- "Apparently, my father isn't the only one living in a dream world. You can't kill a Sith, you silly!"
- ―Vereta Fraabaal, speaking to a bounty hunter
Vereta Fraabaal was a female Sith apprentice in the time of the Cold War. Born as a force sensitive daughter of Admiral Fraabaal, Vereta was trained as a Sith on the world Dromund Kaas, eventually becoming the apprentice of the Sith Lord, Grathan.
After Lord Grathan's decision to go rogue, Vereta followed her master's path in the dark side. Her father decided to hire a bounty hunter to kill her due to Grathan's betrayal. The bounty hunter found her and engaged the Sith Acolyte in a duel. Vereta was defeated, and she had no idea why she would lose a fight against a person who is not force-sensitive. Vereta saw that she was not strong and everything that her master said about the dark side and the learning of a Sith was a lie. After abandoning everything that she held, Vereta pleaded the bounty hunter to spare her since she didn't want her life to end, but the hunter made it quick by killing her.
Behing the ScenesEdit
In the light side option, the bounty hunter freezes Vereta in carbonite and takes her to her father instead of killing her, which the Sith apprentice sees a fate worse than death, to receive the bounty. Mako will favor that option. Later on, while Admiral Fraabaal may be dismayed about having Verata brought to him alive, he thanks the hunter because she is "all I left of her mother." He plans to have her locked until she comes to her senses.
