A vaporator mushroom was a form of edible fungus. This particular type of mushroom grew near the base of moisture vaporators on the planet Tatooine.

Shmi Skywalker was gathering these mushrooms when she was abducted by Tusken Raiders.

Sometimes, farmers would hire hunters to stop creatures from eating their mushrooms.^[1]
