Duron Veertag was a male Human who served as an officer in the Rebel Alliance, holding the rank of General. He was stationed at the Alliance's secret base on Golrath, and later on Arbra.

In 0 BBY, Veertag was present on Yavin 4 in the Massassi Temple directly after the Battle of Yavin. He attended the celebration in which Luke Skywalker and Han Solo won medals for their bravery.

In 3 ABY, he presided over the trial of Luke Skywalker regarding the death of fellow pilot, Captain Shira Brie. Along with the two other judge advocates, Princess Leia Organa and General Carlist Rieekan, he found Luke innocent of all charges, and reinstated him as a commander in the Rebel Alliance as well as the commanding officer of Rogue Squadron.
