The Vaal asteroid fields was a collection of asteroid fields near the planet of Vaal, in the Gordian Reach.

HistoryEdit

In 0 BBY, the Sith Lord Darth Vader accidentally hit the asteroid fields when he were trying to land his damaged TIE Advanced x1, due to a malfunction in the ship's navigation computer. This accident caused him to crash, eventually resulting in the death of the Imperial staff stationed on Vaal.
