The Vallusk Cluster was a common location for starships to come out of hyperspace and recalibrate their navigation computers for the trip to Arkuda.^[1]

Admiral Ackbar created a distraction in the Vallusk Cluster, engaging four Star Destroyers, so the Rebels at Massassi Station could run the Imperial blockade of the Yavin system.^[2][1]
