[edit] Biography
Senator Viento was present during an assassination attempt against the chancellor Palpatine in Coruscant when was saved by Jedi Master Ronhar Kim. After this attack against Palpatine by assassins disguised as Senate guards, he Senator Viento suggested that it was then even more necessary that a royal guard be created for the chancellor's protection.
During the Clone Wars, Viento secretly aligned with the Confederacy of Independent Systems, and planned to sabotage many Loyalist senators' speeders. He also helped arrange for Finis Valorum's assassination, a plot which also involved fallen Jedi Master Sora Bulq and Anzati assassin Sajé Tasha.
He was assassinated in 21 BBY by Quinlan Vos, who believed him to be Darth Sidious, the Sith Lord whom Count Dooku had mentioned to Obi-Wan Kenobi on Geonosis, due to misinterpreting Dooku (who wished him dead due to Viento attempting to double-cross him). Viento's bodyguard was K'Kruhk.
After his death, Viento was frozen in carbonite and placed in the Senatorial Tombs.
