Victor Pomt was Senator Viqi Shesh's Staff Chief who aided Shesh on several bribery assassination attempts. He hired Roxi Barl for the senator. After several attempts against Leia Organa Solo and Han Solo failed, another of Shesh's minions killed Pomt, making it look like a suicide so he could take the blame and the heat off Shesh.
