The vibroknuckler was a model of vibro weapon manufactured by Czerka Arms. It consisted of a four centimeter-long blade fixed to a piece of metal that a hand could slide through. The vibroknuckler's user was able activate it by clenching their fist. While the blade did not increase its user's range, it did make its attacks almost impossible to block by an unarmed opponent. It was also extremely difficult to remove the weapon from its user by force.[1]
Behind the scenes[]
Vibroknucklers were first mentioned in the new Star Wars canon in Gadgets and Gear, a roleplaying supplementary sourcebook for the Star Wars Roleplaying series that was published by Fantasy Flight Games in 2019.[2] It first appeared in the short story "Beyond the Clouds," written by Lilliam Rivera and published in the 2020 anthology From a Certain Point of View: The Empire Strikes Back.[3]
The vibroknuckler originated in the Star Wars Legends continuity in The Essential Guide to Weapons and Technology, a reference book released on November 4, 1997.[4]
