Religious debates
Edit
Please don't start religious debates with other users on Wookieepedia. I've asked Vladius to respond to you via email if he wants to get into a discussion: but if he doesn't answer you, please don't bother him about it. —Silly Dan (talk) 00:47, 7 January 2007 (UTC)
- Also, and this should go without saying, don't call SparqMan an idiot. If you have a problem with his edits, there are more polite ways to disagree with him. —Silly Dan (talk) 01:21, 7 January 2007 (UTC)
Hang on. What the heck are you talking about? Quinlanfan didn't ask me any questions, as far as I know.---Vladius Magnum(Clan Magnum)20px 04:15, 7 January 2007 (UTC) Oh, I see. Well you're dreadfully wrong about mormons, but that's not the point. Anywhere you'd like to debate?---Vladius Magnum(Clan Magnum)20px 04:18, 7 January 2007 (UTC)
Okay, then. Firstly, Mormons are Christans just as much if not more than any other church. We believe strongly in repentance, baptism by immersion, the sacrament, and other ordinances. Second off, we do not believe that Joseph Smith is God's son, but a prophet who restored the gospel. For a summary of our beliefs, read the Articles of Faith. Anything else?---Vladius Magnum(Clan Magnum)20px 11:52, 8 January 2007 (UTC)
I never said that "humans become Gods". We don't know that. However, we were created in God's image. As for the "all you need to believe" thing, that is untrue and doesn't make sense. Would Saddam Hussein go to Heaven if he was just a christian, despite his slaughter of millions of people? Hitler? Stalin? You can repent for your sins, but John 3:16 doesn't summarize all scripture and requirement of faith. You don't have much to
Whining
Edit
Stop harassing people. It's disruptive. This is an explicit warning. You'll note on the Blocking policy a line that says "Disruption – Users who disrupt the wiki (be it via changing other people's comments, making misleading edits, or harassing other users) may also be blocked." You will also notice it says "blocks should usually progress according to the following table. Final discretion is left to the blocking administrator on a case-by-case basis." A warning isn't even required. And whining is not going to be tolerated. Drop it, or leave. -- Darth Culator (Talk)(Kills) 18:13, 4 February 2007 (UTC)
- On my talk page, you made it look like I was a bad "Christian" because I supported the so-called "non-Christian" users voting against you. You even expect your fellow Christians to support you even when you are making a menace of yourself here! Doesn't mean that I am a Christian and I have to stand by you. I have examined all your contributions and most of them were not helpful to this Wikia. In my eyes you are little more than an attention seeker who likes making lots of noise like some people in the news. Tough luck expecting any apologies from the community. So quit the whinning please. MyNz 00:06, 6 February 2007 (UTC)
blocked
Edit
I hope you enjoy your little 3-day vacation. Unless you learn not to go vote farming, not to harass people for disagreeing with you, and not to edit other user's votes, it will be longer next time. -- Darth Culator (Talk)(Kills) 23:07, 11 January 2007 (UTC)
- E-mailing Wikia didn't work, e-mailing other admins won't work, and Jack Nebulax can't unblock you. You're being remarkably childish about this, and you're cruising toward a longer block under the "disruption" provision of the blocking policy. Your harassment of other users, vote farming, and editing my vote all fall under that same item of the blocking policy, and you should be glad I didn't block you for a week. I suggest you act a little more mature when you come back, because being young doesn't excuse you from the rules of civilized behavior. -- Darth Culator (Talk)(Kills) 04:21, 12 January 2007 (UTC)

Sarlacc
Edit
- does anyone have a clear picture of the inside of the Sarlacc? Quinlanfan 00:30, 6 December 2006 (UTC)
Pictures
Edit
Hmmm......well, I created a gallery a while back (click Gallery of sarlacc images|here to see), that has one image of the inside of it, (click here to see it enlarged) that I don't think is the CLEAREST out there, but it is pretty easy to determine which parts of its body are in which spots. Hope this helps. User:Brain40/Sig. 17:23, 6 December 2006 (UTC)
The coding for the "talk link" part of it can't be written down to see without it producing the signature link, so to see it, click "edit" on my sig page (click here to get to the page) to see the coding for it. Though if you want a signature made, I'll gladly make it for you. User:Brain40/Sig. 17:38, 6 December 2006 (UTC)
Sig
Edit
Okay, all you have to do is type in: {{User:Quinlanfan/Sig.}} and it will come up like this: Grand Admiral Nick Vos [Holonet]
hope its cool. User:Brain40/Sig. 17:54, 6 December 2006 (UTC)
- And there is a link to the sig page at the bottom of your page. User:Brain40/Sig.
- You're welcome! Do you have any questions about the sarlacc that need answering? User:Brain40/Sig.
- Okay, pic up! User:Brain40/Sig.
- I think it is because the size and style it was uploaded in (as well as the picture itself), determines that, although, you could always ask an administrator for help on that. User:Brain40/Sig.
Sarlacc apprentice
Edit
Okay, this weekend I'll teach you everything I know about the Sarlacc. User:Brain40/Sig. 22:49, 6 December 2006 (UTC)
- And every weekend I will teach you more about it, until you know everything that I know. User:Brain40/Sig.
- Could you tell me the name of the slave? And if not, could you give me a link to where you read about the slave, (where it was mentioned). User:Brain40/Sig.
- Just one last thing I need clarified, could you identify what species it was? User:Brain40/Sig.
- I can't find her, could you tell me whom she was the slave of? User:Brain40/Sig.
- Sorry Quinlanfan, I've looked every where I can think of, try asking someone who has the comic books, or asking an administrator. User:Brain40/Sig.
- Hmmmm.....not sure exactly, though you could go to the website of the company who makes them. User:Brain40/Sig.
- Well, I suggest you ask an administrator, though the article says it will be either the 7th or the 13th. User:Brain40/Sig.
- The reason for that is probably that your computer doesn't process IRC. User:Brain40/Sig.
- Actually, I meant on Sunday I would teach you. But, just to get your curiosity about the Sarlacc even bigger: The sarlacc has many tentacles on the inside of its body, for transporting prey through its digestive tract. See you tomorow apprentice. User:Brain40/Sig.
Sarlacc lesson
Edit
Okay, this is the start of a lesson about the Sarlacc, apprentice. This week, we will be covering the mouth.
[[File:Sarlacc3.jpg|230px|left|thumb|The Sarlacc's large mouth.]] The Sarlacc's Mouth, is a large opening connected to its throat. The mouth has four main parts, the beak (main tongue), the rows of teeth, the tentacles (secondary tongues), and the opening to the throat. The beak is actually the Sarlacc's tongue, that can swallow and even kill prey outside of the mouth, it is very muscular, and has a fat stubby tentacle inside to aid in swallowing. The beaks of other sarlacc's are sometimes bigger, and can sometimes be smaller. The beak can also be used to divide prey (after killing the prey of course) into smaller, more manageable chunks of meat, for easy consumption. The rows of teeth, were the Sarlacc's tool of keeping prey within the mouth, since they were so sharp, and slippery with mucous, it was almost impossible for prey to climb out. 200px|thumb|right They were also inward-pointed, keeping even larger prey from climbing to freedom. The Sarlacc's tentacles, were actually tongues, that functioned to taste and feel the ground them, as well as tasting and "analizing" prey. They are very muscular, with strong valves and muscular tissue, that make it easy for them to keep a hold on prey. Some tentacles were deep inside the body, as seen in this chart on the right, but are not tongues, they are actually large tendrils, connected to large networks of fibrous tissues. The opening to the throat, is not very large, but it is flexible, making it easy for the beak to emmerge to grab prey, and for prey to easily tumble into. The mucous glands within the throat excrete fluids to the opening, making it wet and slippery, to both protect from sand and gravel damaging the tissue, and to make the emmerging of the beak faster.
I hope you enjoyed this lesson, there will be another one next Sunday. If you have any questions about what I've told you, ask on my talk page. See you later, apprentice. User:Brain40/Sig. 16:08, 10 December 2006 (UTC)
- Sorry, I just figured since you hadn't responded yet you hadn't gotton it, so I thought I'd wait before giving another one, though look below for a smaller one. User:Brain40/Sig.
Sarlacc lesson2m
Edit
We will be covering the sarlacc's way of moving victims into the stomachs. 140px|right|thumb After a victim has been swallowed by the beak, (mouth) it goes through the throat to one of its many digestive chambers. Many fibrous tendrils and vessels outside of the stomach, grab and wrap themselves around the victim, covering it in mucous, and feeling it to figure out how much strength it has, to determine how strong it is kept in the stomach by the vessels, and also figuring out which stomach to put it in; and also pulling the victim into one of the stomachs, where the same tentacles attach the victim to the stomach, where vessels in the stomach puncture the victim's body, sticking it to the wall of the stomach, feeding its caustic blood and juices into, and around the victim, where the blood helps provide nutrients for the long process, and at the same time digesting its insides.
I hope you find this interesting, there will be another one this coming weekend about the digestive system itself. User:Brain40/Sig.
Sig
Edit
Hmmm, ask User:Jabbathehuttgartogg, the reason why is, I tried to put it in, but it didn't work, but Jabba should be able to help. User:Brain40/Sig.
- Ask an administrator then, though I personally suggest User:Sentry. He should be able to help as well. User:Brain40/Sig.
- Done. I'm not on as much as I was over the summer. The Year or so just means I'll return when the last school bell rings. It's fin! -- Jabbathehuttgartogg(Rancor pit) 20px 01:41, 22 December 2006 (UTC)

Hmmm....
Edit
I'm not sure how the sarlacc does that, and I know nearly everything there is to know, (not to sound like I have a big ego) and when it comes to you, there will be one more lesson next weekend, and then you will be a master. User:Brain40/Sig.

Alpha 17
Edit
- Three things: 1 - The info about Alpha 17's official action figure release may be (dubiously) notable when it actually happens, not before. 2 - Links to user pages don't belong on articles except in extremely rare cases like Wookieepedians who have had winning entries in What's the Story or other participation in official matters. 3 - Don't tell people to stop reverting your edits when your edits are the ones that are improper. -- Darth Culator (Talk)(Kills) 03:35, 10 January 2007 (UTC)

Wookieepedia administrator

- You can't really be serious. -- Riffsyphon1024 06:41, 12 January 2007 (UTC)
- Anyway to become an Administrator you would have to be a member of the community for six months or more. ALso, you would have to display certain skills like being polite with other users, having contributed to our articles and topics and also being trustworthy and mature. I would suggest an admin be either in senior high school (16-18) or 18 and over. Be aware that having a long fan-made biography on your user page wouldn't count. I see your father has tried to get us to unblock you though this is unlikely because the administrator who blocked you is the only one who can decide. Zainal 12:13, 12 January 2006 (UTC)

Re: I am confused.
Edit
- Apparently, the Alpha-17 argument was just the first step, and the voting issue exacerbated it to the point of the block. Again, I'm just explaining my understanding of it, but I still feel the administrative action was justified. —Xwing328(Talk) 15:07, 12 January 2007 (UTC)

Marriage
Edit
Hey, just wanted you to know that I agree with you totally in regards to the real world. It's just complicated in Star Wars because the context has changed. You know how some people say that marriage is a man-made institution, better suited for the "state" than the "church"? Well, in Star Wars, this is the case. In the Star Wars universe, no one died for mans' sins. Man is not created in the image of anything in particular, instead sharing his existence with numerous other sentients. Star Wars marriage, as such, cannot model anything divine as it does in the real world. So it loses a lot of meaning. Kinda makes you confused/grateful, huh? :-) -BaronGrackle 02:50, 21 January 2007 (UTC)

MOTS
Edit
If you enjoyed Jedi Knight, I would recommend Mysteries of the Sith. Some things that may disappoint you: no live-action cutscenes like in Jedi Knight, and no chance for your character to choose the Dark side. Otherwise, the gameplay is very much like that for Jedi Knight; I'm just surprised you were able to find a copy for it online! Oh, and in case you don't check back on the Jedi Knight talkpage, you can move Max out of the room by just walking up against him and "pushing" him out of the door. -BaronGrackle 21:52, 24 January 2007 (UTC)
- Hmm. With Max, I actually *did* mean walk into him. Try again and make sure you aren't pushing into the chair behind him; if I remember correctly, he has to be pushed off the side of the chair, and when the two of you get to the door you'll have to open it for him. And I don't remember how many levels are in MOTS, but I do know there are game guides. One level's a prison break, and you actually have to fight unarmed for a while—pretty fun. -BaronGrackle 03:50, 26 January 2007 (UTC)
- So he followed you out of the house and into the bar? Hmm. It may be that he has an issue with indoor spaces. It's best to get him running through that open market area across the bridge if possible, but your time with him will be short-lived regardless. You may be lucky enough to see him lay waste to an enemy or two (it only happens if they shoot first), and you can even pick a fight with him yourself (your lightsaber will deflect his bullets; when he dies, he just stands still and you can go right through him). But he won't go very far with you, unfortunately. I blame the short attention span. -BaronGrackle 16:28, 26 January 2007 (UTC)
- A DEMO?! That's rough. Good to know that you got your money back, at least. Crazy e-bay deals... though I've heard it can be really useful if you buy from the right people. -BaronGrackle 17:57, 5 February 2007 (UTC)
Apology
Edit
I'm so sorry Quinlanfan, since I'm an admin on the Gun Wiki, there was some tech and correction stuff I had to take care of, as well as I've been helping Angela with vandalism on the Central Wikia. But don't worry, you'll be getting a lesson later tomorrow. Again sorry. User:Brain40/Sig.
Final lesson
Edit
Here is your lesson, though you'll be an expert after this lesson on the biological sciences of the sarlacc, for other aspects, see: Sarlacc. User:Brain40/Sig.
When a victim is swallowed, it is transported into the stomach by many muscular vessels and tendrils. When the victim enters the stomach, many, many vessels and tendrils attach themselves to the victim, and embed themselves into it, making the victim at one with the stomach, and pumping juices and its own caustic blood into the victim, using both juices to digest the victim, and at the same time take nutrients from it by creating a constant flow between the sarlacc's body and the body of the victim. After the victim has been set, over the 1,000-year-period, the victim's conscience is absorbed, and added to the sarlacc's collection of consciences, making the sarlacc more intelligent. The sarlacc of Tatooine's body, is one of the largest known, since there are so few sarlaccs, it is hard for xenobiologists to study them, though, the Tatooine sarlacc, is confirmed to be one of the larger of the species.
Now, be aware, that this is canon information, I've left out possible fanon, speculation, and definate fanon-based info, such speculative content is mentioned in a seperate section in the main sarlacc article. For some other facts not in the sarlacc article, or possibly here, see w:c:swfanon:User:Brain40/Sarlacc info, as well as Wikipedia:Sarlacc. For a gallery, see: Gallery of sarlacc images. Once you've read the sarlacc article, this lesson, and the stuff in the links given, you will be a master. User:Brain40/Sig.
Kaleesh
Edit
Hmmm....not sure, I remember seeing a picture in a Star Wars magazine, though I can't really say. User:Brain40/Sig.
Leia?
Edit
I've have no idea, the only star wars games I have are KOTOR I & II, Battlefront I & II, LEGO starwars II, and that's about it. User:Brain40/Sig.
- Ah. Well either way I don't know, though sometimes comics exaggerate the characters a little on terms of drawing. User:Brain40/Sig.
Jabba and Oola
Edit
I just meant that knowing what a pervert Jabba was, he probably made the slaves strip sometimes. He tried to make Oola strip, but she refused, so he fed her to the rancor. I assume the slaves left after his death. As far as I know Leia never actually danced for him. Chack Jadson 19:51, 1 February 2007 (UTC)
Re: ROTJ.

Jabba
Edit
Well, I've noticed in canon and non-canon stories and games, that his throne room is below different floors, though in the movie....hmmm....I really can't say, though they never actually showed the link between his throne room and the exact hallway, so I can't say, try asking either User:Jabbathehuttgartogg, or an administrator. User:Brain40/Sig.
- I have no idea...User:Brain40/Sig.
RFA
Edit
- Per your request, I moved your RFA to the archive page. You may not delete any comments there and if you would like to continue discussing the events of this, I suggest you use people's talk pages, in a civil manner. If you have any further questions, leave a note on my talk page. Atarumaster88 20px (Audience Chamber) 00:01, 6 February 2007 (UTC)
- And it's not personal, what I said. You simply do not meet the qualifications. That said, I'm not apologizing for anything. Atarumaster88 20px (Audience Chamber) 00:06, 6 February 2007 (UTC)
- And to answer your question, the minimum age for adminship is 18. Atarumaster88 20px (Audience Chamber) 00:08, 6 February 2007 (UTC)
- And it's not personal, what I said. You simply do not meet the qualifications. That said, I'm not apologizing for anything. Atarumaster88 20px (Audience Chamber) 00:06, 6 February 2007 (UTC)
- If I understand what you want correctly, you want me to delete that RFA? I'm afraid that goes against our policy on deletion. All RFAs are recorded for posterity, and there have been lots of mean comments said before- look at some of Jack's. I'm sorry your feelings were hurt, but a) you probably should have read the requirements for adminship and maybe some previous nominations and b) When you are nominated for something like that, or say, WOTM, you throw yourself out into the spotlight for people to comment on it. If you have any further questions or want to discuss anything else about RFA, please address it to my talk page and I'll see what I can do. Atarumaster88 20px (Audience Chamber) 18:01, 8 February 2007 (UTC)
- Sorry, no. Just like I can't erase arguments off of talk pages, (and some of them need it) I can't erase comments off of an RFA. I'm not mad at you- I don't really have much emotion one way or the other toward people here. From my POV, you had a big idea, you threw it out there, you got embarrassed, you move on. Life goes on, and so does the Wookiee. Atarumaster88 20px (Audience Chamber) 18:08, 8 February 2007 (UTC)
