Vamilad was a Jedi Master who served the Jedi Order and the Galactic Republic during the final decades of the Republic Classic era.

BiographyEdit

A Force-sensitive trained in the ways of the Force by the Jedi Order, Vamilad achieved the rank of Jedi Master. Active during the time of the Clone Wars, a conflict between the Galactic Republic and the Confederacy of Independent Systems, Vamilad survived the end of the conflict, which also heralded the end of the Republic and the Jedi Order.^[1]

As the Republic died and the Galactic Empire sprung up to replace it in the newly Sith-controlled galaxy, Vamilad went to ground to avoid execution. Making contact with fellow survivors such as Masters Djinn Altis, Plett, and Iri Camas, Vamilad agreed to shelter any Jedi survivors sent his way. Vamilad managed to seclude himself in an undisclosed location, while remnants of the Order and its allies, such as Antarian Ranger Jilam Kester, would lead others to safety. Though he attempted to remain under the radar of the Empire, Imperial forces were aware of Vamilad's involvement in the underground movement, but were unsure of where the Jedi was.^[1]
