Yes, hello. I'm a new Wookieepedian, but have been using the site for quite some time now.

I'd like to know where I nominate a quote on the In-Universe Quote-of-the-day page. I can't figure out where the link is, or however it is done. Help? The quote is:

hey, im really confused. I was just playing around typing in fictional names into search to see if they were real sw names (long story). when i typed in Darth Rex, it brought up a page saying, "Welcome Darth Rex!" New Positions Edit

I was thinking, should there be designated or at least recognized authorities on lesser known topics in the real universe which montor references to those thigns on Wookieepedia? Such as languages, religions, cultures or history which is lesser known to the greater public. I have seen some honest mistakes made by people when refering to lesser known topics (in discussons or behind the scenes or other real world based facts). I am aware that this may not work due to so many positions being added or it may simply go against some policy or admins' personal site related interests. The Timeline on the Legacy of the Force page. Edit

I remove it because it was based on dates given by Sue Rostoni and Lord Hydronium told me that Sue stated somewhere that her dates were screwy, meaning that the timeline itself is screwy.

I actually acknowledged this on the relevant talk page, but once again I apologize. -- SFH

Any Idea Why I'm getting This Message Edit

I was going revert your reversion of my edit and it keeps saying Removing (or "blanking") much or all of the text on a page is not permitted except in specific circumstances. Please confirm that this is deliberate. If confirmed, this edit will be reviewed by an administrator. What do I do? It's due to a filter that the we have put in place to warn new users when they attempt to remove large amounts of information to make sure it is what they want to do. Hello. I'm Gmalek. For the past week, I have been searching for answers. It goes kind of like this: My friend used to contribute to this site, about a year ago. He left, also a long time ago. I was just seeing if his page was still here, and I saw that it was. I figured that pages like these get deleted after a long time. So I looked up more Wookieepedians who had left, and two of the ones I found had left nearly two years ago. So I asked JangFett and Chack Jadson, hut they haven't giving me the answers yet. How to go about doing a conflict between sources? Edit

I would like to know how I would go about doing a conflict on the planet Cathar. Some sources place it in the Expansion Region next to the Ploo system but The Essential Atlas places it in the Quelii sector of the Outer Rim Territories next to Dathomir. Submission Help Edit

I am VERY new here. I just recently started reading some of the Star Wars novels and I have been crosses referencing everything I am reading with Wookieepedia. (Example:looking up different species and planets)

While reading Drew Karpyshyn's Darth Bane Trilogy, I came across many references to a Chancellor Valorun and found no reference to the Old Republic Era, Valorun.

So, I started playing in the Sandbox and I was wondering if there was any kind hearted Administrator out there willing to take me under their wing and help me with the format and editing of what could be possibly be a useful submission.

I am, but to be honest, I'm not sure if I can maintain the desired number. I'm not really keeping up with the current books/comics/cartoons due to personal tastes, and odds are the things I do know about are already sourced to the maximum potential. On the other hand, I've put a lot of work into the site over the last five years, and am here everyday. Perhaps I could offer advice. Personal problems kept me from the site for a period of several months recently, and I was alerted with two days before my six-month period was up that I needed to make it back to fifty edits. In order to make it happen—and I desired to keep my sysops because I feel I can still be of use to the site as an administrator and bureaucrat—I used "random article" and made any corrections I felt were necessary to as many pages as I could for a couple of hours. Wording, formatting, easy stuff. I've seen what you do: you watch the RCs and sometimes make deletions and blocks based on your observations. We could use an admin like you still in the group. Anchorhead and distances Edit

Hi, I know I'm a bit third party on this, but... Mos Eisley article says the distance is 80 km, and that can be roughly measured from File:TatooineMap.jpg although it isn't exactly north—south direction. Redlinks Edit

As a new wiki user, I would like to make improvements to this site. Specifically, the excess of redlinks within several articles "going away". For instance, within the Scimitar article of this wiki, within its "Description/Characteristics" portion, it lists X-C 2 ion drive array as not having a page. In samaritan spirits, I would like to fix these redlinks for other users. I need a nudge in the right direction however. I'm going to let the removal stand for now. I have a copy of what is not a "bootleg" copy. It is a product I received from a friend overseas. I believe it was purchased overseas (outside the US) before the "official US release date" and then pulled from the shelf without ever being officially released in the US. Creating a new article Edit

So I've been drafting up an article for a webcomic. I have two questions regarding parts of the article I want to make sure follow site policy before I publish it.

1. Notability: Two full projects have been completed and the creators will complete least three more. The creators have attended many conventions in the country and the comic has even gained the support of the 501st, which has helped to promote the comic. Is it notable enough?
2. Image Policy (Fan Art): Since this is a fan project, do all images from this project fall under the category of fan art? Or are they allowed since the images come from a published webcomic, despite the fact that it is made by fans exclusively?

Grand Moffs Edit

I noticed that instead of verifying an accurate anon change to the header of Grand Moffs you simply reverted it. For your edification Odile Vaiken was the very first Imperial Grand Moff in Star Wars lore, which makes him the first ever Grand Moff. Wilhuff Tarkin was not even the first Grand Moff in the Galactic Empire. Reflexively reverting anon edits without verifying first, only hurts the wiki. --Basique 22:36, December 11, 2010 (UTC)

Hey SFH, I recently reverted your link change in the Abeloth article, and I wanted to let you know why. When the full phrase of a non-conjecturally titled article is mentioned in text, then you should link the full phrase, particularly if the latter part of the phrase is mentioned and thus able to be linked later in the article.
