, May 20, 2012 (UTC)
        • Sorry for taking so long to respond, but after pondering your response for some time I came to the conclusion that you are correct; perhaps the tile was not used simultaneously, or in Naga Sadow's lifetime. It is quite possible that it was ambition, like you said, or some kind of person who lived after Sadow and mistakenly referred to him as such, but as the Essential Guide to Warfare does specifically mention Darth Naga Sadow, I think the former (your opinion) may very well be correct. Mattto123 10:57, May 24, 2012 (UTC)

The Ultimate Visual Guide Edit

Hey Plagueis. I'm always continually appreciative of your contributions in terms of mass-source adding, but when you're doing stuff like that, please, please pay attention to the details. Automatically adding a source to the bottom of a Sources list (like Star Wars: The Ultimate Visual Guide: Updated and Expanded) is not proper etiquette, however recent the source may be. I've been here for several years, so I do get your urge to make the site as comprehensive as possible, but that should not be done at the cost of detail—or, in this case, policy, as the Layout Guide mandates the chronological ordering of Sources. It only takes a few seconds to check where a source should go in terms of an existing Sources list, so please slow down and take that time to ensure that no one will have to follow you and fix errors that are easy to avoid. I would further, strongly suggest, as I've done in the past, that you go through your recent edits to check for any potential errors like some already found. Thank you. CC7567 (talk) 05:59, May 20, 2012 (UTC)

  • Okay, I'll make sure to follow your advice, and sorry for the inconveniences I caused. Plagueis327 23:49, May 20, 2012 (UTC)

Hello Plagueis, FA Romeo Treblanc is currently on probation, among other things because it needs a Plagueis update. Would you be able to update it before the next Inqmoot? Hanzo Hasashi 00:33, May 21, 2012 (UTC)

  • If I have the time, I will, I'm not promising anything, anyway, thank you for the offer! :D Plagueis327 00:34, May 21, 2012 (UTC)

Charal and Ultimate Visual Guide Edit

Hello, Plagueis. I see you've been adding Star Wars: The Ultimate Visual Guide: Updated and Expanded as a new source on many articles, which is great. Apparently, it includes references to obscure Endor-related characters such as Teek. I'm currently working on the Charal article. Is she mentioned in the the new guide, peradventure? Cheers.--LelalMekha 08:54, May 21, 2012 (UTC)

  • I'm going to check that out, If something pops up, I'll let ya know. Cheers. Plagueis327 16:04, May 21, 2012 (UTC)
    • Why, thank you. I don't expect any new info, but if she is mentioned in the Guide, I should include the reference for the sake of exhaustivity. --LelalMekha 22:52, May 21, 2012 (UTC)
      • I've checked, and unfortunately, I came empty-handed, but I'll keep searching though, just in case. Plagueis327 22:53, May 21, 2012 (UTC)

Aliens in The Ultimate Visual Guide Edit

Hey, Plagueis! Thanks for adding The Ultimate Visual Guide to the sources list of tons of articles! You have added it to Teek (species), Nosaurian, Zygerrian, Wampa, midi-chlorian, and Yam'rii—all FAs. Do you think there is anything from the Visual Guide that these articles need to mention? Also, the guide mentions Jarael; does it also picture her, or mention that she is an Arkanian Offshoot? If there is anything pertinent on any of these, page numbers would also be highly appreciated. :) Thanks! ~SavageBOB sig 18:38, May 23, 2012 (UTC)

  • Hi! Unfortunately, the guide is quite superficial, and only mention those aliens as a way to illustrate a point. However, if I find a new source, you will be the first one to know! Sorry for my delayed answer! :D Plagueis327 05:36, May 24, 2012 (UTC)

Shadow Conspiracy preview Edit

Hey Plagueis. For the preview of Shadow Conspiracy, I was wondering how you were getting past page 43—I can't view past it, and the book isn't text-searchable either. Thanks. CC7567 (talk) 23:51, July 5, 2012 (UTC)

  • Unfortunately, the book, for some reason, was complete yesterday, and today there's only a few chapters left (including the end of the book). I can only search from pages 1-11 and 141-184. By the way, have you read the ending? It's quite unexpected! Anyway, if I find a way to trespass page 43, I'll let you know. Have a nice day :D Plagueis327 (talk) 00:10, July 6, 2012 (UTC)

            • Do you think I should add that spoiler already? Or you think it's too soon? Plagueis327 (talk) 00:27, July 6, 2012 (UTC)
              • Erm…I think it's too soon. We'll have to see what to do with the info from the preview. What else do you remember from the book, though? (Email would be preferable, but here is fine I guess. :P) CC7567 (talk) 01:12, July 6, 2012 (UTC)
                • Could you give me your e-mail or facebook account then? My e-mail is, and my facebook is add me so i can tell you everything I remember from the book. I don't want to spoiler anyone else before the right time! :D Plagueis327 (talk) 04:04, July 6, 2012 (UTC)

WP:VG one year anniversary Edit

1313 preview
WookieeProject Video Games has completed its first year!
A year ago today, WookieeProject Video Games was founded. Although it started out rather small, it quickly grew to be currently one of the most productive WookieeProjects. In that year, WookieeProject Video Games has seen seven Featured articles, thirty-four Good articles, and sixty-five Comprehensive articles passed, a very impressive amount especially for such a short time.

WP:VG was founded by Cal Jedi on July 8, 2011 with a mission "to game articles and bring them up to date" and also to "bring all related articles to Featured article status, Good article status, and Comprehensive article status." WP:VG has answered the call to the best of its ability. Five days after its formation, Exiledjedi joined the Project. More and more users began joining, until now, the project has eleven members. On July 26, 2011, the Project gained its first Comprehensive article, Unidentified Bakuran astromech droid, taken to status by Cal Jedi. Shortly thereafter, WP:VG's first Good article, J'Meeb Gumb, was taken to status by Exiledjedi on August 17, 2011. WP:VG's first Featured article, Battle of Kessel (0 ABY), was brought to status on October 19, 2011 by a guest nominator, Kilson.

WP:VG has associated with many other WookieeProjects—such as WookieeProject The Old Republic, WookieeProject Knights of the Old Republic, WookieeProject Galaxies, and others—helping each other bring articles to status. Overall, Wookieepedia's video game articles have drastically improved. While many have been taken to status, many more have been worked on and improved through the efforts of WP:VG's members.

There are many Star Wars video games. From the very first Star Wars game, Star Wars: The Empire Strikes Back, to the recently released Kinect Star Wars, WP:VG has been there to work on an area on Wookieepedia that needs much attention. With the many games that have been produced under the Star Wars title, a large amount of people have come to love Star Wars games. We have had some tremendous Star Wars games in the past, and as we look to the future, we can see many more promising Star Wars titles on the horizon. Star Wars: 1313 is just around the corner, and it will require much work. And that is not the end. There will be more Star Wars games in the future. WP:VG needs to be there to address their needs on Wookieepedia.

However, a WookieeProject is nothing without its members. An impressive amount of work has been done by Corellian Premier. He has done a lot of work taking care of the little details in video game articles—many of which would otherwise have been forgotten—and he has also done a fine job of doing a lot of "inside work" of WP:VG. Olioster has also been doing a tremendous job of late. He has recently nominated an impressive amount of articles from Star Wars Galaxies. Even though the game has been offline for quite some time now, he keeps carrying on in his work. Congratulations, though, go to all of WP:VG's members. Without the members, WP:VG would be nothing. Together, the members of WP:VG have done a wondeful work on Wookieepedia. WookieeProject Video Games has done a great job over the past year. May it continue to do even better in the years to come. May the Force be with the gamers!

Ultimate Visuage Guide Check Edit

Heya Plag. I see you have the new Star Wars: The Ultimate Visual Guide: Updated and Expanded. Could you check what is says on Darth Nihilus for me, please? NaruHina Talk Anakinsolo 20:25, July 8, 2012 (UTC)

  • Nevermind. I've been told there's nothing new. NaruHina Talk Anakinsolo 20:44, July 8, 2012 (UTC)
    • You got it :P Plagueis327 (talk) 23:27, July 8, 2012 (UTC)
      • Actually, I'm blind and there's another source you'd be even better for checking. What does Darth Plagueis have to say about him? NaruHina Talk Anakinsolo 00:31, July 9, 2012 (UTC)
        • He's only mentioned. There's really no new info about him in the novel. Are you trying to bring Nihilus to FA status? just askin' :P Plagueis327 (talk) 00:55, July 9, 2012 (UTC)
          • What's the context of the mention? If he was an influence upon another character's actions, that would be notable as well. I've been working on him on and off for three years now. It was a project I undertook as a parallel to the woman who brought Visas Marr to FA status. NaruHina Talk Anakinsolo 01:35, July 9, 2012 (UTC)

Hello! Hey, you seem like an experienced type of guy, I just added the 'colors' section on Mando'a, and I do not know how to properly source it. I got it from Karen Travis's Blog download. Any hope you could help me figure this out? --Aryn Tarra (talk) 19:30, July 28, 2012 (UTC)

  • Did you get this from the Mando'a dictionary? If so, I can. Plagueis327 (talk) 19:38, July 28, 2012 (UTC)

Genarra Edit

Hi Plagueis, I was wondering if you could help me; you recently added the Darth Plagueis novel to the "Appearances" list of the Genarra article, and I was wondering if you could let me know where in the novel she is mentioned. I have been trying to maintain the Genarra page and I just want to check whether the book adds any new information on her. Thanks. --Jinzler (talk) 13:05, August 1, 2012 (UTC)

  • Palpatine mentions that the Republic has had "Jedi as Supreme Chancellors." Since Genarra fits that description, I thought that mention could be interpreted as an indirect mention. There's no new info at all.

Ultimate Visual Guide Edit

Plagueis, are you actually checking Star Wars: The Ultimate Visual Guide: Updated and Expanded for mentions of battles and events, or are you only adding them to Sources lists based on Forum:SH:TCW Timeline 2012? Please make sure that you're checking the sourcebook for explicit mentions in the source text. The SH forum that I just linked you to only lists the battles for placement, not because all of the events are listed in the book, which they aren't—the ones that are mentioned are even bolded. Please be careful in the future. CC7567 (talk) 02:17, August 13, 2012 (UTC)

  • Sorry CC, I thought they were mentioned. I'll be more careful next time. And thx for the advice. Plagueis327 (talk) 02:19, August 13, 2012 (UTC)

Thanks for your appreciation Edit

Wow, I don't knew that my work could be recognised as good by a Wookieepedian; I mean, you are masters of Star Wars and your articles are awesome, but I thought it could be very hard to make such a good article. I'm working Darth Angral too, but I don't have the Deceived novel so I have a problem. I don't have Fatal Alliance too, so if I finish the Sith Emperor's article FA information will not be there. I would be very grateful if you pass me that info. Ah, and excuse me if I have a poor English. Thanks for your appreciation (and the link too) ;)--Ben Darklighter (talk) 13:03, August 21, 2012 (UTC)

  • Hey, don't worry man! And by the way, I have read both Fatal Alliance and Deceived, and the Emperor is only mentioned, but I'll check the books again. Keep up the good work! And your English is great pal! :D Plagueis327 (talk) 23:17, August 21, 2012 (UTC)

Maladian Edit

As you were the one that added The Essential Reader's Companion to the sources list for the Maladians, could you check and see if there is any new info regarding them. Thanks, 501st dogma(talk) 21:17, September 6, 2012 (UTC)

  • Their appearance was leaked during CVI in an image depicting Plagueis killing some Maladian assassins. Once the book is released, I'll post the new info. Plagueis327 (talk) 22:48, September 6, 2012 (UTC)
    • Thanks. Is there a way to get hold of the picture? 501st dogma(talk) 23:12, September 6, 2012 (UTC)
      • This is quite odd, I remember someone uploaded the picture already *sighs* anyway, I found another link: Plagueis327 (talk) 00:16, September 7, 2012 (UTC)
        • I found the picture on the Wook: [[File:Attack on Plagueis.jpg]]. Thanks for giving the link though, as I had to attempt to upload the picture before the Wook said we already had it. Thanks again, 501st dogma(talk) 18:14, September 7, 2012 (UTC)
          • You're welcome. :P Plagueis327 (talk) 22:50, September 7, 2012 (UTC)
            • When you get the time, could you check for stuff related to the Maladians? Thanks in advance for your time, 501st dogma(talk) 22:13, October 4, 2012 (UTC)
              • Sure, no problem :P Plagueis327 (talk) 22:25, October 4, 2012 (UTC)
                • While you're at it, could you see what pertains to 11-4D from the book? Thanks a lot. :) 501st dogma(talk) 19:49, October 6, 2012 (UTC)
                  • There's no new info :P Plagueis327 (talk) 19:55, October 6, 2012 (UTC)
                    • For 11-4D? That's good. Thanks, 501st dogma(talk) 20:02, October 6, 2012 (UTC)
                      • I've found that no new info is in the Companion for the Maladians. Thanks anyway, 501st dogma(talk) 00:12, October 27, 2012 (UTC)

Tagge Edit

I am not seeing Cassio Tagge anywhere in the Book of Sith. On what page does he appear in or he is mentioned? I am going to you because you added this :P JangFett (Talk) 23:48, September 16, 2012 (UTC)

  • Do you remember a little diagram detailing Palpatine's political plans during the Clone Wars? Tagge's name is in it. Plagueis327 (talk) 01:03, September 17, 2012 (UTC)
    • No I don't see it. Is it part of the comments? I can hardly read most of them. JangFett (Talk) 02:28, September 17, 2012 (UTC)

Help Edit

Hi Plagueis. I'm currently prepping the First Battle of Harte Secur article for GA status, and I know that Harte Secur is mentioned in the short story End Game, which you have, so I was wondering if you could tell me why Harte Secur is mentioned and if you wanted to you could type the sentance its mentioned in up. Thanks--Commander Code-8 (talk) 11:00, September 17, 2012 (UTC)

  • Hey there! I'm sorry for not answering you in time. The city is only mentioned once in the short story as part of the captured cities of the Trade Federation. The first battle of Hartle Secur is indirectly mentioned there! I hope this helps :D Plagueis327 (talk) 04:19, September 21, 2012 (UTC)

Thrass and Reader's Companion Edit

I noticed that you added The Essential Reader's Companion to Mitth'ras'safis' sources. Do you have the book? Does it have anything new or interesting information about Thrass?--Dionne Jinn (Something to say?) 20:49, October 6, 2012 (UTC)

  • The book pretty much only contains summaries of almost every known star wars book. Regarding characters, they are only mentioned by name. There's no new info about Thrawn's brother :P Plagueis327 (talk) 20:50, October 6, 2012 (UTC)

Universe Edit

Could you give me a page number for where the universe is mentioned in Book of Sith? It might give me quotes to use. Or info. Or something. I dunno. Most of this is ad lib, so nothing is automatically insignificant. x) NaruHina Talk Anakinsolo 18:42, October 22, 2012 (UTC)

  • I think that Plagueis mentions the Universe in either page 136 or 137. It is in the section where he talks about midi-chlorian manipulation. Plagueis327 (talk) 18:54, October 22, 2012 (UTC)

this is not goodEdit

regardless of what may or may not have happened this last year we can agree that this is not good for canon --Ediskrad327 (talk) 20:23, October 30, 2012 (UTC)

  • I agree, this is outrageous!!!! Plagueis327 (talk) 21:53, October 30, 2012 (UTC)
    • i wonder if Disney will go "screw the canon we have money" on this :| Ediskrad327 (talk) 21:59, October 30, 2012 (UTC)

Image captions Edit

Hello, Plagueis. Just wanted to remind you that, per Wookieepedia consensus, image captions should only be punctuated with an end period if they are complete sentences. In this image caption, a period should not be added, since that is not a complete sentence. Thanks. Toprawa and Ralltiir (talk) 18:11, November 6, 2012 (UTC)

  • I was not aware of that. Thank you for letting me know, it won't happen again. Plagueis327 (talk) 19:22, November 6, 2012 (UTC)

Aaghra in the Atlas Edit

Hey Plagueis, I've reached a setback. I've nommed the article Aaghra for GAN and used references from The Essential Atlas. I remember I saw those details on it however I've been looking for the exact pages for weeks and so far nothing. I wanted to ask you in case you remember where the planet is mentioned...considering that it was you who originally added [6] the Atlas to the Sources. I hope you have an Elephant-type memory, because I don't! Thanks in advance ;) Winterz (talk) 23:10, December 4, 2012 (UTC)

Crying or Dancing?Edit

i was going to ask you if you were Crying or Dancing about J.J. Abrahams involvement as the director of episode VII. but since apparently you just left the only medium i have left to contact you i guess that will be forever a Mystery among many other things :| --Ediskrad327 (talk) 17:37, January 26, 2013 (UTC)

Cleanup template on Chosen One Legends articleEdit

Hi Plagueis, I see a while ago you added a cleanup template to Chosen One/Legends saying it needed to be updated with information from Darth Plagueis (novel), Book of Sith: Secrets from the Dark Side, and Fate of the Jedi: Apocalypse. I've added information from the first two sources into the "Behind the scenes" section of the article, if you're still around could you take a look and see if all the info you were thinking of from those two is now included? Also, could you outline what info from Apocalypse you think should be added? Thanks! Hypnosifl (talk) 20:15, February 25, 2016 (UTC)
