Villip beacons were a type of villip that could be placed in space to provide information to ships. Yomin Carr of the Praetorite Vong placed one of these at Vector Prime on the edge of the galaxy which gave instructions to the Yuuzhan Vong worldship, directing it to travel to Helska 4.
