Darth Vader's Eta-2 Actis-class light interceptor, also known as Darth Vader's Sith starfighter, was a black Eta-2 Actis-class interceptor owned by Darth Vader during the early years of the Galactic Empire.

[edit] History
Following the Clone Wars, Vader piloted one of these starfighters during some of his early missions for Emperor Palpatine as the Great Jedi Purge continued, sometimes flanked by Alpha-3 Nimbus-class V-wing starfighters. Vader often used the astromech droid R4-K5 while piloting the interceptor.
Vader's opinion of the craft was very low, due to the fact that his cumbersome armor made it incredibly difficult to comfortably fit into their cockpits. He quickly switched to his TIE Advanced x1 as soon as it was ready.
While seeing to operations on Kashyyyk during the Galactic Civil War, Darth Vader eventually turned the craft over to an Imperial agent. He personally assigned the agent to assist in the attack on a Rebel convoy in Kashyyyk space.
[edit] Behind the scenes
Hasbro has released a toy model of this craft as part of its 30th anniversary collection. The toy is based on the appearance described in the novel Dark Lord: The Rise of Darth Vader.
