The Vindar were a species of white insectoids. Long after the death of Luke Skywalker, they oppressed a species they referred to derogatorily as the Squidge. The Vindar considered all things not of themselves to be inconsequential, and worked to destroy the culture and heritage of those they oppressed.

They were also responsible for the "death" of C-3PO after they blasted his remaining parts to oblivion.
