I would like to thank you for your contributions to Wookieepedia. It is recommended that you use the preview button before you save; this helps you find any errors you have made, and prevents clogging up recent changes and the page history. Thanks again. • Speedy delete is for anything that's obviously fanon or false, such as a naming error. Just tag it with {{delete}} and an admin will delete it soon. Havac 23:25, 7 September 2006 (UTC)

List of ship names. Edit

Compiling that list must have taken forever. I hope I didn't butcher it too badly while skimming through it. Jwebb1340px 21:13, 9 September 2006 (UTC)

Templates Edit

What purpose do your new templates serve? Template:VicStar, Template:ImpStar, Template:Strike, etc.--Darth OblivionComlink20px 20:15, 13 September 2006 (UTC)

  • I see none. I'm about to put a speedy on them. Fleet Admiral J. Nebulax (Imperial Holovision) 20px 11:24, 14 September 2006 (UTC)
    • They are pretty usefull for cleaning up source code for various pages i thought. Ugluk: Destroyer of Redlinks 23:29, 14 September 2006 (UTC)
      • doutb it, you might want to talk to some of the admins about it though. Ugluk: Destroyer of Redlinks 00:24, 15 September 2006 (UTC)
      • ps nebulax probably didnt delete it since he really doesnt have that kind of power. Ugluk: Destroyer of Redlinks 00:25, 15 September 2006 (UTC)
        • RelentlessRecusant, stop creating those pointless templates. If you create any more of them, I will inform the administrators. They will delete those templates, and they may just ban you. Fleet Admiral J. Nebulax (Imperial Holovision) 20px 15:11, 16 September 2006 (UTC)
          • The only people I like to see banned are vandals. I do not wish to see you banned. However, Wookieepedia has a policy. Those templates were and are going to be deleted. If you continue to create them, you may get banned for that. It's in the administrators' hands, not mine. Fleet Admiral J. Nebulax (Imperial Holovision) 20px 15:23, 16 September 2006 (UTC)
  • RelentlessRecusant, please do not leave Wookieepedia. This is simply a minor issue. In the past, I've cause one person to leave, and he was a very good friend of mine. I don't want to see you be the second person who leaves because of me. I know I'm being a major jerk, but it's only because I'm following the policy of Wookieepedia. Fleet Admiral J. Nebulax (Imperial Holovision) 20px 15:31, 16 September 2006 (UTC)
    • WOuldnt be a problem if you didnt have your little complex now would it Nebs? Ugluk: Destroyer of Redlinks 16:01, 16 September 2006 (UTC)
      • Stop throwing insults at anyone. The consensus track is already on its way. Either if we decide to keep or delete the templates, it will no longer be a personal debate between you and Neb, the community got involved by the consensus track. - TopAce 16:03, 16 September 2006 (UTC)
      • just to clear it up, i dont call him Nebs Nebby or Jacky Boy as insults. Ugluk: Destroyer of Redlinks 16:09, 16 September 2006 (UTC)
  • I will say what I've already said: Let the community decide on the consensus track. I don't think Relentless Recusant should leave. I don't think this template thing is worth arguing over. And Ugluk, whatever you are mad at Nebulax about, cool it please. I'm really tempted to ask an admin to consider a cooldown ban on you. You've pretty much been rude the whole discussion. Atarumaster88 20px (Audience Chamber) 21:11, 16 September 2006 (UTC)
  • Nebulax and Atarumaster are right, you shouldn't leave over this. I happen to agree with Nebulax on this one but I think it'd be a real shame if we can't manage to resolve this without anyone feeling too hard done by. Green tentacle 23:00, 16 September 2006 (UTC)

Let's let diplomacy have a shot Edit

  • RelentlessRecusant, I would like to encourage you NOT to leave Wookieepedia. I also believe you can do good work here. This template issue really is minor in the grand scheme of things. Right now, it's in the hands of the community- the consensus track will decide. It's not worth arguing with Nebulax about. Look, if the templates are deleted, I can help you make a subpage where you can copy and paste the text from by having two browser windows open. You have your subpage with the code on 1 window and have the article you're working on in the other browser window. This is not worth leaving about, and I really wish you wouldn't. Atarumaster88 20px (Audience Chamber) 21:05, 16 September 2006 (UTC)
  • Well, like I said, I wish you wouldn't leave. I think part of the problem is when people start attaching emotions to impersonal objects. Yeah, the templates might make things easier, but in the long run, is it worth getting mad at other people or leaving something that once was fun? If you can, try and put yourself in the shoes of the opposing side. If you don't agree with him, at least try and see his point. Ultimately, you have the choice of what you are going to do. I believe the option with the most maturity would be to continue the work you've started, put this mess behind you, and maybe take a little Wookiee vacation to cool down. It's up to you, but your leaving will only really affect one person here: you. Well, no matter what you choose, my best wishes go with you. Cheers. Atarumaster88 20px (Audience Chamber) 22:27, 16 September 2006 (UTC)
  • Well, call me an idealistic fool, but to some extent, I care about what happens to every Wookieepedian. I've tried my hardest to get along with every user. I don't like it when we fight amongst ourselves. I'm not sure what the "not exactly" is in reference to, but I am glad you enjoy the Jedi Order sig pic. Jedi rule. Atarumaster88 20px (Audience Chamber) 22:35, 16 September 2006 (UTC)
  • OK, as I see it, here's your side: "The new templates make it easier for me to put in links for their ship classes. It saves me time and effort."

And as I see it, here's their side: "These new templates are not very useful to the community at large. They will not be used much and there's always copy and paste."

My opinion doesn't matter, although there's no great conspiracy against you. I think both sides should come to a reasonable compromise. And involving Ugluk probably wasn't the best idea, I haven't seen too much from him in this discussion that I like.

Sith order pics, boy there are so many. 140px 120px

  • I just finished reading what you wrote (I'm using two browser windows). Look, Nebulax did not put the delete tag on the templates because he's evil. Like you, he has a sincerely held position. You just happen to disagree. I've already seen his reasoning on his talk page- I've looked everywhere this issue was mentioned. I do things like that. I see both of your points of view. I'm just trying to reconcile them. I'll talk to Nebulax as well, if you want. Atarumaster88 20px (Audience Chamber) 22:45, 16 September 2006 (UTC)
  • Eh, the Sith were never too big on pretty pictures. Atarumaster88 20px (Audience Chamber) 22:47, 16 September 2006 (UTC)
  • We would never do anything of the sort. Look, I'm about to talk to Nebulax on your behalf. Atarumaster88 20px (Audience Chamber) 22:49, 16 September 2006 (UTC)
    • Well, I'm not an offical mediator/negotiator or anything. That job description should belong to every Wookieepedian if you ask me. Circular metal shiny thing? That's a . . . uh . . . Kool-Aid dispenser. Yeah.

I believe this is the official policy Nebulax keeps sort of citing without actually saying where it's from:

Templates in the article namespace exist only to help readers. These can include navigation aids, or warnings that content is sub-standard. Templates that provide information only of service to editors belong on an article's talk page. from Template. I think that last part is what he means. What do I know? Atarumaster88 20px (Audience Chamber) 23:01, 16 September 2006 (UTC)

  • Petition to change the policy? Well, if you really want to, go to "recent changes", "find admin", pick one of them. The two highest level admins, or bureaucrats, are Riffsyphon1024 and WhiteBoy. I mean, really the Senate Hall was your best bet if you want something changed. Okay, what I'm suggesting here is sort of controversial, so please don't get offended: Let it go. Edit using copy/paste. Do it their way. Let them win, not because they're right, but because you are mature enough to accept their stubbornness on the issue. Is it fair? No. Do you get anything out of it? Probably not. Do your templates get used? Probably not. Is it the mature thing to do? I think so, although I can honestly say I don't know if I could do it myself. I hope I could. It's just a thought. Whatever you do, be on your politest wording, and please don't ask Ugluk to help again with Nebulax. Atarumaster88 20px (Audience Chamber) 23:09, 16 September 2006 (UTC)
  • Well, as much as I know, the number of people who use your templates is not one of the things I know. I will be happy to help in anything non-confrontational you need my help with. I'm glad you're probably not leaving, and I know you will be a good member of Wookieepedia, because you believe in what you do. Eh, Nebulax can be a bit grouchy, but he's had a bad week on some other things. He's been turned down for adminship twice, despite having the 2nd highest number of edits ever. I've talked to him, but I'm not sure if he's on right now. My advice is to let it go, or at least wait awhile before discussing changes to template policy. I have to sign off for now- RL stuff, and diplomacy makes me hungry. You're most welcome. Good to chat with you. Happy editing. Atarumaster88 20px (Audience Chamber) 23:22, 16 September 2006 (UTC)

RE: List of StarshipsEdit

No problem RR. As a Wookieepedian, I have to give the source for anything, even if from Wikipedia and considering that you were the primary editor of that page, there was no reason to claim it as our own. -- Riffsyphon1024 22:46, 18 September 2006 (UTC)

Template:StarshipDetailsEdit

Is your new {{StarshipDetails}} template really necessary? The {{individual ship infobox}} already serves that pupose… –SentryTalk 23:30, 19 September 2006 (UTC)

  • I'm sorry that it has taken a while to get back to you. I haven't been around for a few days. To answer your question, in order to hide the technical specifications field you just have to add the statement "

And also, what's wrong with displaying tech details that aren't modified, so that readers don't have to click the link to the ship's class to see what weapons a ship carries and stuff?

I am not sure what you mean. Can you clarify? Thanks, SentryTalk 00:37, 21 September 2006 (UTC)
    • I think that the reason we don't list standard ship class statistics in individual ship articles is that we wish to keep the infoboxes as condensed as possible. Also, if those statistics are found to be incorrect, they would have to be changed within all those ship articles rather than just the ship class articles. As such, it is easier to just list the ship specifications that vary from the standard specs for the relevant ship class.–SentryTalk 05:27, 22 September 2006 (UTC)

    ISD-I debate Edit

    • Hey RR i would like to give you a little advice about the ISD-I article: just let it go for now. jack has been particularly warhawkish today and yesterday so you might want to wait before you correct it. be the more mature one. Ugluk: Destroyer of Redlinks 15:47, 24 September 2006 (UTC)
      • There's nothing to correct, though. We currently are using a compromise on the armament because we can't choose from one source and say the other ones made a mistake. Fleet Admiral J. Nebulax (Imperial Holovision) 20px 15:48, 24 September 2006 (UTC)

    Mon Calamari starships templateEdit

Could you move the new template to "Template:Mon Calamari starships" or something similar to be more in keeping with the names of similar templates, please? I'd do it myself but didn't want to move it while you are working on it. Green tentacle 11:25, 27 September 2006 (UTC)

    Fanfic Edit

    • Is it okay if I mention the RR in my fanfic? BTW, what about very non-denominational speed-draw blaster gun duels? Are those okay here? Atarumaster88 20px (Audience Chamber) 04:11, 28 September 2006 (UTC)

    Truth and Reconciliation Edit

    • RelentlessRecusant, a new page has been formed designed to create some semblance of continuity and order among the fanfics of several users, including yourself. Feel free to look it over and contribute. Directed by "Cheland Lee", details can be found here. Atarumaster88 20px (Audience Chamber) 22:38, 28 September 2006 (UTC)
    • I'll repeat what I posted on the Truth&Rec page here:
    • "Um, well this was based off what you had on your main page for the Relentless Recusant. I removed the links to the StarCraft page 1)because this is my talk page, 2) It doesn't have much relevance and 3)I don't like scroll boxes. If it bothers you, I'll put it back, but the link is on your userpage. Interesting on the KoTOR era start. I'm curious about how that is going to work with Bastila living until 40 ABY. Let's not put a Sith named Atarumaster88 in the story, because the Atarumaster is not a Sith! The idea of this was for continuity."
You of course are free to write whatever you want- it's your fanfic- but the idea behind the Truth&Rec page was to unify some of our fanfics as much as possible. I was only aware of the SW fanfic about the Star Destroyer, so that's what I assumed. Because I mentioned the ship RR in my fanfic, you were added to the Truth&Rec project. That's "what the heck" this is. I looked at your fleet fanfic (skimmed mostly). It's not bad, but could use some . . . Lucasation (modifying to be more in-universe). Happy editing. Atarumaster88 20px (Audience Chamber) 03:16, 29 September 2006 (UTC)
    • Here's the same reply I posted on the Truth&Rec page:

*Good point on the life of the Sith. As for what we've started, it would take some time to fully explain the storyline. Suffice to say this project is an amalgamation of at least 5 fanfics written independently. We're just continuing with what we started. If it was up to me, I'd ask that you name your Sith cyborg something else- I'm neither a cyborg fan or a Sith fan. I'll explain user by user a short synopsis and they can correct me. Then I'll list some of the common events that feature in several storylines. I'll put all this into a separate section on the page. Sorry about the delay in replying, but I have stuff to do in RL also. Hope that helps. I'm going to work on a basic storyline on the page right now. Atarumaster88 20px (Audience Chamber) 16:55, 29 September 2006 (UTC)

    • However, you absolutely may be entered into the Truth and Rec project by simply "joining the storyline" i.e. writing something in about any or several or all of the other users. Please leave comments in the comment section only- the New Essential Made-up Chronology is for storyline sections only. Feel free to write us in and be added into our "continuity!" I invited you because I had mentioned the RR in my fanfic- I forgot to place that in the NEMCC. Atarumaster88 20px (Audience Chamber) 00:23, 30 September 2006 (UTC)
    • After having read your latest additions to your fanfic, which is quite well-written, I've noticed that you have no real intentions of adding to the unified storyline of the Truth&Rec. While none of what you've written contradicts anything we've done, I don't think that's the direction we were planning on taking. Please don't take this the wrong way, and if you want to still be in the project, we can try and work things out, but if you aren't interested in working based off our unified (in progress) story, please let me know. In some ways, it's less constricting for you- you can write whatever you want. Again, please don't take this the wrong way. Atarumaster88 20px (Audience Chamber) 14:24, 30 September 2006 (UTC)
      • Okay- based on what you've told me, that's fair enough. You are more than welcome to stay in the project, although I will be making slight modifications to the parameters of the Truth & Reconciliation. Just before you place anyone else in your fanfic, make sure it's okay with them. Cheers. Atarumaster88 20px (Audience Chamber) 17:00, 30 September 2006 (UTC)
    • The Truth & Rec is being shut down by an administrator. I will terminate the page in 5 days rather than give Imp the satisfaction of removing it. What you do with your own fanfics is your business, but I would read Imp's comment on the T&R page. Atarumaster88 20px (Audience Chamber) 14:20, 1 October 2006 (UTC)
    • (Reply from my talk page) I think he means that I am not doing anything about it and actually, at the requests of a couple T&R members, I already executed Base Delta Zero on the page. Imp is correct on all his points, as much as I disagree with him on this. The project has been moved over the fanon wiki but I know of at least myself, Grand Admiral Nebulax and CountDooku13 or whatever he calls himself now are not contributing over there, but will keep our fanfics on our own pages. No more arguments for the reinstatement of the Truth&Rec page here are being entertained. Sorry for the late update. Cheers. Atarumaster88 20px (Audience Chamber) 16:40, 2 October 2006 (UTC)
    • As for Imp, it's not worth trying to argue with him. Especially with this quote from him: Although I would prefer a more Empire-ish system.~User:Imperialles. As an admin, he's fully capable of enforcing his will at the point of a ban-stick. Wookieepedia is NOT a democracy. Atarumaster88 20px (Audience Chamber) 18:18, 2 October 2006 (UTC)

    Re: Sith dreadnaught Edit

    Viscount-class Star Defender response. Edit

The only reason I reverted your edits to the ammunition is because we usally have it like "**30 missiles each". But with that fire arc stuff, I guess it can work the way it is now. WP:CIVIL Edit

Please refrain from referring to any other user as a "fucking bastard", even on a third party's talk page. This violates Wookieepedia:Civility, and may lead to a block. If you have a problem with any of Kuralyov's specific actions, please take it up with him, with one of the bureaucrats, or on Forum:Administrators' noticeboard. —Silly Dan (talk) 21:49, 17 December 2006 (UTC)

    What's up? =D

I just wanted to let you know that I registered on the Halo Fanon site and here. It's so awesome that there's a wiki totally about Star Wars! I love it! =D

If there's anything special I need to know about here, can you tell me?

    SignatureEdit

Hey Recusant, sorry to have to tell you this, but the .gif in your signature violates our Wookieepedia:Signature policy, so you'll have to change it. If you could do that as soon as possible, we'd really appreciate it. Thanks and happy editing. Cull Tremayne 23:03, 13 April 2007 (UTC)

    • Additionally, your guestbook violates our Wookieepedia:User page policy, so you'll need to delete that as well. Sorry, but we're not myspace, and the policy's been in place for awhile. If you can do that as soon as possible we'll appreciate it. Otherwise we'll have to delete it ourselves. Cull Tremayne 23:09, 13 April 2007 (UTC)
      • Sorry, I deleted it myself. The old version does appear in the history, if you want to move the content over to the Guestbook Wikia. Again, sorry for the inconvenience, but we have to apply this policy to established contributors as well as for newbies who have done nothing but play with their userpages.... —Silly Dan (talk) 23:12, 13 April 2007 (UTC)
        • You appear to be breaking about half of the signature rules. They admins told you to fix it about a month ago and you have done nothing. If I were you, I would clean it up before the they decide to do it for you. This isn't the fanon wiki where you can turn your sig into the wiki equivalent of a neon sign.--04:02, 6 May 2007 (UTC)

    BannedEdit

    • You have banned for 1 day for prolonged violation of Wookieepedia:Signature policy after repeated warnings. Your .gif image should be removed, as should the excessive links and colors. Please read the policy linked above. In all fairness, you were warned by several users and given a month to do so, and didn't comply. Atarumaster88 04:11, 6 May 2007 (UTC)
      • As you still didn't follow the policy, which is to have 1 color besides the default, and one extra link (not three), your signature template has been modified to fit the policy. Please keep it within the limits from now on. Cheers.Atarumaster88 20:05, 7 May 2007 (UTC)

    Re:BFII screenshots Edit

If you still need some, I'd be happy to provide them. I wasn't able to get on much over the summer, but I should be on more often now that school has started. rar. --tzzA 01:22, 12 September 2007 (UTC)
