Lord Vartonis was a Dark Jedi operating on Mustafar during the Galactic Civil War. He had hoped to capture a mysterious crystal left on the planet by the Jedi thousands of years ago, but an anonymous spacer, with the help of Obi-Wan Kenobi's Force ghost, was able to defeat him, and destroy the powerful crystal.

Behind the scenesEdit

It is possible to attempt to take the crystal for yourself in-game, but Obi-Wan's Force ghost prevents you, draining the crystal of its power and giving you the drained form, which increases your in-game stats when used. The canonical version gives you a similar item.

After killing Vartonis, you can loot his corpse for a deed to a special in-game vehicle known as the Lava Skiff. It allows you to drive over the lava on Mustafar without being burnt.

His species has not been officially confirmed yet, though it can be assumed that he is either of Sanyassan or Sayormi origin.
