A vault-spire was a facility on the world of Muunilinst built around a type of metal-rich smoker, which was particularly rich in gold, platinum and other valuable metals. These metals were then mined for export and helped to establish the wealth and credit of the Muuns and the InterGalactic Banking Clan. They were similar to mine-spires.
