The Verpine headband was a headband designed by the Verpine before they joined the Galactic Republic. The headband was a cyborg construct used to increase awareness by giving the user electrical shocks, keeping them more focused. This allowed a boost in mental abilities, but extended use of the device was damaging. The Republic did not supply its troops with them.
