VernanGroup was a successful industrial business in the final years of the Galactic Republic. It was notable for being one of the original sponsors of the Corporate Sector Authority. The business also owned a large portion of the Minos-Mestra Corporation. Unfortunately, with the rise of the Empire, businesses came under closer scrutiny and the Minos-Mestra Co. suffered. With waning profits, VernanGroup was forced to sell their stock in the company to local investors. It is unknown whether VernanGroup recovered from this financial crisis after their most profitable subsidiaries went under.
